Although our house has a rustic look on the exterior, the interior has been recently remodeled. This is a 3 bedroom two bath house with a large screened porch and 2 decks. The back deck overlooks the Withlacoochee Bike Trail. The bike trail is part of the Rails to Trails network. It is 46 miles long. Rails to Trails are reclaimed railroad right of ways that have been paved for bicyclers and hikers. There is also a horseback trail along the same right of way. Floral City is a quiet, friendly community with a number of restaurants. You can ride your bike to breakfast, lunch, dinner or happy hour. There are also antique shops in the area.
Bike rentals are available at the bike shops located just 7 miles in either direction. If you are not a die hard bicycler--rent a recumbent bike--extremely comfortable and easy to ride.
Canoeing and kayaking available at Nobleton Outpost - 9 miles away.
