Welcome to BLUE GROUSE BAY. A wonderful privately owned rental accommodation right on the shores of beautiful Okanagan Lake. Located in a quiet rural area on the west side of Okanagan Lake just 15 minutes from downtown Kelowna and five minutes south Of Okanagan Lake Resort. This one of a kind lakefront property is like having your own private resort. Making it a perfect location for visitors seeking tranquility, family fun and a place to recharge. Come and share in the magic of our Okanagan summers and create memories to last a lifetime.
This lower level two bedroom suite of our custom designed Craftsman style home includes 1000 square feet of living area and 500 square feet of covered patio and private entrance. It offers a stunning 180 degrees view of the lake and the surrounding mountains with endless places to just sit and take it all in. There is quick access to 85 feet of private waterfront. The lakeshore area has 1800 square feet of manicured lawn, beautiful landscaping and a fire pit. The large dock with boat moorage for one boat is suitable for swimming, sunbathing, diving, boating and fishing. A canoe is available to guests as well.
This air conditioned lakeside suite includes two bedrooms. One with a queen-size bed and the second has a double bed and a single bunk on top. There is one good-sized bathroom with shower. All bed linens, bath towels, hand towels, and face cloths are provided as well as shampoo, conditioner and soap. Just bring your own beach towels. The kitchenette has a full size fridge, microwave, electric griddle/frying pan, hotplate, toaster and coffee maker, as well as dishes, cutlery etc. Just bring your own groceries. The main living area (open to kitchen with 10 foot ceilings and large floor to ceiling windows) includes a dining table, queen sofa bed, fireplace, flat screen cable TV, DVD and stereo system with CD player. There is also a gas barbecue and in-suite washer and dryer.

Why the Owner Chose Kelowna
We chose this two acre lakeshore property over twenty years ago because we wanted our children to enjoy all the wonderful experiences that come with growing up on the water. Its hard to put into words but there is something magical about the combination of children, the lake and an Okanagan summer. We loved the peaceful lakeshore setting and the close proximity to downtown. It has been a labour of love and hard work getting the property to what it is today. We built the house in 2001 and have been renting to guests since 2003. We love our lake house and enjoy sharing with our guests, many who come back year after year.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The benefits of our rental property is the beautiful setting with a 180 degree view of the lake and the mountains. It's like staying at your very own resort. Because we have another residence and keep the main floor of the house strictly for our own use, you never need to worry about sharing the property with other renters. The suite is very bright and tastefully decorated, It is the lower level of the house which has its own private entrance and all the comforts of home. There is boat moorage for one boat which makes it perfect for those guests wanting to bring their own boat or wishing to rent a boat during their stay.

Dave & I have lived in Kelowna all of our married life(38yr) Dave, a born and raised Kelownian, formerly a Phys Ed teacher/counsellor and entrepreneur keeps busy golfing, helping out family and friends & playing hockey (its no secret he lives to play hockey). Myself, formerly a primary teacher, enjoys gardening, golfing, decorating & spending time with family & friends. We have three wonderful grown children and two beautiful grandchildren. Together we love to travel, get together with family & friends, cheer on our WHL Kelowna Rockets and of course spend time at 'the lake'. We love living in the Okanagan & take great pride in our 'lakehouse' We hope that you will stay with us and enjoy all that Blue Grouse Bay & the Okanagan has to offer. Like many of our guests you'll want to keep coming back year after year.

Wonderful place to get away. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Owners very accomodating and welcoming. We almost felt like we were visiting family. The list description and photos were accurate. I would reccomend this property to others.
