    • I would like to "ditto" all other positive comments. This was the first time I have rented an apt. over the internet and I was somewhat nervous about it, but Caroline was the best person ever to rent from. Within 5 minutes of inquiring about the apartment, she responded. She was very patient, helpful, assuring, promt in her responses and professional. I stayed in Paris in July with my two college age sons and the apartment is in a prime location. We walked almost everywhere. The apt. is neat, clean, comfortable and quiet, except for when the garbage truck comes early in the morning which I quite enjoyed hearing through the open window. Upon waking, it reminded me that I was in a wonderful place that was quite real. The kitchen is alittle small for cooking a large meal, but more than adequate for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Who wants to cooks when in Paris, anyway? Caroline is very pleasant and more than helpful if needed as she lives close by. She has a vast knowledge of things to do and places to see and is eager to share it with visitors if asked. We would highly recommend her apartment to anyone visiting Paris and look forward to the time we can plan another trip as well.

    • My teenage children and I stayed at Caroline's for a week on our first trip to Paris this summer. The location couldn't have been better, the accommodations were wonderful and Caroline was a tremendous help! Would go back in a heartbeat!

    • We enjoyed a fantastic week in Paris. Caroline's "Suite in Paris" provided a very comfortable and central base for our adventures. The available reference material, including restaurant recommendations was also very helpful. Can not wait to return!

    • Thank you so much for the wonderful accommodations, Caroline! We would highly recommend your place to anybody looking for a holiday apartment in Paris. The apartment was close to all the famous monuments, shops, restaurants and public transportations. The apartment was peaceful, quiet and clean. It also featured modern conveniences not available in hotels and B&B's. We highly appreciated your hospitality and assistance. You were so helpful and always mindful of our needs. My husband and I are already marking our calendar for our next trip to Paris and staying in your apartment, of course. Merci, Caroline!

    • I can't say enough about our stay in Paris at the apartment. We had a tire cut on our way into Paris. We fixed the tire, but couldn't travel back with the small spare tire. Since the car was rented in Germany and we were in France, it was a problem. Caroline was a GODSEND!! She helped us with translations, phone calls, and went way out of her way to help us resolve this problem so we could get around to enjoying Paris. We loved Paris and carried her book with us. The recommendations and walking tours were sensational. We slept three people in the apartment and it was very comfortable. The location was perfect! If I am lucky enough to come back, you can bet I will stay here.

    • My husband and I recently traveled to Paris for our anniversary. Not wanting to spend a lot of money on a hotel and wanting more room than a hotel room could offer, we decided to book this property for 5 nights. It was a very wise decision! The residential street was quiet, quaint, and very convenient. A short walk to the Louvre, Opera House, and Jadin de Tuilieres. We found a great place for our fresh baguettes and croissants, numerous fruit stands, and of course the local grocery for milk and juice. We had friends staying at a nearby hotel and after dinner, the four of us would return to the apartment for an evening of cards, wine, and enjoyment of the wonderful CDs Caroline provided. We also used the guide books extensively. We loved the amount of space, the cleanliness, the small kitchen and amenities and the location (did I mention location already?)! Caroline was friendly, helpful, and prompt on her arrival. We would highly recommend this apartment and will be sure to check out VRBO for our next trip.

    • I stayed at Caroline's lovely apartment with my little boy (aged 7 years) for 4 days in mid-February. This was my first experience with a long-distance transaction of this sort, and I was initially worried, but responses to my email queries were prompt, complete, and very helpful, reassuring me. We were met punctually at the apartment and given a thorough and very helpful orientation to the place and the general locality. The apartment is very quiet but wonderfully close to many places of interest, and my son and I had a great time walking everywhere and coming back "home" at the end of an eventful day to dinner cooked with ingredients from the supermarket a stone's throw away. The place is truly fully equipped and very clean and comfortable, and the availability of lots of informational material and maps of Paris, free phone calls, TV, and DVD were greatly appreciated. Caroline was extremely helpful during our stay--well above the call of duty. I have let all my friends know about this gem, and am greatly looking forward to our next stay there. I have nothing but excellent things to say of our stay, and very highly recommend this apartment and the landlady/hostess to Paris visitors. --Medha

    • Dear Caroline, We had such a wonderful vacation, due greatly to you. Your efforts on our behalf were above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. The apartment is absolutely beautiful! We were warm and cozy and felt like we were home. Because of the location, we were able to venture out to several districts we had not visited on foot before; so we saw Paris the way the locals do, which was wonderful! Thank you so much for everything! We will definitely check your availability for our next visit. Love, Ilene

This apartment is the best located of 8 places I've stayed in Paris. A short walk to the Metro, bus lines, the Seine, the Opera, the Louvre, the hop-on hop-off bus. The neighborhood has stores, bakeries, chocolate shops, bistros, everything. Caroline, your host, has many wonderful tips in a book she keeps at the apartment, and there's internet access and a cell phone for making reservations, etc. She's Lovely and Smart and Helpful. The apartment is worth every penny and made myself and three girlfriends feel like youngsters again, having an adventure in our "own" place in Paris. We slept very comfortably and "cooked in" each morning for petit dejeuner (this saves one a lot of money in Paris, and you don't have to get up and get dressed to have breakfast!) I hesitate to give this review, because I want the place to be available when I next visit Paris, but integrity prevails and I have to honestly say that a place this fabulous should be constantly enjoyed, so "Happy Travels."
