If you like walking, you are minutes from Alaska's famous coastal trail that follows the coast from downtown Anchorage to Kincaid Park. Many dining opportunities are within walking distance from this location. Anchorage has a fun nightlife for those who like to go out. We have fantastic restaurants that offer the freshest seafood anywhere and when you have enjoyed dinner then dance at the many nightspots in the city.
One of the busiest float plane lakes in the world - Lake Hood, is a ten minute walk, and is the central location for fly out fishing and hunting trips. Fishing is what Alaska is best known for. Anchorage is a great winter destination also, and is a short 45 minute drive to Mt. Alyeska - a world class ski mountain with runs for all types of skill levels. My family and I enjoyed our stay so much- we will stay here again. The condo is ground level, so for those extreme shopping trips-packing is a breeze. My son is almost 2, and he had plenty of room to run around and get comfy- something he couldn't have done in a hotel. The condo had everything we needed; bedding, extra pillows, towels, laundry detergent, kitchen utensils, coffee pot, freezer space, and high speed internet! My husband loves the lightening speed internet- he downloaded several movies for his ipad! Living in Bush Alaska you don't get speedy internet! The location of this condo is perfect. You are near the airport and post office for all your bush shopping-shipping needs! Thanks again!

Our family stayed for a week in July 2011 and had a great time. The condo was very comfortable for our family of 5. The kids each got their own bed (with one to spare). The amenities are wonderful: well stocked kitchen, wireless internet, cable TV, comfy couches (nice new leather couches), and very comfortable beds. The location is central to all areas, close to downtown, close to hiking and biking at Kincaid Park, and within a reasonable distance of anything you need. If our travels take us to Alaska again, we would definitely stay again!

We stayed in this condominium for 10 days in July. The accommodations were spacious and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to cook full meals. Even the candle centerpiece on the dining room table was just right for a small dinner party with relatives. We had several fires in the fireplace thanks to the owners providing fire logs for us. What a bonus! The owner was very helpful and willing to provide any information we requested in a timely manner. We would recommend this condo to friends and family.

We stayed here in early June 2010. A wonderful place, clean and convenient. The photos were accurate; actually it was better in person! The owner stayed in touch and was so courteous in his responses to my questions. Recommend this property to anyone who wants mid-town and plenty of room for a family. All activities you would want are nearby or a short drive away. I recommend Gwinnie's for breakfast - you may not need another meal that day...if you do, try the Snow Goose and Humpy's downtown
