Brattleboro house description
Perched atop a hill on 300 private acres, this historic 1768 farmhouse has it all: peace, quiet, and complete privacy, with views over a hundred miles of Vermont’s Green Mountains. Graceful interiors balance authentic pre-Revolutionary ambience with modern amenities, including a cook-friendly kitchen with a fireplace and sublime views. Outside, the sweeping flagstone terrace is equipped with a gas grill for summer barbecues, and vast lawns invite cartwheels or a game of tag as the swallows swoop and dive overhead. Families will enjoy the separate kids' playhouse. Dogs will enjoy it all!
Explore our fields, woods and adjacent Sweet Pond State Park on foot, or drive just 15 minutes to Brattleboro’s offbeat downtown, with galleries, shops, a funky weekend farmers’ market, and a variety of restaurants showcasing local food.
Relax, and enjoy!

Beautiful Home in Vermont
Beautiful Home in Vermont
We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful farmhouse in Vermont. The house was beautiful and the newer addtion sun room very comfortable and pleasant. The kitchen well stocked with great pots and pans. Four fireplaces. Close to downtown brattleboro. We went on a walk to Sweet pond state park and saw show horses in the fields and Llamas in the barn!

We had a wonderful time at this charming antique farmhouse. The house itself was comfortable and the most pleasant surprise was the incredible views of the distant hills each morning. The property around the house was beautiful and inviting for walks and hiking in the woods. Very relaxing.
