Mornings on the lanai are blissful. The sun rises behind HALEAKALA VOLCANO and over the top of the Grand Wailea & Four Seasons Resorts to the south, brilliantly illuminating MOLOKINI ATOLL. Shinning on the horizon are the islands of LANAI and KAWOLAWEE, so close you can see whitewater waves as they break across the island cliffs. Directly below is the calm, glassy waters of WAILEA BEACH. THIS CONDO IS PERFECT FOR: HONEYMOONERS, LOVERS AND ROMANTICS - we could embellish further but think you can connect the dots. GOLFERS - JACK NICKLAUS SLEPT HERE! During the 2006 Senior Skins Game, the Nicklaus Family camped out at Penthouse 406. We don't think it helped his game much but just think of the great stories you can tell your buddies on the Blue, Emerald and Gold courses. SUN DIVAS - Lather up the SPF60 and bask on the lanai, ocean pool or walk out the gate to Wailea Beach where the attendants will set up your own cabana. EXECUTIVES - In desperate need of R & R. Trust us, the thought of never going home will cross your mind. FAMILIES & FRIENDS - Sleeps 6. Two (2) Sub Zero fridges, a Viking grill on the Lanai, huge laundry room and plenty of space for everyone. You can even see your kids play in the upper pool from the Lanai. SNORKLERS & BEACH BUMS - you are just steps away from white sand, lava rock points and more fun than a barrel of turtles (or eels if that's your thing). THE CURIOUS - your own MAUI home, same time and same place every year. Stake out your claim to the good life! ----------------------------------------------- Bunnie & Noel's list of stuff to do (Print this page) FOOD & DRINK - Penthouse 406 is so close to the fun stuff that you can see the color of the little umbrellas in the Pina Coladas served up at Tommy Bahamas. TOMMY'S - best mixed drinks on Maui (or at least with the most alcohol). Bunnie likes the "BBC" (Bailey's Banana Colada). Noel is a classic Mai Tai fan. Also, best coconut shrimp in the South Pacific. LONGHI'S - best breakfasts, try the fresh fruit turnover, it's different every morning and they ususally run out by 9:30 AM. For dinner, great fish and they will make you a pasta with anything you want in it (But it's not on the menu, just ask the waiter). CHEESE BURGER - you can figure this one out. Good for a meal on the run. RUTH'S CHRIS STEAKHOUSE - call your doctor to see how much red meat you are allowed. MATTEO'S - best pizza and canaloni in south Maui JOE'S - located at the tennis club and pretty much like most restaurants at any club. If you like restaurants named Joe's, you'll like this Joe's. -------------------------------------- SNORKLING - you could do the morning boat to MOLOKINI but lot's of times the boats come right back to Wailea Beach. Snorkle around the lava point directly in front of the condo, around the Marriot and walk back on the path. Or go to the other side of Wailea Beach by the Four Seasons and swim around that point to the Fairmont. SHOPPING - the shops have a pretty good variety of stuff, some really pricey, some less. The closest thing to a grocery store is the ABC store on the upper level and the whaler's general store on the lower level. JOGGING/WALKING PATH - right in front of the condo at the beach. Go out the gate and then go left or right. The beach walk is about 1 1/2 miles. You can turn up hill at any of the accesses and make the walk a loop of just about any length. THE GYM - is on the upper pool level. There is also a pool table at the ocean side of the lower lobby.
