Located eight miles from Lake Tahoe beach and activities and seven miles from the historic town of Truckee. Northstar bus system picks you up at the house and brings you to and from the new Northstar Village, recreation center or golf course. Walking distance (about 1/2 mile) to the new Northstar Village with ice/roller skating, restaurants and shops.
Northstar ski area has 87 trails, beginner through advanced, accessed by 17 lifts. The mountain has five terrain parks and two superpipes. Other ski area amenities include ski and snowboard schools, cross-country ski and snowshoe cemter. Rental equipment and demo centers, licensed child care for children two or older. Northstar has excellent snow making equipment to help insure early season skiing and snowboarding. Snowplow service provided for driveway and additional parking pad in the winter.
