This home has all the upgrades including: concrete and granite countertops, stainless appliances, radiant in floor heat, master balcony for coffee, NPR and sunrises, fireplace and built in cabinets (with bookshelves and games to last you the full vacation but for everything you want to do outside). Epic (and we mean it!) kayaking, rafting, mtn biking, 4 wheeling, backcountry...the list is unlimited in the gateway to Colorado's highest concentration of 14ers. When you are fully exhausted from from the day's activities retire to the open floor plan kitchen, dining and family room for dinner and movies. The world's longest whitewater kayak and raft park is a couple hundred yards away. You can also walk to town for a drink, dinner and music. The brewpub on the town square (2 blocks away) is perfect for a pizza and a cold one after a long day of activity.
The house is stocked with linens, free wireless (althought it is intermintant), movies, CDs, books (with corresponding fireplace and views) and everything else necessary for your family's vacation. Washer and dryer. Outdoor speakers and patio with picnic table and grill.
Let us know about your pets and we will consider it; this is a well behaved dogs wildest dream. Our dog Shyla loves it!
Put simply, if we were not stuck in Denver working, we would be using it! It is awesome.
Please Note: The home has three bedrooms (one queen and two doubles) and one den (which you could use an air matresses in, if you arrange it with us first). Our family slept 14 last xmas but we had people sleeping all over the place and are pretty flexible.
Also please note, this is one of the first homes in this new community that has been finished and other homes are under construction. This doesnt impact anything for us, but you should consider and ask me for an email address of the community's progress if you have any concerns. Thanks!

1/2 payment before we will hold it and 1/2 at least 30 days before stay.
$125 non-refundable cleaning fee/stay.
$250 refundable security deposit returned after inspection.

Year Purchased: 2008
We built this home ourselves and put our heart and soul into it. It is a fabulous place to entertain and relax with friends and family. The open concept back area out on to the deck with outdoor speakers and picnic table make for a perfect place for summer afternoons. We hope to move here full-time sometime.
Why the Owner Chose Buena Vista
The arkansas valley is unmatched in terms of recreation. The river is a couple blocks away, great for walks and world class whitewater. The town square right on the river is perfect for picnics, outdoor checkers, horseshoes, frisbee and dogs. The brew pub on the square is perfect for a break after a long work out in the mountains.
The Unique Benefits of this House
You are essentially sandwished between the arkansas river and the collegiate peaks, which makes for endless recreational activities. The neighborhood is at the genesis of something remarkable ad the people in south main are great. I dare you not to get hooked.
