The location of this apartment is superb! We especially enjoyed the walks through the old medieval parts of Paris that were mapped out for us so beautifully by the owner, Caroline. I can see why people love Paris so much. Thank you for a memorable stay.

This location at a very reasonable price was perfect for our party of four (me, my wife and two adult children). I would do it again in an instant! There are several nice restaurants in the immediate area that was an extra bonus for us. And Caroline is an fantastic hostess - she left us on our own, but was very understanding and accommodating when I locked us out of the apartment! I do not think you will find a better apartment/location in this price range.

I was fortunate to spend 4 wonderful days in Paris with 2 great friends. We had the additional fortune of finding this great condo. Caroline was simply wonderful, she met us at the planned time of arrival and showed us around the condo. She also arrived on the day of departure to obtain the keys, she was even kind enough to secure transportation from the condo to the airport for us. The condo is in the heart of Paris a quick 10 min walk from the Louvre, taxis, grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Yet it is on a very quiet street. It is just as pictured and was a wonderful place to re-group in the evenings to relax. Thank you for making our Paris trip just perfect! I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to have a great place to come home to after exploring the sights of Paris.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paris. The apartment is exactly as described. The location is terrific. There's a farmers' market around the corner on Wed. and Sat. (in Jan. 2012). It's an easy 10 minute walk to the Roissy Bus from the airport. We walked to the Louvre (10 minutes) and the Champs (30 minutes). The bed is very comfortable and the street and building quiet. It is a walk-up, but only one story, so even with luggage it's fine. Caroline is very efficient and helpful.

Caroline and the apartment fully lived up to the glowing reviews I had read before leaving. The apartment was clean, comfortably furnished and beautifully located. Caroline was an excellent and informative hostess. The notebook she has assembled contains many suggestions on restaurants and sightseeing as well as detailed color maps showing how to get to them from the apartment - perfect for a visitor. The apartment is on a quiet street within a couple blocks of 2 grocery stores, 3 metro stations and several restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the many creature comforts including the onsite laptop, free international calls, rain shower and washer/dryer. Can't imagine why anyone would stay in a small hotel room when they could stay here for the same price.
Owner response:Thank you so much !!!! When we will see you again ?!!! Can't wait ! Warmest regards,

We found this apartment to be exactly as represented on the site. It was very clean and everything we needed was provided. The location is perfect and we were able to walk to most of the tourist sites. Caroline was very efficient and easy to deal with. The apartment was on the large side by Paris standards. Overall, could not fault and would recommend.

This is the first time we've ever rented an apartment anywhere, rather than staying in a hotel. I don't care if I have platinum status at certain hotels; I will NEVER stay in one if an apartment like this is an option. The amount we saved on NOT having to go out for breakfast every day was worth it. The nightly rate was about 30% less than a mid-range hotel (e. g. Sheraton, Hilton, Westin). This is the prefect apartment and location to explore every nook and cranny of Paris - by foot and by Metro. Highlights: - Grocery: 1 minute walk - LOTS of restaurants and bistros: 2 minute walk - Shops: 1 minute walk - Metro stops: 5 minute walk - Louvre: 10 minute walk - Opera: 10 minute walk - Printemps and Gallerie Lafayettes: 10 minute walk - Tuliere Gardens: 10 minute walk - Musee D-Orsay: 15 minute walk You get the idea. The apartment itself is on a side street that is literally around the corner and a world away from the busy Av. de l'Opera. As soon as you turn the corner, street noise disappears. We slept well every night. The kitchen is small, but perfectly fine for breakfast and lunch and the washer/dryer is great. We packed three days' worth of clothes for our nine-day stay. Caroline is gracious and low-key. She met us right on time the day of arrival and, basically, we never saw her again. We did not bother her and she did not bother us. No need. Everything in the apartment worked just fine. When we return to Paris, this will ALWAYS be our base of operations!

My wife and I were very pleased with our experience in renting this apartment last month. The apt. was as described in the listing, however, our 4 day stay turned out better than we expected. The owner was so helpful and nice. She had organized so much information that allowed us to see and do a lot in such a short time. Also her recommendations for restaurants was great. Would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone we know and will stay here again on our next trip to Paris! Enjoy....

Having been to Paris several times, I am concerned about a central location and a good night's sleep. Paris is a very noisy city at night. The layout of this apartment allowed for the best sleep I have ever had in Paris!!! It has all the amenities that I needed. The markets are just around every corner. The metro is steps away. I was able to walk to the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay and the L'Orangerie...perfect for museum lovers. In addition, my two favorite restaurants are just minutes away: Chez Flottes on Rue Cambon and Castiglione on Rue St. Honore. The landlady is just a doll, even carrying my luggage to the taxi. She has supplied the guests with maps, guide books, musical CD's of every genre, and current novels. It has all the amenities I needed and more. Caroline made a point of calling me to ensure that I had everything I needed and that all my questions were answered. Never had that on any of my previous rentals in France. However, what was most important to me, coming from New York and being away from home at the time of Hurricaine Irene, was the unlimited long distance calling...an invaluable perk. Being Swiss, I am conscious of cleanliness and the apartment was just spotless when I arrived. I did not feel the need to wipe down everything before using it. I was just one person renting it and am a very spoiled traveller, so the apartment was just the right size for me to be able to spread out. However, the apartment will also work for more people. Also, being a seasoned traveler, I am very conscious of safety. The entry door setup ensures that the apartment is very safe. There is even a safe in the bedroom. I could not have been happier with this apartment. I am somewhat reluctant to be too enthusiastic in my review because I expect to be back next year and want to be able to get in again. Thanks again, Caroline, for making my vacation in Paris the most memorable ever.

Our family of 4 spent four nights in this apartment after a cruise in the Mediterranean. We were looking for comfort, relaxation, full amenities and a cenral location. "A Suite in Paris" was the perfect spot for us! Caroline had her team met us late in the day for check in and reviewed all functions of the apartment, so there was no problem getting settled. We had two teenage daughters visiting Paris for the first time and really enjoyed the convenient location relative to the main sites of Paris and the computer access provided at the apartment to stay in touch with friends in the US. Caroline was available if we needed anything and made the entire experience simple and efficient. We look forward to returning one day soon!

Absolutely a great experience. Caroline is a jewel-actually caring and helpful. I've rented a number of small apartments in Paris over the last 10 years, but this is actually the first place I will return to. And the location is a dream. Very quiet street despite it's central location and a nice neighborhood. Caroline has a wonderful notebook with recommendations for restaurants, food stores, etc.

We spent 2 weeks in this apartment and it was more than adequate for us. It is quite spacious for Paris and in great condition. We appreciated that we could walk everywhere very easily. The grocery store is a couple of blocks away and has good fresh food. Good places to eat around the corner but Paris is very pricey so we saved a lot be being able to cook and prepare salads at the apartment. Hotels in the area are $400 a night or so with no kitchen or separate bedroom. We really appreciated the use of the computer and internet in the apartment. No printer but you can go down the block and there is an Internet cafe to print your boarding passes to go home! We also were able to check some travel plans on the computer and keep up with our emails. Very nice place-- would not hesitate to rent here again.

My friend and I spent a very enjoyable week in this delightful apartment in April this year. Caroline was beyond helpful and accommodating. Long before we ever arrived, she provided a myriad of suggestions and recommendations to add to our Paris experience. One of her suggestions was a dinner cruise on the Seine aboard the Calife. Seeing Paris was a dream come true, but of all the things we did, this dinner cruise, hands down, was the highlight of my trip. But Caroline’s help with making this an eventful trip didn’t stop after we arrived. Coming from the US, my scheduled time to meet Caroline at the apartment was delayed and reschedule several times - when we finally arrived about four hours late and one or two more missed appointments, Caroline was there to greet us with a smile. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION - the apartment itself is ideally situated right in the bullseye of Paris, and situated in a very quiet location. There’s a lock on the street-level door, and another one on the apartment door a short flight up – very secure. There is a grocery store very nearby, as well as numerous restaurants, bistros and some of the most famous attractions in Paris. A ten-minute walk will get you to Tuileries Garden or the Louvre. Anything anyone might ever need is within easy walking distance of the apartment, and there’s a Metro stop just around the corner to take you anywhere that isn't. Clean, safe, comfortable, quiet, a computer with Internet access at your disposal, plus free long-distance phone calls to friends/family back home, there's no better place to stay while visiting the City of Light. Caroline came to see us off the day we departed, arranging for a cab to the airport. I was sad to see it end, but if I ever return, this is where I’ll stay. Au revoir Paris et merci Caroline.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in Paris in March 2011. We had the good fortune to spend it in Caroline's apartment in the 1st arrondisment. The entire experience was perfect from the moment when she met us upon our arrival until she bid us farewell on our last morning in Paris. The transaction was extremely organized, the apartment had all the necessary ammenities. The location of the apartment is ideal:metro, restos ,museums. Perfect. I can't wait to return and would love to stay in Caroline's lovely apartment. For my husband and I it truely was home away from home.

The louvre, Orangerie and Tuileries gardens, Notre Dame, Left Bank, Hotel de ville with ice skating, Pompedieu centre, Rodin museum, Eiffel tower with ice rink, Place de vendome...... Caroline was so helpful both before we came and when we arrived tired late at night. We will be back . I have already recommended this apartment to friends. many thanks caroline

Caroline was very gracious. She met us when we arrived and explained how everything in the apartment worked. She called and made a dinner reservation for us, and she arranged for a ride back to the airport. Caroline also met us at 6:00 am on the day of our departure to say good bye. We took our 17 year old grand-daughter with us and the apartment was the perfect size. It was so much better than two hotel rooms would have been. It was comfortable and we would stay there again. The location is central to everything. We were close to the buses and the metro and of course, we walked everywhere. We would recommend Caroline's apartment to anyone.

We stayed at this perfectly located apartment over Thanksgiving in Paris. The apartment's size and washer/dryer combo worked out well. We bought local croissants every morning for breakfast and used the nearby Metro line everyday. Being next door to the Monotrpix was a plus. Quiet street, modern bathroom, wifi, computer, easy to find, good restaurants, atm, interesting neighborhood. great concierge service from Caroline. All we could ask for and more. Thanks.

When my wife and I were looking for a location that was both affordable as well as centrally located, we came across this apartment and reached out to the owner, Caroline. Caroline was not only friendly via emails, she was wonderful in person. She gave us a tour of the apartment, which had all the amenities of home, and then showed us a folder that she had compiled for our stay. This folder had just about everything, from instructions on how to work all the appliances in the apartment to her recommendations on local eateries to how to get to all of the best sights and things to do/see/eat while there! Needless to say, we found this folder invaluable during our stay and it frequently accompanied us on our walking tours to all the nearby sights. The apartment itself was beautiful. It has a very warm feel to it and was warm and cozy even though the weather outside was less inviting. Located right off the main street, the apartment was close enough to the sights to make it only a short skip and a step away and yet far enough where we were not subjected to any of the usual traffic noises you would associate with being in such a cosmopolitan city. The apartment had all of the amenities of home such as a coffee maker, washing machine, tv with cable, laptop with internet, plates, utensils and even pots and pans if you felt like making something at home instead of going out. There are two market situated no more than two blocks away (Monoprix and a smaller one) that pretty much offered anything you would want during your stay in Paris. There are upwards of a dozen+ restaurants and small shops all around you (no more than three blocks away) which will offer you a choice a different cuisines as well as sweet shops (chocolate nirvana) nearby. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and should our travels lead us back to the Paris area (maybe in the future when we have have kids) we will be sure to reach out to Caroline again to see if we can re-spark all the charm and romance we found during our stay in Paris.
Owner response:James, Thank you so much for this, I was really touched, and happy you enjoyed so much your journey in your new "home". I really wish you could all come back. Warm regards, Caroline

This apartment was perfect for the two of us ... it had everything needed for a wonderful stay and our first trip to Paris (but not our last!) Very centrally located ... just a short walk to the metro, RER or bus lines, and close to many of the major sights. We followed many of Caroline's helpful suggestions for walking tours, restaurants, activities, etc., and it was all spot on target ... her excellent advice made our trip much more enjoyable! In the apartment there were several guidebooks (in English) and maps ... the street guide was invaluable for finding our way many times. The listing was very accurate, the apartment was clean and well-maintained, on a quiet street. There is a laptop, but if you are not used to a European keyboard, you may prefer to bring your own and just use the wireless network provided by Caroline. It was nice to have the phone available for reservations and the few calls we needed to make to home. There are several nice restaurants nearby: we especially enjoyed L'Auberge Saint Roch (just around the block), Le Pain Quotidien for breakfast/brunch (nearby) and also the boulangerie just around the corner near the church for baguettes and croissants. I have been recommending this property to friends and family, and would definitely stay here again.
Owner response:I can’t thank you enough for this. I’m so grateful ! I hope you had a nice trip back and I really hope to see you again. Meanwhile enjoy autumn !! Caroline

I can't compare any hotel/property with this cozy apartment so well located and accessible to everything and moreover, SECURE. Definitely, this is the place to stay, reasonable in a super secure area. It accommodate 4 adults very comfortable. Thanks to Caroline for being such a great host and the guidance she gave us. Even though this is not my first time in Paris it won't be the last, and I will stay again in the early spring. Margarita Mulet-San Juan, PR

We want to thank you Caroline for helping make our stay in Paris such a great one. We want to especially thank your mom, Pierrette, she was absolutely great! The day we arrived all we had were large notes and she went out of her way to go get change for us, that was very nice and graceful of her. The apartment was perfect, and the location was better than we had expected! A 5 minute walk from the Louvre and the Tuileries put us in the center of Paris. We walked to the Louvre every night and watched the Eiffel Tower light show with a bottle of wine. We even saw Karl Lagerfeld shopping on Rue Saint-Honore! Thank you and we look forward to staying at the apartment in our next vacation in Paris. Fabian & Paula Miami, Florida USA

My husband and our 2 children (20y.0 and 16 y.o) stayed at the apartment from Aug 29 to Sept 3/10. The apartment is in a great location, clean and well equipped with everything you would need. We were a little worry that the apt might be a little too small for the 4 of us, to our relief, it was very spacious and we didn't feel cramped or "in each other's way". Bonus is the washer/dryer as we were in much need of some clean clothes after traveling through Italy. Caroline attended to every detail to make our stay such a pleasant experience, she even tried printing our boarding passes for the flight home so we wouldn't have to leave for the airport so early. She also called and arranged for a large taxi (super comfortable) to take us to the airport. We highly recommend this apt if anyone's looking for a place to stay in Paris. We would definitely book again with Caroline if we get a chance to go back to Paris in the future.

The apartment was walking distance to all major attractions. Caroline was very accomodating and she provided all the baisc nessecities. The only thing was that the door was difficult to lock which took quite some time for us to do each time we left to go somewhere. Caroline provides a detailed manual answering any question you might have about the apartment, nearby attractions, maps, and recommended restaurants. Air conditioning was an added bonus, as we had a little one and we didn't feel safe leaving the windows open.
Owner response:Dear Juls, Thank you so much for your review. I really hope to see you again, and by that time the door will be perfect. (It's repaired within the next two weeks !!) Warm regards to you all, Caroline

All aspects of our stay were memorable and very positive. Caroline was helpful in providing information about the local area, spoke English well and was responsive to our needs, i.e. even booking a large taxi for our travel to the airport. The location is ideal with local subways, restaurants, walks to local sights and shopping-- and it is perfect accommodation for a small family or couple. Again, Caroline made it easy to stay there. We would highly highly recommend this to others who are desiring a fantastically located place with a responsive and kind landlady!

Caroline, the owner, was the reason we settled on this apartment. She was incredibly helpful to us before, during and after our stay. Every detail is thought through by her, from furnishings, bathroom products, kitchen accoutrements, internet, phone and a whole drawer full of guidebooks, dictionaries and her personal favorites in the neighborhood. We stayed at Caroline's apartment with our two young kids in May 2010. The location is really superb with a lot of things to do in walking distance, the métro is nearby, also a boulangerie and supermarché. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and well equipped (even a Senseo coffee maker with some pads provided). Caroline was very helpful: she send us a lot of information beforehand, late arrival was not at all a problem and she also takes time for welcoming us in the apartment. Thank's again, Caroline, for coming a second time to pick up our luggage. We already recommended your apartment to some friends of us. Hope to see you again. A bientôt, Anja and Peter.

My wife and two adult daughters made our first trip to Paris and were fortunate enough to find Caroline and her property. First the property - if location is truly everything, then this apartment has it all. We were within 2-3 blocks of the Louve, subway, sidewalk cafes, fine resturants and shopping. The apartment had plenty of room, was well appointed and we slept wonderfully. Free internet access (and Caroline's laptop if you didn't bring your own), free outgoing telephone calls which allowed me to keep in touch with home and office and all the comforts of home made this an absolutely perfect choice for us. Now to the Host - What can I say? After leaving Paris we stayed at a 5 star Marriott in London. That experience paled in comparison to Caroline's personal attention to our every need. She was a most gracious host, providing us with tips for everything from shopping to just getting around, recommended a marvelous resturant, called when it looked like we could be stranded by the valcano, and at 5:45 AM when our cab was 20 minutes late she was running down the street to find us a replacement cab so that we would not miss our train. This was our first trip to Paris, but I hope it's not our last and when we return Caroline will be my first contact. Thank you so much for helping make our stay an amazing experience.
Owner response:I’m really and definitively grateful for this, thank you all so much ! I’m really looking forward to seeing you again

Our visit was for 8 days in June 2009 and we loved A Suite in Paris! The location is central to all the sites, grocery shopping and in a quiet neighborhood half a block from a lovely restaurant-filled square. Farmer's market was a treat. The unlimited calls to US were offered no where else we rented in our 2 month visit to Europe. All appliances were top of the line. Caroline was a tremendous help and had every resource available a tourist would need. Luckily, when my wife's hair dryer overloaded the system, the apt had one. Thank you Caroline for a memorable visit to Paris!
Owner response:How kind of you, thank you so much for his lovely review. Hope to see you again soon !! Caroline

We (2 adults with 2 kids) stayed in Caroline's apartment for 12 days at the beginning of April and had a wonderful time. The location of apartment is fantastic, we just walked to most of the major attractions. It was fun to explore neighborhood and discover little shops along the way. The little apartment has pretty much everything you need for a stay in a city, even guidebooks and maps. It felt very good to come back in the evening to a place that felt like home. Caroline was very helpful in making our visit to Paris a wonderful trip. She was very responsive to e-mails ahead of our trip so that we knew what to expect, and she even arranged for us to have a babysitter coming one evening allowing for some grown-up time in Paris. All around, it was a great experience, and we hope to be back one day and if so, staying at the same place again. We will highly recommend Caroline's place to anyone who is looking for an centrally located place in Paris. Caroline, thanks for everything.
Owner response:Dear Ulrike, Thank you for this !! It was a pleasure to meet you all, and I'm happy you felt so well. Hope to see you next time !! Warmest regards, Caroline

We stayed at this wonderful apartment for almost a week in mid January and it was a very enjoyable. The location is ideally located within short walking distance to the Paris Metro, Museums and shopping. This apartment suited our needs perfectly. We would certainly stay again on our next visit to Paris.

The accommodations were wonderful, and adequate (size-wise) for four people staying in the unit (3 adult/1 child). You could not ask for a better location- most of the monuments and museums were well within walking distance. Caroline was a very gracious landlady/hostess. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit Paris!

We had such a wonderful stay in Paris! The apartment was in a great location- close enough to the sites, but on a nice quiet street. The internet and phone were very helpful, and something we didn't have easy access to on the rest of our trip. Caroline was such an attentive host. We appreciate all the little things she did to make our short stay in Paris so comfortable! We had a great time, and I wouldn't change a thing. Many thanks!!!

We were 4 persons 55+ years old, we value comfort, details and practicity, and this flat had it all. The descriptions by the owner were helpful and accurate: the location was perfect for sightseeing, we went walking to almost everywhere and it had a metro station and stops of useful buses very close. The property was very well mantained and clean, and it had plenty of details that made it feel like home. It also had all the equipment that a usual flat is nowadays expected to have, such as tv, stereo, cofee maker, computer with Internet access, etc. It also has plenty of helpful tourist information available. The owner was very polite, gentle and educated, and her treatment was very friendly. We got plenty of useful information from her, and she was always taking care that everything was correct. In short, we will be back, and we will reccommend this place to any good friend and relatives that plan to spend some days in Paris. Simply perfect.
Owner response: Thank you so much for this kind review, I really hope to see you again. Caroline

I would like to "ditto" all other positive comments. This was the first time I have rented an apt. over the internet and I was somewhat nervous about it, but Caroline was the best person ever to rent from. Within 5 minutes of inquiring about the apartment, she responded. She was very patient, helpful, assuring, promt in her responses and professional. I stayed in Paris in July with my two college age sons and the apartment is in a prime location. We walked almost everywhere. The apt. is neat, clean, comfortable and quiet, except for when the garbage truck comes early in the morning which I quite enjoyed hearing through the open window. Upon waking, it reminded me that I was in a wonderful place that was quite real. The kitchen is alittle small for cooking a large meal, but more than adequate for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Who wants to cooks when in Paris, anyway? Caroline is very pleasant and more than helpful if needed as she lives close by. She has a vast knowledge of things to do and places to see and is eager to share it with visitors if asked. We would highly recommend her apartment to anyone visiting Paris and look forward to the time we can plan another trip as well.

We were delighted with the apartment. It had everything including a washer/dryer which was a big plus! It is very well appointed , very clean and comfortable. We had enough room to have friends over for a leisurely dinner . This place is within a walking distance of everything that counts in Paris or at least around the corner ( on Blvd de l"Opéra ) from the main metro/buses lines. We were also around the corner of the Place du Marché ST-Honoré with its many cafés and farmers' market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The same market also features already cooked Italian, moroccan and other exotic food ready to take home fpr a nice meal. The apartment is close to other restaurants on St-Roch , and St-Honoré streets. The food supermarket is also just around the corner. The landlords are always very easy to reach at any time. We are returning in mid-September, this time for almost a month! I would gladly recommend this apartment to friends. Thanks Caroline ! Yolande and André, Ottawa, Canada

Thank you so much for the wonderful accommodations, Caroline! We would highly recommend your place to anybody looking for a holiday apartment in Paris. The apartment was close to all the famous monuments, shops, restaurants and public transportations. The apartment was peaceful, quiet and clean. It also featured modern conveniences not available in hotels and B&B's. We highly appreciated your hospitality and assistance. You were so helpful and always mindful of our needs. My husband and I are already marking our calendar for our next trip to Paris and staying in your apartment, of course. Merci, Caroline!

My boyfriend and I decided to book a vacation in Paris to celebrate my 30th birthday. I couldn’t have been happier with our decision to stay at Caroline’s apartment. She went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable & happy and had an amazing time in Paris. She even went to great lengths to help my boyfriend and my step-mom plan and book fun excursions for me so that my 30th would be unforgettable. Caroline epitomizes the definition of a gracious host. Additionally the apartment was absolutely wonderful. It was much larger than any hotel room I’ve stayed and was adorable and wonderfully located and full of all the essentials. I was happily surprised with the extra perks provided such as a lap top with internet; a phone with free long distance calling to the US and other countries; a drawer full of fantastic CD’s and DVD’s and more. I would recommend Caroline‘s suite to anyone considering going to Paris. Carlyn G, CA (US) - September 2009
Owner response:Carlyn, Thank you so much !! Was truly a pleasure to meet you guys ! .. come back quickly as there are plenty other wonderful things to see and do here... Warmest regards to you both ! Caroline
