Woodland #2, our pet-friendly vacation property in Gearhart, Oregon, 80 miles west of Portland, is located in a quiet, wooded residential neighborhood. It's a two minute drive directly onto an expansive beach along the Pacific Ocean, where vacationers can park their vehicles and enjoy a day at the beach. Seaside, Oregon, with its carnival-like atmosphere, is a five minute drive to the south and Astoria, Oregon, with its bohemian feel and historical background, is a fifteen minute drive to the north.
This single level house, which sits on a 10,000 square foot lot, was built by one of the area's best builders, Johnson Home Building, in 2008. It has oak hardwood floors, granite counter tops, hickory cabinets, high quality appliances, travertine tile, northwest art, an open living room/dining area, a romantic master suite and very comfortable beds. Woodland #2 projects a feeling of warmth and openness to its guests.
Woodland #2 provides a vacation and gathering destination for many occasions. The quiet wooded setting, outdoor hot tub, premium movie channels, large master suite and jetted tub in the master bath are perfect for a romantic getaway. Desks in the living room and master bedroom, wireless internet access, 42-inch LCD monitor for presentations and unlimited long distance are great for business retreats. The large gas grill, outdoor picnic area, private fenced yard and proximity to next door vacation property Woodland #1 are terrific for family gatherings and family reunions. For sports fans, all NFL games during the football season and all NBA games during basketball season can be viewed in 1080p HD on the living room TV. A small library of books, videos and games (for both adults and children) is provided.
