Dome Home Perfect Place for Us!

Guest: Lizzie (Utah)
Date of Stay: 07/19/10 Review Submitted: 08/03/10

Rented this property as a "home away from home" for wedding which was held 2.5 miles away. Family and friends alike repeatedly expressed appreciation for the location, layout, amenities and convenience. Very clean, well maintained, and perfect for everyone to relax, visit and enjoy good food and company. Kitchen was exactly what we needed! Local phone line and internet access a huge plus!! Daughter loved toys and playpen/crib for her 11 month old baby! Plenty of parking for guests coming and going, and easy to find. Easy access to retail stores, winery tours, and airport. Guests from several states including Hawaii and Alaska and out of country suggested we get together here again soon! Proximity to the beach made side trips a real hit! Washer and dryer tremendously helpful with a baby too. Caution those who may have issues with stairs, outside ones only,as they are rustic style without railing. The wildlife in the area was a terrific bonus to those early risers and night owls. The decks on the house made if feel even larger! The views were amazing and we highly recommend this property. Thanks for contributing to a memorable milestone in so many lives. We hope to come back again soon.. The owners responded immediately to our calls and provided such perfect service. Thanks so much for everything.

Beyond our Imagination

Guest: sjl (Port St Lucie, Forida)
Date of Stay: 06/25/10 Review Submitted: 07/25/10

We recently stayed in this home from 6/25-6/30/2010, and the home was an absolute delight. We were visiting our hometown due to my father being terminally ill and needed a place large enough for 7 of us, along with a place were we could have some family quiet time, peace and tranquility. This home offered all of that and more. Set in the woods are barely visible from the road, the home was like staying in your own private park. The deer wandered on a near daily basis, bedding down in the barn, the eagles and hawks flew overhead, squirrels dashed around and we even saw some peacocks wondering occasionally. All of this, yet it was only about 15 minutes to a variety of grocery stores, restaurants and more. The photos definitely do not do the home justice. This home was beautifully maintained and had a gourmet kitchen with a six (6) burner gas stove and double ovens, furnished with adequate utensils and some items in the pantry. We had stocked up at the local grocery store and did all our cooking there. Our daughter even cooked a family breakfast for 20+ people and we were able to easily accommodate everyone. The downstairs contained the kitchen, a large open living area-with ceilings to the top of the dome and was surrounded by decks with beautiful views of the trees and mountains. In addition there were two bedrooms and a bath downstairs. Upstairs there were two more bedrooms and a bath, along with a den-play area, amply supplied with a toy box full of a variety of toys. WI-FI was available, as were a couple of playpens. The home says it sleeps nine, although if you had babies that could sleep in a play pen it may fit 10 or 11. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone staying in the Eugene area, particularly if you are looking for a peaceful place out of the rat rate. The owner was very helpful and easy to work with.

Wonderful vacation home

Guest: Emeliee (Seattle, WA)
Date of Stay: 04/09/10 Review Submitted: 04/11/10

I had the recent pleasure of staying at this vacation home while in Eugene for a rowing regatta. My teammates and I were seeking a rental house that could hold 8-10 of us fairly comfortably -- and I have to say, this absolutely exceeded our expectations. The house was exactly as the pictures depicted, the space was ample, the kitchen amazing, the home was incredibly clean. We were comfortable in all aspects of our stay, and couldn't be happier. Further, the owners are accessible and responsive. I would highly recommend this rental property.

We have stayed in many rentals, but have never stayed in one so comfortable, well designed, and with such attention to detail. We felt settled the moment we walked in the door. To be in a such a peaceful environment inside and out was an experience we will never forget. It was truly a home away from home and the owners couldn't have been nicer.
