Fantastic location close to everything you could imagine. We walked everywhere it was so convenient. Louve, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower etc.. 50 ft from a nice square of quaint restaurants and shops. Apartment was very modern, clean and perfect for the 4 of us. Loved the shower and the internet access. We felt like we lived in Paris. Caroline was so helpful and met us when we came and left. Followed her great travel notes and ideas for a wonderful time in Paris... highly recommend staying here.

Owner response:Dear Matt, Thank you very much for this !!!! Was a real pleasure to meet you all. Warm regards, Caroline

Wonderful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris. The apartment is exactly as described. The location is terrific. There's a farmers' market around the corner on Wed. and Sat. (in Jan. 2012). It's an easy 10 minute walk to the Roissy Bus from the airport. We walked to the Louvre (10 minutes) and the Champs (30 minutes). The bed is very comfortable and the street and building quiet. It is a walk-up, but only one story, so even with luggage it's fine. Caroline is very efficient and helpful.

Spoiled by the Comfort and Hospitality

Guest: Mary Ann (Stamford, CT)

Caroline and the apartment fully lived up to the glowing reviews I had read before leaving. The apartment was clean, comfortably furnished and beautifully located. Caroline was an excellent and informative hostess. The notebook she has assembled contains many suggestions on restaurants and sightseeing as well as detailed color maps showing how to get to them from the apartment - perfect for a visitor. The apartment is on a quiet street within a couple blocks of 2 grocery stores, 3 metro stations and several restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the many creature comforts including the onsite laptop, free international calls, rain shower and washer/dryer. Can't imagine why anyone would stay in a small hotel room when they could stay here for the same price.

Owner response:Thank you so much !!!! When we will see you again ?!!! Can't wait ! Warmest regards,

We found this apartment to be exactly as represented on the site. It was very clean and everything we needed was provided. The location is perfect and we were able to walk to most of the tourist sites. Caroline was very efficient and easy to deal with. The apartment was on the large side by Paris standards. Overall, could not fault and would recommend.

The perfect antidote to expesnive, mediocre hotels

Guest: William B.
Date of Stay: 10/15/11 Review Submitted: 11/13/11

This is the first time we've ever rented an apartment anywhere, rather than staying in a hotel. I don't care if I have platinum status at certain hotels; I will NEVER stay in one if an apartment like this is an option. The amount we saved on NOT having to go out for breakfast every day was worth it. The nightly rate was about 30% less than a mid-range hotel (e. g. Sheraton, Hilton, Westin). This is the prefect apartment and location to explore every nook and cranny of Paris - by foot and by Metro. Highlights: - Grocery: 1 minute walk - LOTS of restaurants and bistros: 2 minute walk - Shops: 1 minute walk - Metro stops: 5 minute walk - Louvre: 10 minute walk - Opera: 10 minute walk - Printemps and Gallerie Lafayettes: 10 minute walk - Tuliere Gardens: 10 minute walk - Musee D-Orsay: 15 minute walk You get the idea. The apartment itself is on a side street that is literally around the corner and a world away from the busy Av. de l'Opera. As soon as you turn the corner, street noise disappears. We slept well every night. The kitchen is small, but perfectly fine for breakfast and lunch and the washer/dryer is great. We packed three days' worth of clothes for our nine-day stay. Caroline is gracious and low-key. She met us right on time the day of arrival and, basically, we never saw her again. We did not bother her and she did not bother us. No need. Everything in the apartment worked just fine. When we return to Paris, this will ALWAYS be our base of operations!

So far, this was the best 4 days we've had in Paris

My wife and I were very pleased with our experience in renting this apartment last month. The apt. was as described in the listing, however, our 4 day stay turned out better than we expected. The owner was so helpful and nice. She had organized so much information that allowed us to see and do a lot in such a short time. Also her recommendations for restaurants was great. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone we know and will stay here again on our next trip to Paris! Enjoy....

Washington, D.C.

Our family of 4 spent four nights in this apartment after a cruise in the Mediterranean. We were looking for comfort, relaxation, full amenities and a cenral location. "A Suite in Paris" was the perfect spot for us! Caroline had her team met us late in the day for check in and reviewed all functions of the apartment, so there was no problem getting settled. We had two teenage daughters visiting Paris for the first time and really enjoyed the convenient location relative to the main sites of Paris and the computer access provided at the apartment to stay in touch with friends in the US. Caroline was available if we needed anything and made the entire experience simple and efficient. We look forward to returning one day soon!

A Suite In Paris

Guest: Sandi M.
Date of Stay: 06/24/11 Review Submitted: 09/29/11

Absolutely a great experience. Caroline is a jewel-actually caring and helpful. I've rented a number of small apartments in Paris over the last 10 years, but this is actually the first place I will return to. And the location is a dream. Very quiet street despite it's central location and a nice neighborhood. Caroline has a wonderful notebook with recommendations for restaurants, food stores, etc.

Best location in Paris

Guest: Lillian H.
Date of Stay: 09/02/11 Review Submitted: 09/17/11

Having been to Paris several times, I am concerned about a central location and a good night's sleep. Paris is a very noisy city at night. The layout of this apartment allowed for the best sleep I have ever had in Paris!!! It has all the amenities that I needed. The markets are just around every corner. The metro is steps away. I was able to walk to the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay and the L'Orangerie...perfect for museum lovers. In addition, my two favorite restaurants are just minutes away: Chez Flottes on Rue Cambon and Castiglione on Rue St. Honore. The landlady is just a doll, even carrying my luggage to the taxi. She has supplied the guests with maps, guide books, musical CD's of every genre, and current novels. It has all the amenities I needed and more. Caroline made a point of calling me to ensure that I had everything I needed and that all my questions were answered. Never had that on any of my previous rentals in France. However, what was most important to me, coming from New York and being away from home at the time of Hurricaine Irene, was the unlimited long distance calling...an invaluable perk. Being Swiss, I am conscious of cleanliness and the apartment was just spotless when I arrived. I did not feel the need to wipe down everything before using it. I was just one person renting it and am a very spoiled traveller, so the apartment was just the right size for me to be able to spread out. However, the apartment will also work for more people. Also, being a seasoned traveler, I am very conscious of safety. The entry door setup ensures that the apartment is very safe. There is even a safe in the bedroom. I could not have been happier with this apartment. I am somewhat reluctant to be too enthusiastic in my review because I expect to be back next year and want to be able to get in again. Thanks again, Caroline, for making my vacation in Paris the most memorable ever.

Owner response:Thank you so much !!! Can't wait to see you again ! Warmest regards, Caroline

It's not "rocket science" - this is the place to stay in Paris. . .

Guest: ToeKnee (Boise)
Date of Stay: 04/08/11 Review Submitted: 08/31/11

My friend and I spent a very enjoyable week in this delightful apartment in April this year. Caroline was beyond helpful and accommodating. Long before we ever arrived, she provided a myriad of suggestions and recommendations to add to our Paris experience. One of her suggestions was a dinner cruise on the Seine aboard the Calife. Seeing Paris was a dream come true, but of all the things we did, this dinner cruise, hands down, was the highlight of my trip. But Caroline’s help with making this an eventful trip didn’t stop after we arrived. Coming from the US, my scheduled time to meet Caroline at the apartment was delayed and reschedule several times - when we finally arrived about four hours late and one or two more missed appointments, Caroline was there to greet us with a smile. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION - the apartment itself is ideally situated right in the bullseye of Paris, and situated in a very quiet location. There’s a lock on the street-level door, and another one on the apartment door a short flight up – very secure. There is a grocery store very nearby, as well as numerous restaurants, bistros and some of the most famous attractions in Paris. A ten-minute walk will get you to Tuileries Garden or the Louvre. Anything anyone might ever need is within easy walking distance of the apartment, and there’s a Metro stop just around the corner to take you anywhere that isn't. Clean, safe, comfortable, quiet, a computer with Internet access at your disposal, plus free long-distance phone calls to friends/family back home, there's no better place to stay while visiting the City of Light. Caroline came to see us off the day we departed, arranging for a cab to the airport. I was sad to see it end, but if I ever return, this is where I’ll stay. Au revoir Paris et merci Caroline.
