I’m in Destin today checking out resorts. Tops’l is one of the top resorts over here. It’s surrounded by the blue water of the Gulf of Mexico. But what makes it a really cool choice is that it isn’t just about occupying a beach chair (which is Sonny’s favorite spot). It’s Florida’s only resort name in Tennis Magazine’s Top 50 tennis resorts. Get that TOP 50. So, if you want to work on your tennis game while you’re working on your tan, you should be book this unit and book on down here. Now this was cool. I’m walking around the courts and if someone said it once I heard it a dozen times, “Are you looking for a game?” (Of course I wasn’t. Sonny Mann doesn’t play very well.) But it was cool because everyone I ran into made me feel welcome, I can’t decide though. Is this a beach resort with some tennis, or a tennis resort with a beach? Either way it’s a winner, I think.
Depending on your perspective Tops’l is either a tennis resort with a beach or a beach resort with tennis! But most people love Tops’l for the full service resort amenities that cater to families as well as the tennis enthusiast. The fitness facilities here are second to none with an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, numerous free weights and lots of cardio machines. There are fitness and dietary trainers on staff also. Tops’l has several nature trails for a nice jog or a relaxing walk. The Topsail wildlife preserve is neighboring to the east which gives the resort a very private feel and lessens the beach traffic while you work on the savage tan!
Tops’l Kids Club (“Surfs Up”) is one of the top in Destin! The parents and kids love this program! It runs during spring break and all summer long and is fun for all ages. The kids can join in pool games, beech Olympics, sand art, and lots of zany games and crafts you can’t find anywhere else. There is a parent’s night out 2 to 3 days a week from 6-9 pm. The kids are provided dinner and will either watch a movie, turtle search, ghost crab hunt, and meet new friends staying at the resort while the parents enjoy some quiet alone time in beautiful Destin!
Tops’l has other great amenities with a tram service to get you to all of them! It has a spa with sauna, hot tubs, and massage therapist on staff. There is also a 18 hole putt putt golf course for the kids and a chipping and putting green for the golfers to practice their stroke. There is a Tiki bar by the beach and 3 restaurants including the Ocean Club which is rated one of best dining experiences in Destin! So enjoy all this:

Now let me tell you about your place.
This place is really roomy! Right from the entryway. You got space for beach toys, tennis rackets, golf clubs, you name it. As I’m walking in I’m noticing the décor. It’s really a great looking condo. Well laid out. Plenty of room. But Let me give you a “Sonny Eye View” of everything.
The LIVING ROOM’s got a comfortable sofa that opens into a queen sleeper. The entertainment center’s got a nice sized TV that’s got a cable television package that allows you to access a dozens of channels, a remote that can switch channels from anywhere in the room, a DVD so you can pop in your favorite beach movie. Or if you like, surf the web on the high speed internet that’s available. If you want to truly enjoy the beach experience wonder out to the balcony through the floor to ceiling sliding doors enjoy the sugar white sand beaches and emerald green Gulf waters.
The MASTER BEDROOM has a king sized bed and private bath. Great décor as you’ll see in the pictures. There’s plenty of space to store your beachwear in the spacious walk-in closets. There’s a large TV with dozens of clear channels, you may want to pop in your favorite movie into the DVD. You’ll also enjoy the tiled bath with shower and garden tub where you might can relax and reenergize after a day full of beach activities.
The SECOND MASTER has comfortable Twin beds and plenty of space for everything you’ve brought to the beach including a nice play area for the kids.
The open gourmet KITCHEN area looks out over the water and features beautiful counter tops with attractive cabinets and appliances. It’s fully stocked so no matter whether you’re cooking your specialty or just fixing grill cheese sandwiches you’ve got everything you need to please the family. Wraparound bar makes it easy for everyone to grab a quick snack or a full meal.
The DINING AREA comfortable comfortably seats six, and offers beach views so the family can share meals and trade their favorite part of their days at the beach while enjoying all the beauty of the gulf.
The Washer/Dryer is conveniently located to make keeping everyone in clean clothes a breeze.
These bedrooms along with a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room allow the unit to sleep 6 comfortably including 2 complete baths.
