Our family just returned from a week at your condo and we just loved it. The only thing we can think of that could have improved our visit is if we had seen some dolphins and stayed longer. The condo was better than we imagined even after reading the reviews and seeing the photos that looked like it was in great shape. The beach was great and much less crowded than Myrtle Beach where we went last year at this time. Garden City Beach is close enough for visiting all the Myrtle Beach activities if you wish but far enough from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach. The view from your balcony is spectacular. We saw amateur firework displays from the beach every night. The Conch Cafe next door was great and we loved the folder of information for various activities in the area which you have available for the guests. Our family went fishing on a boat out of North Myrtle Beach that we loved and found a discount coupon in one of the discount books you have in the folder mentioned above. Without a doubt, we plan to visit Garden City Beach again and to use your condo. We will highly recommend it to our family and friends.

I have not been on a vacation in 10 years and from the looks of the condo - my family and I were nervous - could this be the way it really looks? Yes and more. This particular condo association was family oriented and clean. The security guards made a point to know who we were without feeling intrusive. My family 6 adults and 2 children had plenty of room. It was beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Thank you Barry for a lovely time and allowing us to spend time in your rental. It was worth every penny.

Wonderful Vacation

Our family loved staying at your beautiful Garden City Beach condo. All was exactly as described; the view, the spaciousness and the decor. When we arrived we found the property to be clean and nicely furnished. As always, the week went by too quickly. We all were sad to leave. Garden City Beach is far enough away from the crowds in Myrtle Beach, but not further than a quick ride to any attractions, if that is what you want. Owner was a pleasure to deal with and we will definitely be making arrangements for next year. Thank You

We picked "Dolphin Watch" to stay at partially because of all the excellent reviews. The skeptic in me said this must be family and friends writing these reviews (all 5-stars). The promptness and heplfulness of Barry's replies gave me hope. Arrival Day - WOW!!! The view is stunning, as promised; The condo is roomy and well-kept, as promised; and our week lived up to the 5-star promise. The kitchen was well-stocked for our needs. They use a private housekeeper instead of rental-agency staff to clean the condo (and it shows). The elevator moves quickly and is close to this condo. We didn't hear any "neighbor noise", so sleeping was easy. We loved hanging out on the balcony, enjoying the view and fireworks at night (including some from mother nature). We took the 2-minute walk to the Conch Cafe on our first night for dinner and enjoyed it enough to go on our last night too. If you don't mind a longer walk there are restaurants at or near each pier. We drove to Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle and enjoyed it. The kids loved Margaritaville, and there's lots to do while you wait. All-in-all a great week. We have rented oceanfront condos from NC to FL and yours is the best. If we stay in the Grand Strand Area again, I know where it will be. Thanks for the hospitality.

A dream week at the beach

We just got back from a week's stay and highly recommend this property. The photos do not do it justice. The view is incredible! The condo was comfortable and homey. It really felt like staying in someone's home rather than a cold hotel. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. We certainly hope to return. I got up this morning and sorely missed going out on the balcony first thing. The weather was perfect and the beach and pool access were wonderfully convenient.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Simply awesome views of the ocean. This condo was everything and more for "the three sisters"! The place was clean, the rooms were beautifully decorated and the bedding was comfortable and modern. The area was amazing - so much to do - even in the winter. The Christmas Show at the Alabama Theater was spectacular and well worth the money. We had so much fun just relaxing and taking time out of our hectic schedules, that this place will be a "must do this" each year. Thanks so much for making this beautiful condo available.

A "dream come true" for me...

Spending an entire month on the beach was truly a dream come true. Dolphin Watch was everything we had hoped for and so much more. It was immaculate and ever so spacious with amazing views of the sunrise each morning, the pristine beach and the playful dolphins (as promised). I returned home to NY relaxed, refreshed and ready to go back again soon. In fact, I took out a year long lease on a lovely property one mile from Garden City Pier and will "snowbird" beginning in January. High praise for the area...the restaurants were diverse with so many amazing choices (fave was Ocean One atop the Litchfield Inn overlooking the ocean), also loved the Marsh Walk in Murrell's Inlet. A "must do" is a visit to Brookgreen Gardens...beautiful!!!! Broadway on the Beach, Market Commons and Barefoot Landing were alot of fun. A highlight was the op to "segway" through Huntington State Park on a 3-1/2 hour guided tour. Also a visit to Georgetown for the Wooden Boat Show was a treat. Best of all, 'tho, was the four days we spent in Charleston and Kiawah Island. Loved it!!! Can't wait to return to the Carolinas and invite family and friends to visit.

Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

"I cannot say enough about how great this wonderful condo is! We had the best beach vacation we have ever had! Every room is very clean and spacious with gorgeous views from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The pictures really do not even do it justice. You really can see dolphins from the balcony! And everyone staying here is VERY friendly! We cannot praise this condo or recommend it enough. We hope to return every year! Thank you for sharing! it with us! What also made this condo and vacation even more special is that I got engaged on the beach on a walk back from the pier! Great week at Myrtle Beach

We spent a week in August 2009 at this place. The condo was clean, nicely furnished, well lighted and exceptionally quiet. We felt comfortable and safe from the moment we walked in. Elevators from all parking levels provided convenient accessibility and put us right near our door. This particular unit sits on an outward point of the building complex providing a great view of the beaches in both North and South directions. And we did get to see some Dolphins swimming a few hundred feet from shore and several kite-surfers which was very entertaining. It was truly everything Barry said it would be. We had a great week and likely try to go back anticipating renting the same place. Thank you, Barry and family for the opportunity to stay at your condo.

Your place is fantastic and my how easily spoiled one could get! What a view! Our vacation was a dream come true. My family hasn't been together for over six years. My son is in the AF and through deployments and being stationed so far away, getting together hasn't been possible. Your place made our reunion perfect. It had everything we needed and more. The location is perfect and convenient to local attractions. To quote my son, "Mom, it's like a little piece of heaven." We will definitely return!

My wife and I stayed for the whole month of March and could not have been more satisfied. The ocean view is spectacular! We particularly enjoyed waking up each day to see the beautiful sunrise over the Atlantic. We also fell in love with the pelicans and dolphins that came by every day. We were close enough to Myrtle Beach to enjoy all it has to offer without being IN Myrtle Beach with the spring break types. Hailing from Vermont, we needed a winter getaway and your place was just what the doctor ordered. Barry, the owner, is delightful to work with. I would recommend this unit to couples and families alike. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

This is a great location, convenient to stores and restaurants. The condo is very spacious with new appliances, very attractive furnishings, and a wonderful view. We were here for most of February and were told this was a cold winter for South Carolina but we still had a number of days in the high 60's and only one rainy day. It was great for beach walks and bike rides. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked for next February.

Barry I just wanted to drop you and your family a note. We just got back from your place on Saturday. The place was better than advertised! The accommodations were very roomy and the convenience to the beach, pools, showers and pool bathroom were wonderful. We were very fortunate with the weather. Only one day was overcast. It was a great day to SHOP! The guys played golf and the women went to the pool/beach. I would tell your future guests to try the Texas Roadhouse. Good American fare at a reasonable price. The Conch Cove was also very good. We also went to Bubba's Seafood place. The food was inexpensive. It can be described as Southern style seafood. I have to say the crab cakes I had were some of the best ever. OF course, there were lots of fired options served with hush puppies. I do also want to tell you that during the course of the week, one of the martini glasses broke. Just let me know what we owe you on the replacement cost. We had an awesome vacation and enjoyed our stay at One Ocean Place very much. The condo was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. We had fantastic weather and the the view was unbelievable!! Location was perfect. There were 8 of us all together and it was very spacious for all of us. We had a wonderful family vacation last week at the beach. The weather and the beach were very beautiful, and the condo made the week so enjoyable. When you have never stayed at a place before you really don't know what you're getting, but it was so nice and the building was very well maintained. I also liked that all of the other people we met were families just like us...no college kids and wild parties going on. I would recommend One Ocean Place to everyone.

Absolutely beautiful location. Two walls of floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean. Very comfortable and family friendly. Our first night here, a giant sea turtle came on shore to lay eggs. Fascinating!

I just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our trip to the beach. Your condo was just what we wanted: good location in Garden City (we avoided the crowds), plenty of room, great view. It was a wonderful place to spend our anniversary. Once, on your balcony, a big sea bird flew by grasping a fish as large as he, and I believe, if I had been quick enough, I could have touched him or grabbed his fish. We watched dolphins pool around in the shallow surf. It was a very relaxing mini-vacation. Please share our appreciation with your wife and tell her that the tile is beautiful.
