I have stayed at this property 2 times now. I just can't get enough of this place, it's like your very own home in Mexico! The condo is very spacious, great for families, a girl’s weekend get-away or a romantic weekend for two. There are two rooftop pools, one private need I say more, and the public one looks over the beach which is literally a 2 minute walk. There is another great pool on the main level that looks like it's more for kids, so whatever suits you best! Playa Del Carmen has amazing food, and some of the best spots to eat are literally on the same street! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to come back and stay here!

Ok, where to start - Playa del Carmen is so cool! The websites don't give an accurate picture. It's Venice Beach meets Miami south beach in an authentic Mexican dream. Playa is it's own world with a unique feel and atmosphere - not overrun by all us over stimulated Americans. The crowds are mexican and european. They are relaxed and enjoying themselves with nowhere to get to quickly. 5th street is full of life and goes forever with everything from the typical trinkets stores to high end retail and it's own sky bar straight out of the Mondrian in West Hollywood. The restaurants and shops go as long as you care to walk down the boulevard closed to car traffic - everything from mexican to greek to Argentinian, tapas, you name it, even full service night clubs with dance floors open to the street. Very sexy. Then off on the side streets and especially where Pueblito Escondido is located, there are some fantastic restaurants. Piola is a block away - super authentic italian cooked by mexicans with germans behind the bar - hysterical. Lunch, drinks, late dinner, it's the best and the coolest crowd in the open bar facing the street. Order the frozen basil martini - best cocktail ever - trust me, just try it. Across the street is an authentic mexican restaurant with dishes I have no idea their name, but the boiled egg soup thing for breakfast will have you back every morning - spicy and crazy hot, but so good. Then there is PE. This condo/hotel is ideal for Playa. tucked off the business of 5th street and beyond the neighborhood is super chill and you walk to the beach in 30 seconds, literally. Take a dip and walk back for a cocktail at the roof top bar at the infinity pool. This is a penthouse unit so it has secure roof access directly from the unit. The roof is a series of semi-private decks and small private pools. Fantastic for meeting people or falling asleep in the sun - whatever moves you at the moment. The unit itself is fully stocked and a perfect haven to escape to. Well appointed with high end furnishings, full kitchen, cable, internet... Seriously, your on the Mexican rivera, do yourself a favor don't turn on the TV and don't even ask for the internet code. We were there in May and it was warm to toasty. No complaints at all - loved it - but at night you will want to close the sliding glass door and turn on the AC. There were four of us in the unit and we still had a bed to spare so bring your friends and soak up the whole scene. Do it - go Playa!

This place is fantastic! Perfect for a family who wants a relaxing vacation in Mexico. It has its own private pool on the roof! And it's right in front of the beach and walking distance to the hipster nightlife of Playa del Carmin. There are 2 bedroom and a lot of common area. It's clean, well-built, friendly staff, great restaurant for brunch a little ways up the street. Also, there are NO cartel drug dealer in the complex to kill you, not one.

When I think of Mexico, I think of Playa. When I think of Playa, I think of the private rooftop pool. I then think of sunshine and relaxation. There is also a delicious breakfast place 20 steps across the street and an amazing pizza place 30 steps up the street. To make things that much more difficult, the beach is 15 steps away, with the softest white sand, and a vista so sensational you will never want to get up to put your flip-flops back on. The downtown has fabulous mexican food, shopping, nightlife, and high end restaurants. I miss Playa!

This is a beautiful condo just steps from the white sand beach, wonderful views, private pool, close to town for shopping and restaurants. The condo is beautifully decorated and comfortable, with friendly staff. We did everything from massages on the beach to amazing dinners out to swimming with the dolphins! A terrific vacation - we will go again. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful, spacious condo with an amazing private pool! Whether you're looking for peace and quiet or an adventurous party getaway, this place accomodates both. The condo is quiet and serene, yet the beach and nightlife are just steps away. Nearby restaurants are delicious and there's plenty to see and do. I definitely will be going back soon!!!

We had a wonderful trip to Pueblito Escondido! The views are stunning, and the location is perfect. The penthouse is decorated perfectly and is very comfortable for a group of friends or a few couples. It was so nice to walk up to the private pool, or have the option for the large infinity pool with bar. We are looking forward to our next trip back to Playa!

I have now been to Pueblito Escondido a couple times now and I highly recommend it. The 2-story home is beautiful and gives you the ability for privacy with a rooftop and pool, and also the option to be part of the community with another pool/bar option for all the residents. The location is walking distance to all of the local attractions which gives you a spot centrally located to view and visit all the Playa del Carmen attractions. I will be going back again in the coming months.

This place really is as awesome as the pictures. The private pool is great for reading and other peace and quiet, and the shared infinity pool and rooftop bar are perfect when you want a little more action. It's a close walk to anything in town and just steps from the beach. We loved it. A lot.

Just came back from a fabulous week in this Playa del Carmen condo. This place is fantastic. It's located on a perfect white sand beach and is walking distance to all the hot restaurants and bars on 5th Ave. The condo is very modern and beautifully decorated. Immaculately clean. The private roof desk, private pool and infinity pool are amazing. Highly recommended. I'll be back!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this condo. It is in the perfect location – near the beach, slightly off the beaten path (so it’s quiet) but still just minutes walking distance from the best restaurants, shopping and night life in Playa. The place itself is gorgeous - very accommodating and comfortable with modern furnishings. And the rooftop private pool is sooo fabulous. This is the perfect place to go w/ friends, family or as a couple. I will definitely go back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pueblito Escondido. The condo was clean and the amentities were 5-star quality. You are next to the beach (5 minutes from the beach clubs) and walking distance to 5th Avenue where all the shops and restaurants are located. Room service is provided by the restaurant located in the building and they will even bring the food directly to the roof top pool. It was a great choice to stay here as opposed to a hotel as it provided a perfect mix of privacy and hotel quality amentities. We will be coming to Playa Del Carmen in the near future and will definitely stay here again.

Whether it was relaxing inside the air conditioned penthouse or sweating it out alongside our private pool, we enjoyed every moment of this place. When we wanted to mingle with others, we went to the rooftop infinity pool where we could swim right up to the bar order our favorite cocktail. The pool and surrounding lounge chairs also provided an amazing view of the ocean. There is an onsite restaurant where we enjoyed daily margarita specials while watching people go to and from the beach (which was literally steps away from our rental). The place offered everything we were looking for: Seclusion, spectacular views of the ocean, very nice amenities both inside and out of the penthouse.
