Fox’s Den is an adorable low country cottage with everything on one level. Located on Seaside Circle in the Ocean Village subdivision, Fox’s Den is within a 2-3 block walking distance to the beach and village.
The cottage has three bedrooms and three full baths. The 50 foot lap pool is totally secluded in a private fenced backyard. The large inviting front porch is south facing and enjoys cool evening sea breezes – you can even hear the Ocean waves.
The front door opens to an inviting foyer room and hall closet. The second and third bedrooms have catty-cornered access from the foyer, which opens out into a large great room with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace.
The kitchen offers the perfect setting for entertaining on your vacation. The layout is open and adjoins to the great room along with a breakfast area that is separated by an island breakfast bar with three swivel bar chairs for extra seating. The breakfast area has a large farm table for six and sits in a large bay window overlooking the pool. The kitchen has a walk-in pantry and an adjacent laundry room and new stainless steel dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Above the fireplace sits a wall mounted 42” plasma TV that can be clearly seen from both the kitchen and breakfast areas. Now that’s entertainment!
From the great room, double French Doors open out to an inviting screened porch overlooking the hot tub and pool. The pool area is very private and is enclosed by an 8 ft wall that wraps around the back of the house. The pool has steps at the 3 foot shallow end and a teardrop-shaped 6 foot deep end with seating ledge. A wrought iron table, umbrella and 4 chairs at the shallow end of the pool are perfect for serving meals. A bistro table sits at the deep end of the pool offering a cozy retreat for a cocktail at sundown!!
The large master suite has a California King bed with a separate door out to the screen porch. The master bath offers a double vanity, garden tub and a separate enclosed shower. There are also separate his and her closets. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and closet with French doors that open out onto the front porch. The bathroom has a large vanity and separate stand up shower that can double as a powder room. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a closet and French doors out onto the front porch. Its bathroom has a large vanity and tub-shower combination.
Above the garage and overlooking the pool there is a bonus room available. This room is large, has hardwood floors and heating/air. It has bookshelves, exercise equipment a small table and stereo system. There is also a Futon bed in this room for additional sleeping.
