We love Destin West, this was our second time there and we had such a wonderful time with great memories! Jackie was such a pleasure to work with and the condo was decorated beautifully but still felt homey enough to let my kids run around as usual. The next time we come to Destin West, we will certainly be renting from Jackie again, she thought of everything, even had games, movies, sand toys and beach chairs all ready for us to use!

My family and I stayed at this condo last week for our first beach vacation. My husband and I have a 2 year old and a 3 month old. This condo was perfect for our family! Our 2 year old had a bunk bed in which to sleep (except that she preferred sleeping in the king size bed with us) and the master bedroom had plenty of room for our pack n play. The condo overlooks the Lazy River and pool area, which were quite easy to access. Since we stayed in early October, the pool water was quite chilly, but we swam nonetheless! We also sat on the balcony and witnessed some gorgeous sunsets. The condo is also close to everything in and around Destin, which was very convenient. The best part was that the owner was so wonderful! She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns and was so congenial it felt like we were staying at a friend's condo. The only negative was that it was rather difficult to carry everything to the beach--toddler, infant and everything that goes with them, beach chairs and umbrella (which were graciously provided by the owner!). The owner also has a Gulfside condo that we will consider next time. If our kids were a little older, this bayside condo would have been no problem at all. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who is interested.

Now that we are home and the dust has settled a bit I felt I had to write and let others know how much fun we had on our vacation thanks to this VRBO owner and their beautiful condo (#177253)!! Perfect for a family of 5 (two adults and 3 children). The kids slept great in the bunks and our littlest on the fold out couch. Plenty of elbow room! This condo is just steps away from the lazy river and a very short walk to the beach. Really the the best location because you can definitely get to both very very easy. In addition, the pontoon boat rental is right next door to the condos. We rented a pontoon boat for the day and were able to walk to the back of the property and hop right on. To say that the condo owner was easy to work with is an understatement. I've worked in customer service for many years and this was top notch! She checked on us before our arrival and even apologized for the algae in the ocean! :-) (BTW, the algae only lasted a couple of days and then beautiful turquoise water for the remainder of our vacation). She provided links to fun places to visit too! The condo was beautifully appointed and had everything we could need except groceries. The 'Publix' grocery was just down the street from the condo (very convenient!). A lot of people say they need another vacation once they return from their vacation. Not us. We came back so relaxed and fulfilled (even after a 12 hr. drive back to Texas!) We are already talking about our next trip to Destin/Ft. Walton Beach We'll be booking this same condo again when we nail down the dates.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your condo. So comfortable it felt like home. Nicely decorated and we had everything we needed. The beach chairs were certainly appreciated to save us some $$$ from having to rent them. In my daughter's words - the lazy river was "awesome"! Jackie was great to work with - she made everything simple and I would rent from her again without hesitation! Thanks for everything!

We have stayed at the Destin West for our summer vacations for the last few years. This condo was clean and very well decorated. Jackie was such a pleasure to work with. We have never had any one call to just check and see if everything was okay when we arrived. It was a special gesture which made us feel even better about our stay. We will definitely rent from her again!!

What a perfect spot to stay with young kids. Ours (ages 6 and 4) loved the bunk room and the close proximity to the lazy river. Jackie was helpful and professional and the condo was clean and well-maintained.

This condo was wonderful, we enjoyed watching our kids from the balcony as they floated around the lazy river. I loved the bright tropical colors and atmosphere this condo displayed, we felt like it was our home away from home. I was afraid the distance from the room to the ocean would be an inconvenience, but we were able to get to the beach just as easy from the bay side as it was on the gulf side. We look forward to coming back and making more unforgettable memories!

We stayed at the Condo the week of May 22 to 29th. We had a wonderful time. The condo had everything you would need. The kitchen had the cookware and small appliances to make the stay enjoyable. Jackie worked with me at the last minute and refunded my deposit money very quickly. My son loved the bunk room, lazy river, pool, water fall and easy access to the beach.
