A beautiful hand-crafted log cabin nestled in the heart of the Madison Valley
This amazing log cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood off highway 287 between McAllister and Ennis, Montana. The cabin is at the backside of the neighborhood adjacent to two private community trout ponds and borders hundreds of acres of undeveloped ranch land.
The Ennis Getaway Cabin is central to all activities offered in the Madison Valley. Come appreciate fishing on the world renowned Madison River or take a day trip to Yellowstone National Park. Go water skiing on Ennis Lake or take pleasure on a horse trail ride to high mountain meadows and lakes. Play golf or tennis at the Ennis Golf Club. At the end of your day, take a relaxing dip in the Norris Hot Springs at “the Water of the Gods”.
If this is not enough or … simply too much, you can stay back at the cabin, relax, grab a book and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Madison, Tobacco Root and Gravelly Mountain Ranges that can be seen from almost every window in the Ennis Getaway Cabin.
Our Great Room
A room for everyone to gather in front of the stunning two story river rock fireplace. The Great Room includes a kitchen with trout handles, Grandma Mil’s antique table, comfortable living room, candlelit mantle and old time western music on the phonograph. The kitchen is on the edge of the great room, so everyone can socialize together. Not to worry, the kitchen is fully equipped– island stove, dishwasher, microwave, service for 15 people, wonderful pots and pans and a refrigerator. Grandma Mil’s dining table is in the corner of the great room that will seat eight to ten. Great for dining or get your group together to play cards or games.
Bedrooms and Baths
The cabin has two bedrooms, a loft, and two full bathrooms. The first bedroom on the main floor has a full bed and two twins. The second bedroom is set up with two full size beds. The third sleeping area is upstairs in the open loft and has a queen size bed. Open the windows and enjoy the cool mountain air while snuggling under our cozy sheets and quilts. The cabin has a new spacious hand-tiled shower bathroom with the view of the trout ponds. The smaller bathroom includes a shower/tub combo.
Outdoor Amenities
Walk out across the yard for some practice casting on the two private trout ponds. There is a nice Weber gas grill and a wonderful outdoor picnic table which seats 12 comfortably for those outdoor barbecues. Throw a few horse shoes over at the horse shoe pit. Watch out for those water fights on the back lawn. Enjoy a quiet evening on the wrap-around porch.
Location & Details
The cabin is located off Highway 287, four miles north of Ennis and a 60 minute drive to West Yellowstone or Bozeman. Ennis Lake is less than half a mile and the Madison River is four miles away. Other Details: Smoking is not allowed in the cabin. Pets are not allowed on the property or in the cabin without prior written approval. There is a private phone, washer and drier. The cabin includes good-quality linens, and staples like paper goods, laundry soap, dish soap, etc. |
