Our home is so close to the water that you feel like you are on a boat! That's why we call it The Blue Boat House. It is beautifully decorated with brand new furniture and is new to the rental market. This 3 bedroom/2 bath home is on the North/East Shore of Dauphin Island and has incredible views of the Dauphin Island Bridge, Little Dauphin Island and Amazing Sunsets! There are lots of windows, an open floor plan, and a large deck that is perfect for entertaining!
Our home sleeps 6-8 easily. There are 2 king bedrooms, 1 double & 1 twin bedroom, and 1 queen sleeper sofa. The Master Bedroom has a private full bath. There is another large bath in the hallway. This home is very spacious! It features a modern kitchen, a breakfast room & separate dining room both with an Awesome View of the Water! It also has two living areas - one living room with a sleeper sofa and one large sun room with a fireplace, a baby grand piano, and large glass doors to the deck. The living spaces have Incredible Views of the Water! The over sized deck is the perfect place for cocktails and entertaining, birding, or just hanging out watching the boats go right by!
The Blue Boat House is a few minutes from the public boat launch. The carport has high a ceiling and is the perfect place to park your boat.
Other activities include swimming, snorkeling, fishing, crabbing, sunning, right in the backyard! The white sand beach and the Dauphin Island Swim/Tennis/Golf Center are very close by. There are bike trails all around the island. The Audubon Bird Sanctuary, The Estuarium, and Fort Gaines History Museum are all less than a mile from The Blue Boat House. There is shopping on the island, restaurants, and a large public beach with a fishing pier.

- Our house sits directly on the waters edge! You can Fish and Crab off the Sea Wall in the backyard! Enjoy water sports! There is a boat launch within 1 mile of our house! There are pilings at our Sea Wall to tie up your boat or jet ski. Enjoy viewing the birds and wildlife on the bay! The sunset is incredible! Watch boats go right by in the channel! Beautiful views of Dauphin Island Bridge and Little Dauphin Island! Beautiful peaceful & quiet neighborhood. The white sandy public beach is just down the road. There are lots of restaurants, activities and places to visit on the island! Boaters Paradise!
