Sugar Plum is a beautiful house just above Little Apple Bay. The open air design brings the awesome uninterrupted view and breezes inside. Unobstructed panoramic views of the azure sea dotted with sail boats range from Jost Van Dyke and Sandy Cay over to the surf break at Cane Garden Bay. The surf break at Little Apple Bay is just below and is a great view and entertaining in the winter months. Fabulous accommodation for surfers as you can see the surf break at Little Apple Bay without leaving the comfort of your chaise lounger. Watch the pelicans fishing at Little Apple Bay, watch the sailing yachts cross the channel from Cane Garden over to Jost, watch the daily gathering of boats at Sandy Cay. We really have amazing sunsets in the spring and summer months. Comfortable chaise loungers to take in the entire view while enjoying you favorite cocktail. .

We have had the pleasure of staying at Sugar Plum four times ~ our most recent being in 2011. In our fourteen trips to the BVI, Sugar Plum has been a favorite stay on Tortola. The pictures portray the beauty of the villa, but do not do justice to the breathtaking views of the north coast along Apple and Carrot Bays. We are always in awe of the colors reflected in the sea, hillsides, and quaint village of Little Apple Bay as we sit in the open air living space. In the evening, we are treated to the twinkling lights along the coast and up the hillsides and are lulled to sleep by the sound of the distant waves and tree frogs. Everything you will need is included in this pristine villa ~ including a well-stocked kitchen, beautiful and comfortable air conditioned bedrooms, safe for valuables, and areas to relax, read, and soak up the views. Sugar Plum is perfectly located in our favorite area of Tortola. You can easily walk down the hill to Long Bay, Sebastian's, Bomba's, and the fish fry at the ball field. We always rent a car from Jerry's and have explored most areas on the island. Some of our favorite locations to visit are Palm Delight, Sebastian's, Bananakeet, and the Roti Palace. After a day spent at the beach, in Road Town, or exploring Sage Mountain, it's always a treat to return to Sugar Plum for cocktails and the peaceful view. The only problem with Sugar Plum is having to leave!Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. Quiet, clean, great view, convenient, all the necessities! Open air kitchen and living area plus air conditioned bedrooms/bathrooms was perfect. To give you a feel for the casual attitude-- a sign on the front door says "Gone to the Beach" and a sign on the unit next to it says "Gone to the Bar." We had a wonderful, relaxing time.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Sugar Plum is located midway up the mountain side, allowing for the perfect Tortola experience. Unobstructed Panoramic views & sounds of the ocean from your living room; listening to the quiet sounds of Calypso music rise from the village below in the evenings; or watching the cascading rains gently sweep down from the mountain top. Unreal. Amazing. Magical. I decided to stay for 3 weeks. Sugar Plum is clean, cozy, updated and well maintained. The listing photos are accurate. The beds are very comfortable. The a/c worked great. Never heard the neighbors. Any assistance I needed was immediately provided for by the management... including a car! I would stay at Sugar Plum again without hesitation.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Sugar Plum villa June 2nd through June 9th, 2012 We had originally requested a different villa. Cheryl was quick to respond to our email to let us know she had other options available. We followed Cheryl's instructions on checking in and someone met us at the villa within 15 minutes of our arrival. The villa was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen, living room and dining room are all open air with a spectacular view of Little Apple Bay. Both bedrooms had air conditioning and nice large bathrooms. There were plenty of towels to last us our week stay. The air condition worked perfectly. The bedroom had a nice large walk in closet, with plenty of hangers, iron and ironing board. Not that we used the iron!!! The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, dishes and glasses. There was a gas grill provided that we used two nights for very romantic dinners overlooking Little Apple Bay and beyond. Cheryl came by to check on us and let us know if we needed anything she was available. I can't say enough good things about this villa, except we will book it again. The location is perfect in that all the best beaches are within a 5 to 10 minute drive. Bananakeet is not far nor is Cane Garden Bay, and Sebsatian's is right below the villa. You can take a very interesting drive over the hill to Soper's Hole also or you can take the easy drive and be there is less than 15 minutes.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
