My wife and I just returned from our trip down there and we have to say it was one of the most memorable and relaxing trips EVER! The unit is very clean and so HUGE that we got lost finding our bedroom! The outdoor showers (very private) was so chic! The full sized kitchen 8 seat dining table & fridge were fabulous as we could go to the local market for our fruits & breakfast foods. The spacious deck had a fabulous view and we could have easily stayed in our villa the entire trip!! Having our own landry facilities was great. We purchased some DVD's (only $ 2 Cdn!!) down in the local market and watched them on the big flat screen TV & surround sound. We've stayed at so many 5 star resorts in Mexico, Hawaii and the Carribean (Jamaica,Bermuda, Bahammas, Turks & Caicos but this was the best!! The ammendities were outstanding...the beach was only a 2-4 minute walk, the restaurants in the complex were terrific (we recommend purchasing the 20 or 40 point food program as it was very inexpensive & allowed us flexibility to eat at many other restaurants around town). Sailing and fishing were a blast and we even try a surfing lesson! All of the water sports (sailing, fishing, snorkelling, jetskis) were a footstep from our complex...less than 5 mins from our villa!! The staff were extremely friendly, polite and very accomodating. The waiters were great, the front desk/bellmen were always smiling and helpful! There were so many fantastic restaurants within a 2-5 minute walk from our complex it was so hard to choose! Very inexpensive ( $ 10-15/pp to $ 60-70/pp). One restaurant, Espuma had an amazing view of the city and a top quality 6 course meal for only $ 69 Cdn/pp. If this were in our home town the cost would easily be double!! A $ 5 taxi ride or 10-15 min walk (very safe) to town has so many reasonable and fabulous restaurants we had trouble deciding. Our biggest challenge for the day was what to do and what new restaurant should we try. Overall, a fantastic villa and beautiful location. I have taken my wife on MANY trips and EVERY single trip I have needed to call front desk to change rooms AND/OR HOTELS! This is the only trip I NEVER heard ONE complaint!! She loved it thoroughly and wants to return SOON with our 3 teens! The owners were so helpful and even provided us with a personal handout document/guide for restaurants (complex with person review & avg cost), activies,etc so we didn't even need to waste time researching on the internet! A real bonus
