Great Location

We spent an enjoyable nine days at this location, Feb- Mar 2011 and found the unit very clean and well equipped with more than everything we needed. This condo has been nicely updated and tastily furnished. Bedrooms were comfortable and we enjoyed the fact that we could leave our windows and even bedroom patio door open on occasion overnight to enjoy the evening breeze and sound of the ocean. We awoke to the the morning chorus of the myna birds......we actually did enjoy that!!!! We also enjoyed the great views from our lanai, the many beautiful sunsets and of course whale watching while eating breakfast in the mornings. Should we return we would definitely consider renting this unit again and we would recommend this condo to our family and friends. The complimentary pineapple was a lovely touch!!

Menehune Shores Condo

We stayed in this unit for 2 weeks at Christmas. Many people who live in this building are permanent residents . They were friendly and invited us to their Christmas potluck dinner on the roof of the building. The unit is located in a prime spot for sitting on the balcony to watch the ocean and sunsets in the evening. The beach is good for walking. The parking is adequate and there are grocery carts for hauling your goods up on the elevator. The owners, Ernestine and Sherry, live close by, so if you have any problems, they are right there to help you out. The unit is clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you might need for cooking. The location is quiet and close to shopping and activities. We enjoyed our stay there.

DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER!!!

I have been coming to Maui for over 12 years now and this is one of the most comfortable and beautiful condos that I have ever found. Wonderful view of the ocean - right on the water. Next door is a lovely little lagoon with a whale watching station. The grounds are immaculate, as is the condo.Just far enough away from the local shopping area to be convenient, but not imposing. It doesn't get much better than this! The owners are delightful and live nearby in case of emergencies. All you need to do is supply the food - the condo is fully stocked and there is also a restaurant onsite - THE BEST!!!

2011 Vacation

We have just finished our 7th year at Menehune Shores & our first time in this unit. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, upgrades in the bathrooms & kitchen and the very comfortable furniture. We have already booked this unit for 2012 & will probably want to book into the future. The owners clean this unit themselves & obviously take pride in ensuring it is in excellent condition for all renters.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+.

Everything about the unit met or exceeded our expectations. The place was well furnished and clean and the owner's went out of their way to make us feel at home. This was our first attempt at booking a vacation on line and it couldn't have worked out better. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property to our friends and relatives. Next time we will try to be there for the whales!

A Dream of a Condo

I had the opportunity to visit Maui recently. On this visit, I opted to enjoy the tranquility of staying at a condominium rather than a hotel. Now, that I have found this lovely unit, I will not consider staying anywhere else again. The view from this condo is fabulous as is the sound of the crashing surf lulling you to sleep. The unit is very well maintained, spotlessly immaculate and offered all the comfort and conveniences you could ever want. The complex itself was very quiet and the grounds were well maintained. We enjoyed the barbeques and the 360 degree views from the rooftop deck as well as the oceanfront pool. The property is centrally located close to lots of attractions, restaurants and shopping. It was just so easy to step outside from the complex and walk along the beach for as long as you wanted…..just perfect! Oh, and the owners were extremely helpful answering all my questions about their property and the area in general which made my trip planning so much easier. I highly recommend this condo and would not hesitate to suggest it to any of my friends or family.

We've stayed at Menehune Shores on and off for over 12 years now and this is one of the best! Beautiful surroundings - comfortable and tasty furnishings - at least a 4 star rating.....beautiful area. All you bring is food - absolutely everything that you will need is already in the condo. Very well stocked and immaculate. THE BEST - Owners are a dream to work with and you are right on the water with a tasty little lagoon and whale watching station just next door. Will definitely stay there again - hopefully soon!

Amazing condo!

We were lucky enough to rent this condo in June of 2010. When we arrived the condo was spotless and we had no trouble making ourselves at home. We had other friends at Menehune Shores and they were bummed that their property was not any where near as good as this one. The owners are top notch and called to make sure everything was good. The view was amazing and I loved being able to hear the ocean from the master bedroom! The toughest part was actually leaving paradise.
