WHAT OUR GUESTS TELL US ABOUT SKIPPERS...
In a word, it was perfect. My wife is a tough customer when it comes to interiors and she was blown away at how tasteful, relaxing, fun, and well-though-out the place was. Every time we needed something, it was there. It had a great tropical feel and the surroundings were rejuvenating, including the cats and chickens. We enjoyed being there so much that we hardly bothered to eat out and just grilled fish about every night. We watched movies and just hung out and enjoyed time as a family (we must have watched Scooby Doo and the Ghost Pirates 7 times!). When we left for the last leg of our trip, for which we stayed at the Hyatt, we were seriously sad and depressed to be leaving our home away from home. We would stay there again in a second and recommend it highly to anyone considering a vacation to Kauai--especially if they have kids and want a more relaxing atmosphere than expensive resorts & restaurants.

We had a fantastic time at Skipper's Beach Cabana, which was the perfect base for our day trips around the island. The house and the valley are just gorgeous. And Moloa'a beach is now our favorite on the island... Armin H.
We got back home late last night and are already missing the islands. Of the three homes we rented on the islands, yours was the best. So clean and such an impressive attention to detail we've not seen before in our travels with everything needed to make the most of our stay and the outside shower was a total bonus. The beach was perfect and never crowded.

Solitude, amenities, natural beauty, gorgeous snorkeling beach down the path……can't go wrong……unless you prefer to be around lots of tourists and commotion.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We spent a week at Skipper's Beach Cabana in June. It was a great vacation. We enjoyed the home and the surrounding area. We found that the house was as pictured. It was clean and very well maintained. It easily accommodated our party of 6 adults. The house was only a short distance from Moloaa Bay. We appreciated the beach toys that were provided for our use. The price was very reasonable and we will definitely consider staying at Skipper's when we travel to Kauai in the future.
