Not your typical rental, more like home, in a residential beach community, very comfortable, perhaps the most comfortable couches you will ever lay down on. 55 inch LCD HD TV, Cable, Stereo, VCR/DVD with tons of movies. Wi-Fi high speed internet access. Many board games.
Beach chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, boogie boards for you to use. Best of all, outdoor shower.
Large screened in porch with hammock and two Adirondack chairs. Gas grill. Great for seafood, try Austin's seafood.
Covered parking for two cars. Huge driveway. Plenty of room for boat or RV.
Queen bed in master bedroom. Queen in second bedroom. Queen in third bedroom - Linens Included, please bring your own beach towels. Downstairs rec-room with bunk beds, TV/VCR, Nintendo, dart board.
Pets welcome (house broken only please).
Great fishing from the shore, off shore charters from Pirates Cove, or Avalon Pier and Nags Head Pier. In Manteo, see the story of the Lost Colony, the Elizabethan Gardens or the North Carolina Aquarium. Cape Hatteras offers the best surfing on the east coast. Close to Sea Scape golf course and Nags Head golf links. Great Kayaking too.

We purchased in 1999 so we could always have a place to call home. We have been improving the Ranch for 12 years now, and it has come a long way to be as comfortable as it is.

Full featured beach shop, 150 yards away. Chairs, suits, sunscreen, glasses, everything.
This is great homemade ice cream and pizza. We love to walk for ice cream.

We can't wait to go back again next summer. The cottage was perfect, the location was ideal and if your dog is a part of the family they are welcome as well. Everything from surf shops to restaurants and beaches all within a short walk. The whole rental process was seamless and has erased any apprehension I may have had not using a realtor.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had a great stay at Rancho Relaxo! The home was very clean, and everything was as advertised. The location was central for sightseeing. We were able to make it to the Wright Brothers Museum, the beach, and Jockey Ridge within minutes. We drove to the beach and had no problems finding parking and convenient beach access. Our kids really enjoyed going down stairs, getting away from the parents, and playing the Nintendo 64 games, watching television, and hanging out on the bunk-beds. We loved being able to bring our two dogs. (The only thing missing was a toaster and a net for the basketball hoop!) BTW the couches ARE really comfortable and the big screen TV was awesome! We would definitely recommend Rancho Relaxo.

We will get a new net for the hoop also (it did not survive the winter). Thanks again and please come back!

Pull up and make yourself at home! This is the feeling you get when you walk through the front door. Not your ordinary rental house. Relaxed is what you will be while this is your home away from home. Great amenities come with this house, also right in the middle of shopping and restaurants and night life(forget driving, just walk). Nice quiet street for being so close to those attractions. You will not be disappointed with the selection of this house. Rancho Relaxo is top notch!

I've stayed at Rancho Relaxo several times and I can not imagine a better beach experience. I love surfing at The Outer Banks, and whenever I get to go there I always stay at this house. Easy access to all the best beaches and restaurants (mmm, Tortugas, yummy). Mike and Aimee, the owners, love this house and have taken amazing care of it over the years. Plus dogs are welcome which is essential for me. I would absolutely recommend this property for your beach excursion.

We absolutely love this house. Rancho Relaxo is like a home away from home except that the beach is right around the corner! Great location gives us easy accessibility to our favorite restaurants & shops. The beach is beautiful!
