This is a brand new duplex built and finished January 2008. All the modern conveniences in the middle of "Gold Mining" territory. We are across the street from the World Famous Kern River,(this is where the Olympic athletes train for kayaking),on Sierra Way. A few miles North is the Giant Sequoias and a few minutes up Evans Road is Shirley Meadows, famous for skiing, snowboarding, tubing and sledding.
A unique vacation location, quiet and peaceful with beautiful mountain views. You can hear the babble of the river. Walk across the street to "Bubbles Beach" to the local swimming hole and enjoy the river and related wild-life. Great for bird-watching and June is butterfly season!
Next door is one of the finest Steak-houses, Cheyenn's Steakhouse and up Sierra Hwy is World Famous "McNallys" Steakhouse. The General store/deli is three doors north, so you don't need to bring anything but your clothes.
Come up and enjoy Nature at it's finest.
