Wonderful Home!
Wonderful Home!

We have a large family and were concerned about how much room there would be for everybody... 3 teens and a toddler... plus my wife and me... and her sister! Not only was there tons of room, but there was plenty for everybody to do. The house is beautifully appointed, with a pool table, video games, bbq, everything you could ever want in a kitchen... Everything brand new and in working order! The decks outside set right at the treetops, providing a beautiful view. By the end of our stay, we wished we had booked more time; and yes, we intend on returning.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We spent Memorial Weekend in this wonderful cabin. We had 3 couples, 2 teens, and 2 toddlers. There was plently of room to accommodate all of us, and then some. The cabin appeared brand new, with plush carpet and wood floors throughout. It had everything we needed from a hair dryer to a blender to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Also, the owners are very friendly, easy to work with, and accessible by phone as needed. We would recommend this cabin to anyone visiting Duck Creek, especially travlers with children. We would definitely stay again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Thank you for all the home comforts we enjoyed during our Spring break trip to your lovely cabin – we visited with our three children, as well as my brother, his wife and their three children; a total of four adults, and six kids between the ages of 8 and 12. We found it welcoming, spacious and well-equipped for our needs. The kids particularly enjoyed the chess and many games of pool. We also found it to be a very manageable distance from Bryce, Zion and Escalante, and particularly appreciated having a home base in the area.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

The cabin was the perfect setting for our 1st Thanksgiving as a combined unit - 2 adults, 2 teenagers, 3 children. The snow was perfect for us Vegas folks. The kids all enjoyed playing outside. The mudroom sure was handy when they would all come in wet and cold. We would hand them dry clothes and throw the wet ones in the dryer for their next outing. Then on into the fabulous kitchen for hot coco. The kitchen was such a nice gathering place for us. Had everything we need to prepare our meals. The large island w/stools was great for the little ones to sit and chat with us while we cooked. The dining table was a perfect fit for us all and could fit more. Plenty of space for all of us. The younger children pretty much stayed downstairs playing video games and enjoying the wonderful items in the game room when they weren’t outside. The older girls enjoyed the little ones being busy and were able to stay in their own rooms reading or playing on the internet in peace. The upstairs living room was very cozy with the fire going to snuggle and watch all the football games. Don’t think I could have asked for a better place for all of us-It was perfect! Looking forward to a visit without snow to explore the rest of the outdoors that the area offers.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We just returned from Turkey Ridge....it was fabulous!!! We met friends there.....2 famililes: 4 adults and 7 kids. It fit us perfectly! The kids stayed downstair playing pool, video games and watching movies while the grown-ups hung out on the main level playing games and cooking in the gorgeous kitchen! The cabin is beautifully and comfortably decorated. We roasted marshmallows in the pit out back! It is about 1 hour from Bryce and about 40 min from Cedar Breaks....not sure about how far from Zion's but you can see it on the road to Duck Creek. We ate at Pines Restaurant, which is known in the area for it's homemade soup and pies, delicious! We mostly ate at the cabin because it was so well stocked with cooking gear, everything including a blender. If you're going to cook, bring everything you'll need because the spice rack is limited. The closest real grocery store is in Cedar City, but there are smaller country stores in DC, just outside Bryce and in Tropic, in case you forgot something, but be prepared to pay double for it! We couldn't find a few things when we got there and the owner/property manager got right back to us and was helpful. I would and have already recommend this cabin to my friends and family!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This cabin is everything we hoped it would be. Lots of amenities, well-maintained it still looks like brand new. All the appliances/furniture are top notch. We hardly left the cabin instead of going to the nearby parks(Zion and Bryce). We will definitely come back. I actually made a video while inside the cabin. The firepit in the back was a bonus. We did our smores at night!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
