This condo was even better in person than the pictures. We had such a great time here. The beach chairs and umbrella that were included were so nice. The location of this room was perfect. The walk to the beach and pool was very close. Would definitely come back again!

This unit certainly exceeded my expectations! The decor was very tasteful and appropriate for a beach side condo and had a "homey" feel throughout. The grounds were fabulous and the convenience to amenities superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Fort Walton Beach area and the Destin West Beach and Bay Resort in particular. The accommodations definitely contributed to our fantastic vacation experience! I highly recommend.

perfect spot for a couple, either alone or with kids. this condo has a door and dvd player for the bunk bed area that gives the kids their own hideaway. the view is awesome and the fishing pier and restaurants are within walking distance. highly recommend.

We were very happy with our visit. Condo was very clean and the owners provided everything you may need at the beach. The view was great. Having beach service made it so much easier especially with a toddler. You can walk to nearby restaurants by the beach. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

This condo was wonderful and we hope to rent it again! The location couldn't be better with the beautiful view of the ocean and the convenience of being on the third floor (connects to walkway). It was very clean and comfortable. We love that the floors are all tile. Also, the book that the owners provide proves to be very helpful when trying to decide on an area restaurant or activities. Pat also offered helpful information about the condo and recommended a great restaurant, "Harry T's" over the phone . We had a great week - the water temperature in pools and ocean was perfect. We enjoyed shopping at "Silver Sands" outlet stores and had a ball playing miniature golf and driving the go-carts at "The Track". Thanks for renting your beautiful condo to us! We look forward to our next vacation at Destin West.

Amazing Family Beach Vacation!

Our family experienced an amazing family beach vacation! We loved the provided beach chair service and absolutely loved the white sandy beaches and emerald waters. We made wonderful friends at the beach! The pools and lazy river were an excellent use for afternoon relaxation. Inside the condo the numerous hooks and baskets were helpful in organizing our family. Already looking forward to visiting next summer!

We loved our stay at this condo! Everything was perfect! Then room was very nice and had a place for everything. The pier was very close and many restaurants on the beach that we could walk to. We will definately try and come back next year.

The condo is just as it promised, closest to the beach and very close to the elevator to go down to the pool. Beautifully decorated with plenty of storage space, Everything you could need in the kitchen is there. The kids had plenty of activities to do without ever leaving the resort. It's close to shopping and restaurants, and the binder was very helpful( With Menus and everything). It was truly a very relaxing vacation. We definietly will be back next year.

We had a great stay - the condo was beautiful, clean and had plenty of storage for our family of SIX. The owners provided extras - a towel rack on the balcony was a plus, plenty of kids' beach toys, everything you need to cook. We loved how close it was to the beach, pier and boardwalk. The boys loved their bunk beds with their own TV. We did not want to leave and will definitely stay here again!

The unit worked very will for my husband, teen daughter and myself. The bunk room (with door) gave her privacy and her own space. It is very nicely decorated, and does not have the "Cheesy factor" that some beach condos do. The wireless internet signal from the unit was somewhat weak, but we were able to catch a signal from another unit with no problem. The beach was perfect the days we were there. Great time, great condo. Highest recommendations.

The pictures reflected on the web site were accurate and reflected the condition of the condo. Excellent view of the gulf and the swimming pool. The condo included all the extras you needed to make it feel like home for a week. All of the storage baskets and cubes, hooks, drying rack, applicances, kitchen utensils, and serving pieces made staying there very easy and helpful. Most of our stay included eating at "home" and everything we needed was there.The condo was very clean and well maintained. Much thought was given to ensure everything was labeled and easy to find. The "binder" of information was helpful and well organized. The owners were very helpful in answering any questions we had and providing information about the resort and surrounding area. Would recommend to anyone traveling to the gulf coast.

AMAZING!! Is all I can say. We had a friend that rented a unit on the bayside and her unit could not compete with ours. Every review is right!! The storage space and hooks are very accomodating. We had me, my husband, 10 year old girl, 3 year old boy, and my mother in law and we had nothing sitting out cluttering the condo. Everything had a place and there was still end tables and other storage spaces we did not use. The view from the balcony was perfect. Close enough to see & hear (yes you can hear them) the waves, but close enough to the pool to keep an eye on the kids while making snacks or lunch. We went for 4th of July and were able to view 2 firework displays from our balcony. This will be our spot for next year!! Also, a last thought, not a drop of oil our whole visit. The beaches were so white we couldn't even find seaweed till the last two days. Thank you to the owners who did a wonderful job with this unit. Even the ceiling is beautiful!!!

Where to begin? My three-year-old son and I vacationed here for a week and it was one of the best vacations I've ever experienced! Destin West is just perfect for families. There are several pools (the one right be this unit is HUGE). The Lazy River and Splash Garden were a huge hit. The walk to the beach is very short, which is great when you are lugging your beach "stuff" with you. Free beach chair rentals (with this unit) and the owners provided beach toys that we borrowed and my son loved them. Another thing I noticed right away is how accomodating and pleasant the Destin West staff are. The bathrooms by the gulfside pool are immaculate. Other people have commented on the labels and extra storage and hooks.....I noticed that as well. The owners have also provided a comprehensive notebook of things to do while you are there. That came in handy as I am not that familiar with the Destin area. One last thing...the bedding was so comfortable. I almost didn't want to come home to my own! Even the bunk beds were comfortable - so much so that I would imagine adults who aren't real tall would like sleeping in them too. I will most definitely be a return guest to this unit!

Just Like Home

My family had the pleasure of staying in this condo on spring break this year. It is tastefully decorated (pictures are exact of where you will stay) and feels like home. It is obvious the owners put a lot of time into making this condo a home away from home. The kitchen has unbelievable supplies required for cooking and we cooked several meals during our stay. Our kids loved the bunk room where they had their own bathroom, TV and DVD player - this bunk room also has a door for privacy unlike the others our friends were in. The main bedroom with it's own bathroom was very nice with a TV/DVD (King size bed was comfy). The location of this condo is the best - close to the beach and on the same level as the walkway to the lazy river. The view from the deck is beautiful!! The owners have reserved two chairs and umbrella on the beach, supplied beach toys, boogie board and umbrella for use. TV remotes, light switches and several other possibly confusing areas in condo are labeled which made it simple to control everything. There is also lots of storage that I did not see in other condos - our friends were jealous. There were shelves, hooks and extra cabinets installed that kept our condo clutter free. This condo is very clean and I would recommend this to anyone. When we come back we will definitely try and stay here again. There are many restaurants within walking distance, plenty of beach and swimming pools and Destin is a short drive for more restaurants and shopping. I also emailed the owners to thank them and quickly received a very nice email with a thank you back from them. Thanks again for a great week!!

My family and I absolutely loved condo 303! We could not get over all the extra storage, hooks, and convieniences this room offered. This is our 2nd year to stay at Destin West, but we were much happier this year with condo 303. The we loved it--from the TV/DVD in the bunk area to the beach service included, we were very happy and would love to stay in this condo again next year!

STAY HERE! We have stayed in many different condos across the Gulf Coast, from Gulf Shores to Destin. This was absolutely the nicest one. The complex itself is great with a friendly staff and GREAT pools. You're a little far from the lazy river in this unit, but it's much better to be close to the beach in terms of lugging everything you need. UNIT 303 is truly a home away from home. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING you will need. I didn't want a condo that looked like it was decorated in 1988 straight out of the Golden Girls. This is VERY tasteful, attractive decor. Didn't even realize until the end of the trip that the owners had put together a binder kept in the bottom of the TV armoire with information on every possible attraction. The way the condos were built, there really isn't a huge amount of closet space. But the owners of 303 have maximized space by adding extra storage in the bathrooms plus hooks all over the place. Great TVs, even one in the bunk room with a DVD player! My sister's family also stayed at the Destin West, paid about the same, and their condo was clean and nice, but did not have NEARLY the amenities, it was even lacking some basic kitchen necessities. Not our unit, it was PERFECT!

Destin West is by fair the best place to stay with your family. The amenities are top of the line. The proximity to eating out, shopping, the ability to go to the ajoining facilities can not be matched. Room 303 is the perfect location and the room is perfect, comfy beds, great TVs.....I can not say enough!

The condo was stocked with everything we needed. all of the shelves, hooks, and labels were very convenient. We also loved the notebook you put together and found ourselves flipping through it daily. When I was searcing for a condo on the internet yours had everything we wanted; a table and four chairs on the balcony, a bunk room with a TV and DVD player, internet connection and a great view! Also thanks so much for the extension cord and computer table-we used them everyday. It is absolutely impossible to leave work totally behind.
