Goofy's Grotto was great !!!!

It was our first time to Orlando, Florida and Disney. Wow, what a great experience. The owners, Stan & Maria were great. Very helpful and informative. The house and location exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean, lots of room for our 7 adults. The property manager was very accessible and even had our pool fixed on Christmas eve. Disney and Universal Studios were very impressive and worth the money and effort. Extremely busy at both parks, so I would recommend to go at another time, or if you have to go at Christmas, go to both parks early. We were at both parks at between 7 and 7:30am. The house is only 5 to 10 minutes away to Magic Kingdom at Disney. Restaurants, shops, mini-golf, Target, groceries only 5 minutes away. Very easy to navigate around Orlando. I used a GPS which I highly recommend. Also recommend Gatorland attraction. We had a great time there, especially if you have older children because they went zip-lining and had the time of their lives. Less crowds to contend with as well. Thank you Stan & Maria for adding to our vacation experience. I would certainly rent your vacation home next time. My favourite part of the the trip has to be the pool and hot tub. Can't beat swimming and tubing on Christmas morning, instead of shoveling snow back home in Canada.

I stayed at Goofy's Grotto in June of 2010 and absolutely loved my stay! The property is so conveniently located and well equipped- I can't recommend it enough. There are loads of sleeping areas, and the pool is fantastic!

I stayed at several locations before but this house topped them all it was the BEST. The house was very clean the owner had EXCELLENT communication it was near everything. This house was perfect. I am looking forward to another vacation at this house again. I have young children and play area isright aroung the corner. It's agreat family area/house to stay at!!!

Our family absolutely enjoyed staying at your beautiful home. It had all the amenities we could ask for and then some. Plenty of room for all of us. We all love the pool and the safety features for the kids. More than enough room for 8 people. Great location too! Close enough to everything yet far enough away to relax and enjoy the quiet neighborhood. My family and I will definitely be back again and would highly recommend your home to others! Home away from home!!! My family stayed at Goofy's Grotto and it was the best vacation ever. My husband was returning home from Iraq and wanted to be in a home-like environment for our Disney vacation. None of the hotels could offer what this property offered. Not even the one's for $300 a nignt. The home is comfortable, extra clean, filled with amenities and close to everything. I will "never" stay at another hotel again. We loved the property so much that we extended our stay. I don't know the last time I stayed away from my home and felt this comfortable. So comfortable, we are already planning our 2010 vacation.

I am very glad to have found Stan and Goofy's Grotto on CL. First, doing business with Stan was very efficient. Stan's email response was excellent. For me, doing business over the internet can be problematic centering around the trust issue with money and payments. With Stan, I grew to trust him based on his actions, his empathy and his word. Second, my wife and kids liked the decor of the home. It was very comfortable. I liked the close proximity to Disney World and the shops. We had a wonderful visit to Florida and it was made possible by a really nice and clean place. Thanks Stan and we would definitely come back to Goofy's Grotto!!! Thanks again Stan! John

This is the way to go! Beautiful home that comfortably slept 2 families, 8 total. Very close and convenient to the parks. Owners were very pleasant. Will ALWAYS check here first for vacancy before we stay in another hotel!

Wonderful home! By far the best private home we have stayed at in Florida. Very close to Disney, truly a 10 minute drive. CLEAN. We will check here first everytime. CLEAN. Did I mention Clean?? Owners are very pleasant too! Thanks!
