My Favorite Beach House!!

My family was one of the first to have the honor of staying in Cape Anne. We rented it for 2 weeks and it was incredible! The moment I walked into the house I fell in love with it! It was absolutely gorgeous! My family had rented other beach houses before, but the thing that really stood out right away was the attention to detail. Each room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were made upon our arrival which was a thoughtful touch. My uncle, the "family chef" was very impressed with how well the kitchen was equipped. It was stocked with everything a "foodie" could possibly need. The two dishwashers were an added bonus and were great as we were a large group. There were also two washers and dryers so laundry was no problem! The living area upstairs was spacious, airy and bright, and the furniture was comfy. I loved taking my morning coffee out on the top deck and watching the sun come up over the ocean. Cape Anne offers something for everyone. The pool and hot tub are great when you need a break from the sand and beach. We spent a lot of fun times downstairs in the rec room playing pool and air hockey! I especially loved the little nook on the second level with the flatscreen tv and loveseat. It was the perfect quiet place to read or watch a movie. My 82 year old grandmother made the trip with us and the elevator made travel up and down stairs much easier for her. It also came in handy for large grocery trips and the transfer of luggage. :) I moved to the OBX a year and a half ago and one of the first things I did was to drive down "the beach road" and look for this house. My family had a wonderful time there and it still holds up as my favorite beach home. I would recommend Cape Anne to anyone looking for a special place to build family memories year after year.

We Did Not Want to Leave

We did not want to leave. Left on 06/11/2011 for a stay in April 2011 We were there for our daughter's wedding and did not have much time to relax. I just wanted to sit on one of the many porches with my favorite book and enjoy the ocean breeze. Our granddaughter has CP and is in a wheelchair, so the elevator was necessity. Everyone loved having their own bathroom--my Mom and I loved having 2 dishwashers & 2 fridgs. We hope to go back to Nags Head this fall--we will have more time to relax then. ***Copied from another websitte

Not A Better Place at the Beach

The G. Family Pittsburgh PA Not a better place at the beach Left on 08/29/2011 for a stay in July 2011 We have been traveling to the Outer Banks for the past 5 years and have been using this same rental for every stay since we like it so well. The house is well designed for larger families and well equipped. Our parents get in and out of the house well with the elevator and the kids love the game room and the pool. The house is centrally located to stores, restaurants and activities. Nothing in the Outer Banks area is a far drive. This house is top notch and is well priced for what it offers. Already looking forward to next year's visit. **copied from other website

We just returned from the best family beach week ever!!! My family goes to the beach every summer and this is the first year that 16 of us were able to all be together. We were in Nags Head for my son's wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect. The house was exactly as the web site described it and the realty company did an excellent job of keeping us informed and responding to our issues. We were extremely impressed with the owners at responding very promptly to maintenance issues and working around the family coming and going. We loved the kitchen especially as we cook a lot....many serving dishes, double refrigerators and dishwashers, extra large kitchen table. My family LOVED the pool and the 1st floor recretional tables. Plenty of parking for all our cars and the drop in visitors with the wedding fesitivities. Great location!

We work hard to keep the house in the best condition possible for our guests. We personally inspect the house each week between rentals to make sure everything is in working order. We also love to see the generations enjoying a vacation together. We put the elevator and handicap friendly bathroom and bedroom in for just that reason. We also made the house wheelchair accessible so everyone could enjoy a vacation. We encourage emails so we can send you our personal website. You are a good home owner to your renters. I definitely would recommend Cape Ann and the other three homes to friends/relatives and would consider staying again. The house is decorated very beachy which we love. The dining room table was larger than most in width so we always had plenty of room. My two daughters stayed on the ground floor and loved the the whole rec level. The built in window seat added extra seating space and the children loved to play there. All in all, it was great - we miss it already!

Awesome!!! House was great. Reviewed on 07/29/2010 for a stay on 07/01/2010 The house was exactly how it was described and met nearly every expectation. It was clean, very well maintained and convenient to everything.

"We recently returned from San Francisco, attending our daughter’s wedding, where the subject of our rental of Cape May September (2008) came up again as one of the most rewarding trips we’ve ever taken, primarily because this house was such a wonderful place to find ourselves in. Our family reunion there was flawless –the appointments in the house, the proximity to the beach, the rec room on the lower level (one rainy day) and the general ease of renting from you all combined to deliver a truly marvelous week. I was thinking, as I often have, that I had meant to send a personal note along. Thank you for all your considerations - we surely enjoyed them!"

"Your house was really wonderful! In addition to everything listed, we really appreciated all of the additional creature comforts that we would not have initially considered: - 2 washers & dryers (we needed this more than we could have imagined) - 2 Refrigerators (both were full the entire trip) - 2 dishwashers (these 2 made the kitchen much more manageable) - Outside shower (kept the sand from the pool and the rest of the house) - Sitting area at the ocean-side window (ahhh, nice place to relax while the kids were napping) - Big kitchen table (we all could eat dinner at the same time!) - Excellent great-room (the kids loved the little overlook room) - Proximity to the supermarket (we went there every day) - Proximity to the beach (far enough away so the little kids wouldn’t wander by themselves, close enough to carry everything we needed) Your house was absolutely perfect!"
