Beautiful Gulf Shores Vacation rental property for rent by owner!

West Winds is a complete 4 Bedroom, 3.5 Bathroom Gulf Shores Duplex that sits just off of West Beach and about 2 miles west the T at 59 and Beach. West winds is just 250 yards from the beach and about 600 yards from the a public Gulf Shores Beach entrance.

West Winds is surrounded by water. The beautiful Sugar White Sand Beaches of the Gulf of Mexico is to your south. Just walk down the boardwalk behind the gated pool area to our gazebo on Little Lagoon.
Ahhhh, now its starting to feel like vacation!

Little Lagoon will present you with some great fishing opportunities! Red Fish, Speckled Trout and Blue Crabs are often caught right from our gazebo. In fact, we have a fish cleaning station at the gazebo for your use.

West Winds has one of the best pool areas in any Gulf Shores Vacation Rental. Outfitted with 27 new luxury pool loungers around our Swimming Pool, Kiddie Pool and Hot-Tub! What can we say? You are going to love it! Just look at our pictures of the pool area.

Our Bedroom configuration is as follows:
Master Suite is absolutely splendid and private! It is on the first floor and features a plush King Bed, full bathroom with double vanity and closet area.

Gulf Suite on the 2nd floor features great queen bed, closet and a great view of the Gulf from the balcony. Gulf Suite has a shared full bathroom with the Media Suite.

Media Suite has 2 twin beds and is a fantastic area for the kids to kick back and watch their very own 48" Big Screen TV. At night the media suite of this Gulf Shores Duplex will convert to a 4th bedroom. There is also a Queen pull-out sleeper sofa! The media suite shares a full bathroom with the Gulf Suite.

The Lagoon Queen Suite has the best view and is private! This suite has a luxurious queen bed, large walk-in closet, full private bathroom and a large balcony overlooking the Little Lagoon. Watching the sunset from the Lagoon Queen Suite is simply spectacular!

West Winds is professionally decorated and has a inviting living room! There is a large leather couch and leather chair, as well as a rattan love seat to gather around the 48" Big Screen TV

The beautiful dining area and kitchen are sure to meet your needs. The kitchen has been outfitted to provide the opportunity for gourmet cooking. Anchored by stainless steel appliances and a 6 burner propane stove, our granite top kitchen bar will seat 3 for a quick snack before heading out to the beach.

West Winds provides 8 beach loungers and an umbrella with sand screw for your convenience and use.

West Winds is a Saturday to Saturday rental only.

Age restriction - you must be 25 years of age to rent West Winds, we do not rent to spring breakers for parties!

  • Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our time at West Winds. It has it all... regular pool and kiddie pool, hot tub, the beach within short walking distance, great views, a dock for fishing or sunset-watching. The rental unit was hands down the nicest we've ever stayed in... it was super clean, had everything we needed, and was decorated like a show home. A friend recommended it to us, and we would definitely pass on that recommendation and also go back there ourselves.

  • My family of 4 and another family of 4 stayed at West Winds Apr 5, 2008 thru Apr 12, 2008. We had the best time! The accomodations, pool, lagoon and beach were great and not too far from town. I would recommend to anyone looking for a Gulf Shores rental to consider West Winds.
