Why the Owner Chose Port Charlotte
We randomly happened onto this beautiful place while stopping in Port Charlotte for a lunch break in route from Tampa back to our home in Miami. A local agent mentioned the property in passing and after seeing it, we put an offer on it right there! The house was in need of updating but we saw the location and waterfront as too good to pass up. We have updated and added central air conditioning, the pool patio and 210' new seawall with a boat dock and sitting docks. Port Charlotte is one of those great Florida towns where you are still greeted with a friendly "Hello" almost anywhere you go. We love vacationing there to get away from the hectic pace of our lives in Miami. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do!
The Unique Benefits at this House
The house opens up to the water front. With a triple glass slider opening from the living area onto the screened pool patio, you can enjoy the view from inside or out. The canal provides great wildlife viewing including plenty of waterbirds like egerets and herons, the occasional dolphin swimming through fishing for dinner in the canals, plenty of fish jumping, some great bird watching on our bird feeders and a bald eagle that frequents the big tree in the back yard. Along with this, you are only a couple minutes drive from grocery shopping and dining establishments! It is a great location!

Hello!, This property is preseneted by Doug and Felicia who live in Miami and have vacationed on the Florida West Coast for the last 20 years. After finding this house in 2002, they established a permanent vacation spot for them, their kids and the fortunate few renters who have stayed there!
