I recently stayed at this home with a bunch of friends and we enjoyed everything Manhattan Beach had to offer. The house had plenty of room and beds and was clean with close proximity to the beach and all the restaurants and shops MB has to offer. A great trip all in all. The only problem? LA TRAFFIC!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Perfect location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. House is in perfect condition, exactly as the pictures show. The rental met all of our expectations making our stay a very pleasant one; I would definitely recommend it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Location of this rental was perfect for beach lovers with family; convenient rental location for shopping and dining out in Manhattan Beach! Located on a walk street, family gatherings outside were ideal for watching evening sunsets. Rental property was clean, spacious, and room for 4-6 adults with 2 children. This will definitely be revisited in the future! Rental owners were excellent to work with for this first timer with VRBO!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay was perfectly accommodated by the house and the amenities. It was clean, organized and within walking distance to everything. We never had to take the car out! The tenant above the garage welcomed us and was sweet. I would come back next time I'm in LA and would recommend to others. The only problem was the construction blocking our view for two whole days. They had two huge tractors and a jack hammer that they used and we had to close windows and we were not able to sit on patio to enjoy the view or hear each other talk. I understand the fence but it blocked the view completely from the patio since day one.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Stayed with a group of 7 guys to train for beach volleyball for the week. The location is perfect, only 2 blocks from the beach and 3 blocks to Manhattan Blvd with restaurants, shops, etc. The house is large, 2 private bedrooms downstairs, 2 bedrooms upstairs, one of which is very large. Great, large living room / kitchen area. Patio is probably best part - BBQ, glimpses of the ocean, and lots of friendly people walking on the adjacent walk street. Dont need a car as Manhattan is close to the airport and walkabke to restaurants/pubs. Its not quite as fancy as many of the homes in the area, but excellent value for its large size and close location to the beach. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a large home near the beach.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

Our family stayed here for six weeks. The place is great and there is nothing like going to bed and hearing the Ocean or waking up and seeing it when you walk out of your doorstep. We had a hiccup as the oven broke while we were there but the owner fixed it the next day and even sent us a gift certificate for our troubles. It was very classy and we were appreciative. We had a good overall experience and would definitely recommend the rental.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

A wonderful vacation in a house that is just a short stroll to the beach, with a great view of the ocean from the patio. Large home accommodated 6 adults and two children. Only issue is strange upstairs bedroom/bathroom configuration, but not so as to diminish the stay. Very helpful ownership.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

This house is ideal for families traveling with kids. We stayed there for a week in April. There were seven of us, including three kids under the age of three. The kids room had tons of toys to play with and bunk beds which our kids loved. The house itself was very comfortable and the owners were very responsive (one of the showers backed up and the plumber was out the next day). What makes this house really great is its location. It is just blocks from the beach and has a wonderful patio with a view of the ocean. Great value for money.Recommended for: Families with young children

Our family arrived from all over and each one felt right at home. We are grateful that the owner's are gracious with sharing their fine vacation home with us. We had everything we needed to enjoy the beach; were within walking distance from the sand as well as "downtown" Manhattan Beach. We were even able to fit two cars in the driveway! Staying at this home reinforced our enthusiasm for using "Homeaway" each and every time we travel, both in the US and in Europe!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Great family vacation home. The house was just as described, a great location, very clean. Perfect for our 4 kids ages ranging from 6-12. We loved that we could walk to the beach and downtown and not worry about parking. The owner was very helpful answering questions in a very timely manner - an easy, pleasant experience! We would highly recommend this home as a great vacation spot! Loved riding bikes, downtown restaurants, shopping and excursions to the Getty, Universal Studios, Santa Monica and Hollywood.Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car.

We had a wonderful time with our 10 month old during our one week visit to Manhattan Beach. This house is definitely suitable for children (fantastic if they are still in a stroller). Our daughter napped and slept wonderfully in this comfortable family home. It has great televisions, very fast and easily accessible Wi-Fi, and well-appointed furnishings. Location, location, location! We have visited Manhattan Beach for the last three years. On our first visit, we rented a home directly on the Strand and on the second visit, we stayed at Shade Hotel. This house is BY FAR our favorite spot so far. The walk street location is perfect because you have access to a generous patio and the home is minutes to Manhattan Beach Avenue and Manhattan Beach Boulevard shops and restaurants (2-3 minute walk). The Strand is approximately a 2-4 minute walk away and the largest public park with tennis courts and an awesome tot playground (Live Oaks Park) is approximately a 10 minute walk. The owners were very quick to respond to any inquiries we had and I would HIGHLY recommend this property to friends and family looking to visit Manhattan Beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
