The bike paths connect Vail, Beaver Creek and Copper Mountain with Breckenridge and Keystone. Frisco is the classic mountain town. Small enough but with all the amenities. Town marina is within walking distance for great summer water sports. Town Cross country skiing area is within easy skiing distance in winter.
Both Breckenridge & Silverthorne have recreation centers for those rainy (and too snowy) days.
