Shell Seeker Cottage welcomes you and your family to enjoy a memorable time "at the beach!" Built in 1967 and recently fully remodeled, this cottage of modern design features 110 feet of pristine and private Lake Michigan beach just a few steps away, with multiple decks for entertaining and sunbathing.
The modern living area features a brand new large flat screen TV with advanced sound system and stereo equipment, gas fireplace, dining area and traditional board games for family fun. Wireless computer access is also provided.
The Master Bedroom has a new queen size bed with luxury linens, cable TV, closet and dresser storage with a peek a boo view of the lake. There are an additional two bedrooms with built-in bunk beds,top of the line linens, built in storage and closet areas. In the living area there is additional sleeping provided with a comfortable king size pull out sofa bed. The large renovated bath offers lots of storage, bath shower area and art deco tile.
The fully stocked, newly renovated galley kitchen has fabulous lake views, refrigerator, dishwasher, range and microwave.There is also a convenient laundry area. The basement storage area is packed with water toys and sand play items.
A large picnic table is located on the beach deck for outdoor dining. And did I mention THE BEACH. For the beach walkers of the group the Grand Haven Pier is a three mile walk south and the Muskegon State Park is a two mile walk north. The cottage is located on a private, 3 mile long road, just north of the famous Grand Haven Pier
Jet ski and boat rentals are available in Spring Lake and Grand Haven just a short drive from the cottage. Grocery stores and dining are also conveniently located. Don't forget you sunscreen!
The cottage is a 45 minute drive from the Grand Rapids Airport and a quick 15 minute drive from the Muskegon County Airport. Rental car facilities are located at both locations for your convenience.
Concierge service is available. Services include stocking the kitchen with your favorite foods before your arrival and private tours of local sites. Please let us know in advance if we can be of any assistance to insure that your visit is a memorable one.
