The house is 2,100 square foot cedar home furnished with top of the line new appliances & furniture. Everything in this home is family, wheelchair & dog friendly. If you are looking for a quiet & peaceful retreat from the city, this is your vacation destination! It has all the amenities of a high end resort with the privacy of a single family home that is perfectly built for your "Up North" vacation.
You can sit in the 6 person hot tub watching all the wildlife along the river including mink, otters, muskrats, beavers, bald eagles & there is waterfowl of every kind. There is great fishing right from the dock! 18 species of fish including small & large mouth bass, walleye, crappies, perch & pike. The water is so clear you can see them in the water! You can dock your boat(up to 24') with access to 38 miles of Inland Waterway. Waterways access the inland lakes of Mullet, Burt & Crooked or Great Lakes Michigan or Huron to fish or cruise to Bois Blanc or Mackinac Island.
It has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops & stainless steel appliances & center island seating. There is a H2O refrigerator, 5 burner stove, microwave & dishwasher. Just off of the kitchen is our large family room where there is a 52” big screen TV with Dish Network HD Satellite programming, DVD & surround sound. WIFI is provided for your internet browsing.
Walk out from the family room to the lighted deck that has a telescope to enjoy the starlit evening skies. You will hear gurgling water, song birds, peepers, frogs, ducks & geese. You'll rarely hear sirens or planes! The deck has a patio table with 6 chairs, 4 white wood rockers, a stainless steel grill & lounge chairs to sit in the sun. Go down a few steps to the stone & concrete fire pit(wood provided) with seating area & swing. Down the steps from there is the 40 foot dock. Bring your boat or rent our pontoon boat with seating for 9 or the 16' fishing boat. The entrance has a covered, lighted porch with seating near a rock garden with perennial flowers.
The master suite comes complete with Log King Bed with Tempurpedic style new mattress & a full size bath with marble counters & private toilet area. The master bedroom has a private patio door that opens to the deck overlooking the river.
There are 2 additional bedrooms, 1 with a king & 1 with a queen bed plus each bedroom has a TV with satellite as well. There is a second full bath plus a ½ bath in the laundry area. There is a treadmill for your use. There is a large kennel/crate on site & a doggy door to fenced area for your canine friend.

Cheboygan is a beautiful harbor town situated along Lake Huron & the Cheboygan River. Water activities such as boating, fishing & trips to the beach are always a treat here. That's not all you'll find! There is great dining, shopping, hiking, biking & hunting...you name it & we've got it!
The house is within 25 miles of Mackinaw City or Indian River. There is plenty of shopping at the Mackinaw Crossings(at the foot of the Mackinac Bridge), Gaylord, Petoskey & Harbor Springs or walk along the beaches of the many nearby state parks.
Did you know that everyone who lives BELOW the Mackinaw Bridge is called a "TROLL" & everyone above the bridge(UP=Upper Peninsula)is a "YOOPER"? Don't live here? Then you might be a "FUDGIE"! Mackinaw & Mackinac are both pronounced the same. On the Island it is Mackinac & on the mainland of the Lower Peninsula it is Mackinaw.
