I surveyed the VRBO listings for Waterscape on Aug 18, 2009 and lowered my rates. I now have the cheapest fall rates in the resort!

Aug 2009 Update:
*We have just upgraded the sleeper sofa to a queen-size "Memory Foam" mattress! Super comfortable!
*Just installed new aluminum patio furniture with 4 swivel rocker chairs, very nice upgrade... Enjoy your dinner al fresca!
*The center pool in the courtyard area is HEATED during the cold months (I get asked this quite often, so there you are...)
*Our condo is on the 3rd floor of 6.
*We have parking available for smaller size boats (height clearance is the issue), jet skis, waverunners, trailers, etc.

How do you escape? Waterscape makes it easy... white sand beaches kissed by the Gulf of Mexico's shimmering waves, 490 feet of private beachfront for catching some rays, its own water park with activities for the whole family and more.
Private beach access includes a dune crossover with four freshwater showers and two foot-wash stations. Our private beach service will meet you at the foot of the crossover and set up chairs and umbrellas for you!
The 10,000-square-foot amenities courtyard is the heartbeat of Waterscape. You can spend all day here exploring the resort-style pools welcome swimmers, the gadgets and gizmos in the kid's pool invite curious children and the rambling pool decks lure residents and their guests to socialize with neighbors. Amenities include:
* Two swimming pools and multiple pool decks for sunbathing -- one pool will offer a zero entry point
* A wading pool with built-in water toys
* A play area adjacent to the wading pool with play equipment for toddlers and older children
* Barbecue areas complete with gas grills scattered throughout the center courtyard for family gatherings
* A LAY-Z ™ River that allows children of all ages to kick back as they float along the river course

In the summer months, the courtyard now hosts a Fudpucker's (local restaurant) walk-up snack bar that serves food, beverages, and cocktails poolside.
The courtyard also has two sets of bathhouses with full showers, so you can clean up before heading to the condo. Guests frequently arrive early or depart late, and use these bath houses to change to/from their swimsuits so they can enjoy the beach and amenities while they wait for the condo to be cleaned (or extend the vacation for a few more hours after check-out!)
The neighboring Destin area hosts one of the nation's largest outlet malls and multiple golf courses, as well as Big Kahuna's water park and many family activities.
This great 3rd floor interior unit in the premier beachfront property on Okaloosa Island has a direct view of the ocean, boasts a brand-new kitchen with all stainless steel appliances (dishwasher, self-cleaning range, side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker, built-in microwave), granite countertops (including breakfast bar), full-overlay kitchen cabinets, and in-unit washer and dryer.
The entry, hall, and kitchen have porcelain travertine tile. Cultured marble vanity tops, tubs and showers and white ceramic tile decorate the bathrooms. Ceiling fans in the bedroom and great room provide a welcome breeze while enjoying the view from the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door (approximate 8'10" ceiling height).
Both the living room and bedroom feature wall-mounted LCD HDTV's with built in DVD players.
Our condo also features:
* FREE High-Speed Internet (bring your own computer and cable).
* FREE Cable TV (including High Definition channels...just because you're on vacation, that doesn't mean football season stops!)
Step onto the eight-foot deep balcony to enjoy the sunset while dining at the outdoor table. Exterior features of the unit include electronic door lock and controlled-access covered assigned parking. This model unit is in extremely high demand as a vacation rental!
