Enjoy a family oriented lake house on one of the most beautiful lakes in the country. A screened-in porch is perfect for having coffee in the mornings, while enjoying the beauty of the lake and view of the mountains. As you leave the screened-in porch there is a separate deck with table, chairs and an umbrella. On a carpet covered boathouse, there are two more tables with chairs, and an umbrella. The house is located in a quiet cove, which makes it perfect for swimming, fishing, and lying in the sun.
On one floor are three bedrooms, a bathroom, and living room with TV, VCR, and DVD player. The kitchen, half bath, den with TV, and screened in porch are located on another floor. There is an additional screened-in porch on the bottom floor.

Why the Owner Chose Lake Lure
Our family has owned houses on Lake Lure since 1950. After my dad passed away, my mom left the house to my sister and 3 brothers, and myself. Because I live within ten miles of the the lake, I am fortunate to enjoy the lake more frequently year round. My favorite restaurant is Point of View.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
There is not a more beautiful place to spend a relaxing vacation than Lake Lure. The no wake cove allows you to float or canoe safely. We provide plenty of floats, life jackets, a canoe, and 2 kayaks.

Oh my! This cottage is a little piece of heaven! It has everything you could need or want on vacation. Cozy house with a large kitchen for family dinners. Wonderful screened proches with comfortable furniture. Large deck on the boat house with a beautiful view of the lake and the quiet cove. My family made memories that will last forever. The ONLY bad thing about our vacation was leaving and we hope to return as soon.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
