Just steps to the beach!! The Pelican's Nest is tucked away amongst the trees in a wooded setting that is just 200 yards to the beach. It's the best of both worlds. Enjoy the breezes and the songbirds that visit the gardens as you relax in the gazebo or one of the sitting areas.
The patio is ready for grilling with a stainless steel grill and an outdoor dining area that is perfect for a summer meal. A short walk to the beach leads to a convenient access with a bike rack and plenty of room to park the beach cart. Return from the beach and splash down in the newly remodeled outdoor shower.
Located at 123 Ocean Oaks Drive, The Pelican's Nest is a clean and simple vacation rental in a great location with access to everything Emerald Isle has to offer. The Bike Path starts less than a half mile away and takes you through town to shopping, dining and sightseeing. The house is located in the Ocean Oaks Subdivision. Ocean Oaks Drive and the other streets in the subdivision are very walk friendly. There are no big streets to negotiate with the kids.
The grocery store, restaurants, convenience stores, gas stations, mini golf, and more are all less than one mile away. This is NOT a vacation house out of town. It's All Right Here!! Cruise for icecream or take a stroll through the Emerald Isle Woods park to check out the Sound. A playground for the kids is less than a block away and the beach is at the top of the street!!
No lines at check-in!! This allows you to start unwinding as soon as you get here. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the house by a host who will show you around The Pelican's Nest and assist you with your arrival needs. Your host will be on-call throughout your stay should you have questions, concerns, or find anything out of order.

On the ground level there is covered parking for two vehicles. A tranquil garden awaits in the backyard with a grill on the patio, walkways to the gazebo, sitting areas, and the outdoor shower. There is a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer that doubles as a locking storage area for all of your beach stuff. There are six beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a beach wagon to help get your gear to the beach.
The first floor has an open floor plan main living area. The kitchen is equipped with all major appliances, microwave, blender, dishwasher, and a full array of kitchenware. Outside of the kitchen is a screened room and deck.
Adjoining the kitchen is the dining area and the living room with a gas fireplace. The living room has a television with cable, DVD/VCR player and a wireless router for wi-fi internet access. All bedrooms have televisions with cable. Behind the kitchen is Bedroom #1 with a queen size bed. There is also a full bath located on the first floor.
The second floor has Bedroom #2 with a queen size bed and Bedroom #3 with two twin size beds. The second floor also has a full bath. Linen Service is provided. Clean linen and bath towels will be placed on each bed prior to your arrival.
