  We have stayed at Sunrise Villa a previous time before the upgrade to the Kitchen Area. The new kitchen area does not impede the living area and is a BIG PLUS. The general condition of the unit was clean and neat. There is lots of space (shelving and table top) for sitting your personal items in view and for easy use. The rooms are spacious and not cluttered. The decor is pleasing to the eye and the setting is beach oriented as you would expect. We did have trouble with the living room light switch (push/ turn button dimmer), my husband said it was me. Because we do not like to eat out all our meals, the kitchen improvements made it convenient. Having a well supplied kitchen with all the appliances I could need was useful to both of us for cooking. I really liked the spacious counter top. I also loved the shower head. Thank you for making it a relaxing place to spend time in Port A.

  We had a great time very accessable to whatever Island feature you choose to do. Caught fish in the morning and cooked it up in the condo that evening. We'd definately stay there again.

  I stay here a few times a year when I come down to the area for work. They upgraded their kitchen!!! This has always been a very clean, well kept, relaxing place to stay. They've completely gutted the kitchen, new cabinets, new counters, new appliances and now a DISHWASHER!!! This is great! Also, I think they got a new bed b/c it's so comfortable! This already amazing condo is now just that much better. More reason to want to stay here; these people know how to make guests feel great!

  Owner response: Thank you for both your recent visit and for staying with us in the past. YES - we have completely redone the kitchen including the addition of a new dishwasher.   This condo is phenomenal...great place for a getaway or for an extended stay. The kitchen was equipped with the necessary cooking tools. Very nicely decorated, had a his/her bathroom, was clean, and had a huge screen TV... great for viewing the olympic games! Had easy access to the beach, which was literally walking distances. The on-site pool was delightful for our evening swims. The condo was centrally located to all the eating establishments, shops and more! Totally enjoyed our stay...great place to celebrate our 31st anniversary!

  Listing accurate, not quite. Sleeps 4, not adults. Queen bed squeeks, hidabed matress did not look new and was thin. A former army friend said, "I can sleep on anything." He did and by midnight was calling it a "death trap." The next day went to Wal Mart and got an air matress. Two bathrooms was the selling feature for us. The wood floors were very nice but I would have spent my money on higher toilets and better beds. There is no door for the bedroom, been removed, hmm. I see why there are no pictures of the kitchen area (very small due to two bathrooms) and the outside of the building. Had I seen a picture of the building I would have recoginized it from our last visit to Port A. Never saw BBQ area. My girlfriend fell at the pool, hurt her back, it was slick, and the first step was not level. Dr. said nothing broken! I've stayed at building/condos nextdoor. Now done with these small condo rentals! Port A Brewing Co. has great food, beer, and service!! Trying something different next time, new houses in front of condo building are killing the view.

  Owner response: Hello Christopher, Not one time did you call and complain during your stay or even upon departure (and we do offer an after hour phone # so even at midnight we could have helped out). As far as we knew you enjoyed your stay. Now five days later we find a post on our VRBO listing. Our Condo does sleep 4 with 2 in the master and 2 in the living area on the sofa sleeper. Sofa sleeper mattresses are not thick and the one your friend slept on was new. You could have called the offic and requested an airmattress and they would have accommodated your army friend. If you don't communicate that you have a problem with something how can anyone try and fix it? We are sorry you did not like our toilets, we must say this is the first toilet complaint we have ever had and we will take it into consideration if we ever need to replace the toilets. I asked the resort and there was no complaint of any injuries at the pool the weekend you stayed nor was it reported to the office. We and others think our kitchen is perfect for the condo and there are pictures of it on the main website that was listed on your confirmation. Again we wish you would have let us know about any complaints because we are good about trying to make our guests happy. Hope you find the perfect place to stay next year and yes you are correct the Brewing Co is an awesome place.

  We have stayed here many times before, and will keep this condo on our "favorites" list for our vacations in the Port A & Corpus Christi area. Our kids love the pool area, and as parents we like to be able to see the pool from the condo. The beach is just a short stroll down the boardwalk, so it is easy to come & go throughout the day. The double bathrooms & showers make for a quick turn-around time for the family when going to or from the beach. We enjoy the TV & DVD player for relaxing with a movie after a day in the sun and salt air. We love this place, and can't wait to get back again soon!

  Great location and accommodations were perfect. I would pay 2x what this place went for. Property Mgr. went out of their way to ensure we got in after a late arrival. 4 adults and plenty of room. details show that the owner cares that his / her guests are comfortable. Note to owner....I would prefer the toilet paper go over the top vs. under the bottom but otherwise great weekend at the beach! God Bless you for sharing your treasure on the beach!

  This condo works more like a two bedroom because of the extra full size bath. We had 2 teenage girls and ourselves. The girls loved the BIG flat screen tv for their dvd's and the easy access to the beach. We liked the separate bedroom and the two separate air conditioning thermostats. We have stayed in various condo's in Port A but this is by far the most for the dollar. Use your extra $$ for the Seafood and Spaghetti Works Restaurant. yum Yes we will return.

  My dad and I stayed here while in port Aransas for a deep sea fishing trip. The condo is large for a one bedroom - has two baths, two TV's, kitchen, and pull out couch/bed. It is clean, relaxing, and has a great view. Plus we took home 60 lbs of fish.

  Stayed here for a few days during the week. VERY clean and very nice. I was there for work and it was really nice having the kitchen there and the back patio facing the ocean AND the pool. I will definitely be staying here next time I'm in town for work!
