If you are looking for a place to spend a weekend, a week or a month, to get-away, relax, yet be close to so many attractions, this is the place for you! Easy access, paved road.
Enjoy the solitude and relaxation of the Great Smoky Mountains in our two new cabins. You can rock the day away on your private elevated porch, listening to the rushing waters of the Little Tennessee River flowing nearby. If you are in the mood for activity, we are close to gem mining (Franklin is the gem capital of the world), The Appalachian Trail, Cherokee Indian Reservation, Harrahs Casino, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Estate, and Nantahala Outdoor Center.
We are secluded enough that you are away from it all, yet within an easy drive of two major towns (Franklin and Bryson City). Each cozy cabin is fully furnished, all you need to bring are the groceries. We have a picnic table and grill for those meals you want to enjoy outside, however, if you want to eat out, we have many wonderful restaurants in Franklin and the surrounding towns.

Perfect location for one family member to hike the AT. We three sisters shopped, dined, enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Leaves beautiful in this location. Area great for visting Waynesville, Clayton, Bryson City, Cherokee. Highlands & also Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. Jo was very helpful in suggesting local restaurants & giving directions. We appreciated she & Rup for making us feel very welcome. Cabin is very comfortable and hope to return soon for more valuable family time.

My husband and I will definitely recommend this cottage to our friends and relatives. It is reasonably priced, clean, quiet (except for the sound of the beautiful Tennessee River) and very comfortable. The owners, Rup and Betty Jo, were very helpful. It seems to us to be the best deal in the Franklin area.

Just got back from a week stay here in Cabin 1. It was pretty much everything we wanted, even the road (28) that it is located on is fun if you are a motorcycle rider like ourselves. Owners were very nice and the cabin had more than you would need. Only thing that could have made it better was internet access, but then again probably good to get away from that as well. Would definitely recommend this rental and looking forward to my next stay. Matt

We just returned from a visit to Franklin, NC. We visited several of the small towns around the area and we LOVED it. The cabin is very clean, has a furnished kitchen and is very private and away from it all. If you're looking to be in the middle of town....keep looking, this place is about 12 miles from Franklin, but for us, it was nice to escape the hustle and bustle and hear the river's roar. We really liked Jo and Rup. They were very nice and helpful.

What a wonderful place to stay, have stayed here several times, it's like a home away from home, everthing you could want, sitting on the deck listening to the river is the best !!

Enjoyed this little cabin, has everything, home away from home. What we liked best was how clean it is, this is hard to find. Price was affordable that we liked.
