Located in the Northstar At Tahoe Resort. One of the top rated year round resorts in the United States. Ski Magazine ranks Northstar as the sixteenth(16th) best resort in North America with the terrain park ranked second, family programs ranked fourth and the Village ranked number one in California.
Located eight miles from Lake Tahoe beach and activities and seven miles from the historic town of Truckee. Skiing, snow boarding, golf, tennis, hiking, mountain biking, recreation center, fitness center, game room, ice skating(roller skating in the summer), swimming and more all located within the Northstar Resort. Northstar bus system picks you up at the house and brings you to and from the new Northstar Village, recreation center or golf course. Approximately twenty minutes to Nevada State Line gambling and entertainment.
Lower floor has main master bedroom(queen bed), great room, 1/2 bath, wet bar and gourmet kitchen. The great room has a beautiful view of the open forest area out back. The entertainment unit comes complete with a 61" flat panel television and surround sound system(including an I-Pod player). Recreation center with full amenities in the Northstar Village. Recreation center is available at a fee of $2 per day per guest(maximum 10 guest per day) and comes complete with swimming pools, exercise room, weight room, tennis courts, pool table, ping pong table, air hockey and video games. Spa services are also available at the recreation center and in the Northstar Village.
Walking distance (about 1/2 mile) to the new Northstar Village with ice/roller skating, restaurants and shops.
Northstar ski area has 88 trails, beginner through advanced, accessed by 19 lifts. The mountain has five terrain parks and two superpipes. Other ski area amenities include ski and snowboard schools, cross-country ski and snowshoe cemter. Rental equipment and demo centers, licensed child care for children two or older. Northstar has excellent snow making equipment to help insure early season skiing and snowboarding. Snowplow service provided for driveway and additional parking pad in the winter.
