We stayed at the Cozy Cottage on Tattnall Street for 3 nights with our dog at New Years. We didn't use our car at all while we were there since we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to in the Historic District. The cottage is nicely equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed making coffee at the house before heading out to explore Savannah each morning. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Savannah.

This was exactly what I was looking for when I decideded to finally come to Savannah! I only needed my toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner, otherwise it was provided. It has that historic feel that I was looking for on my first trip to Savannah. My puppies felt very much at home and really enjoyed their first "fine dining" experience at the Pink House's side bar/patio. The linens were very soft and smelled great. The cottage is on the outskirts of the histroic district but is quite a beautiful walk to River Street. Savannah is everything I expected...excersice included...bring your walking shoes!! Just as a safety measure...be careful of the back road (Montgomery i think). Locals travel speeding through there and walking out the back of the driveway can be dangerous, we were almost hit by a speeding car. The bush is right by the road and you can't see oncoming traffic so please keep you puppies on a short leash and your eyes open until you clear the road!! I totally recommend. Thanks Betty!!! Kirsten

My husband and our dog stayed at the little cottage on Tattnall St. for a few nights just before Christmas. The place was just great and we really enjoyed the gas fireplace once we figured out how to light it. I'm disabled, so I really utilized the parking space on the thru-way next to the house, so we didn't have to worry about street cleaning and moving the car at night. Betty was just great answering all of our questions and e-mails. Thanks Betty! and Happy New Year to you!

This lovely little place is a couple of blocks from Forsyth Park, in easy walking distance from most of the iconic destinations of historic Savannah (like Mrs. Wilkes' Boarding House!) We didn't use our rental car at all, except for a trip to Bonaventure Cemetery and Tybee Island on our last day there. Nicely furnished and equipped, and the owner is close by for any help and advice you might need.

My husband and I and our two Jack Russell terriers spent Halloween in Betty's cosy cottage on Tattnall Street -- and it was a treat not a trick! The location couldn't be better from our point of view because you are still walking distance to everything the Historic District has to offer, Forsyth Park is a few blocks away which is great to people-watching and dog-walking and yet Tattnall Street is lovely and quiet. The house is beautifully-decorated and functionally well equipped and while we didn't do any cooking or use the laundry facilities, it would be a great place to make a few meals and enjoy them either in the beautiful private courtyard or at the dining room table while a load of laundry was being done. We made good use of the WIFI and enjoyed being able to watch a bit of football before turning in for the night. (The bed downstairs is very comfortable!) The ability to have your car parked off-street was an added bonus. We cannot wait to return. Thanks Betty!

We stayed here for the Savannah Rock and Roll 1/2 marathon. We could not have asked for a more convenient location. We could walk to everything in the historic Savannah district! The cottage was adorable and very comfortable. Betty made sure everything was ready and met us to give us the key. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you Betty.

It was the first time in Savannah for us - 4 adults and a dog. Savannah is truly a great place for walking and we enjoyed all of the activities but what we enjoyed most was Betty's cottage. It is close enough to all the action to be accessible yet far enough away from it to be peaceful and we all felt so much at home. We have never stayed anywhere that had so many personal touches. Every time we opened the front door we felt as though we were being welcomed into the house. Our time spent there was all too short but we left feeling relaxed and renewed. Betty was extremely helpful and accessible when we made our arrangements for the rental. She was out of town during our stay but she took the time to connect with us to make sure all was well. Her personal touches are evident in the property and in the way she manages it and connects with people. This was a wonderfully positive experience. I hope we can someday return.

This was a lovely place and the pictures don't do it justice. Two other women and myself stayed here during a convention in Savannah. We so enjoyed the quiet location and nearby park. We all felt very safe and the owner was extremely helpful....highly recommend!!!!

My husband and I enjoyed a week on Tattnall Street and absolutely loved it! The house was exceedingly comfortable and immediately felt like home. Anything we needed was available to us. It was well apportioned but not stuffy or ostentatious. Betty is the consummate hostess, solicitous without being overbearing, and taking care to check in on our well-being a few days after check-in. She was very easy to communicate with ahead of time, and was very responsive - in fact, when searching for a place to stay, she was the first to respond to my inquiries. We brought our Bichon with us and he moved in like he owned the place. Since he is a member of the family, it was a treat to be able to bring him with us. Daily walks in Forsyth Park were mandatory - early in the day as it was, afterall, August in Savannah! We will be back over the Thanksgiving holiday and we can't wait. Thanks again, Betty, for your wonderful hospitality and great customer service. You're a gem!
