It’s “About Time” to enjoy a relaxing get-away in this delightful home located in the charming family community of Old Florida Cottages. On the Gulf side of picturesque Hwy 30A, the cottage is just 200 yards, without crossing any roads, from a beach access featuring life guards, restrooms and a picnic shelter.
The beach boasts pristine white sand and a nearby coastal lake. For more fun, the neighborhood has a heated community pool with covered deck and gas grills.
About Time has three bedrooms and three baths, sleeping 10. Attractively designed and decorated, the first floor has a living/dining area with a queen sleeper sofa, plus a bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom, along with a well-equipped kitchen for those nights when you just want to stay in and cook.
The second floor has a master bedroom with a king bed and a beautiful Gulf view along with a kid friendly bedroom that has twin bunks and a daybed with trundle. Each bedroom has its own private porch.
The cozy living room has a flat screen HDTV with a Wi-Fi Blu-Ray player, a stereo with 5 CD changer and a great selection of board games to provide fun for everyone. Each bedroom has a television and a DVD player. The cottage has broadband cable internet, Wi-Fi and free long distance service. An open (12x12) deck provides the perfect spot for dining under the stars.
About Time has a laid back location paired with easy access to restaurants, shopping and a nearby seafood market. Getting around is a breeze on the bike/jogging path that runs the length of Hwy 30A. Also nearby are the acclaimed beaches, restaurants and golfing of Destin, Seaside and Sandestin, not to mention great shopping at the Silver Sands Outlet Mall.

Parking for 3 cars. Saturday to Saturday rental in the summer. Non-smoking, pets not allowed.

We just spent a week at this very well appointed and well maintained house. It was very comfortable for our group of 7, including 5 teens. We love staying at Old Florida Cottages because of the quick beach access and this was the 5th different house we have rented with friends and family. It did not disappoint. The weather was perfect and there was no oil on the beach at all! We've stayed at other communities on the gulf coast, but always return to Old Florida Cottages. The combination of beach access, proximity to restaurants and seafood market and comfortable accommodations can't be beat.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
