This was our first trip to Lifestyles. We have been to several all inclusive resorts in Punta Cana and Mexico and so far this is my favorite. First thing, Reed and Lisa are wonderful to work with! I was very leary to rent from individuals as opposed to an established resort. After many emails and calls to Reed prior to booking I was pretty sure that this guy was ok. He responded quickly and honestly to all my concerns. Upon arrival we were picked up at the airport by a guy holding a sign with our name on it. We were driven to the resort in an older van that did not have air. We opened the windows and that was ok. The driver did not speak English but got us to the resort with no problem. At reservation we were offered a drink (Bacelo Rum and Coke mmmm). We received our gold bracelets and paid the agreed upon amount for the AI . To us the gold bracelet was key. Guests with other colors did not receive the VIP perks we did. We asked about hard liquor in the Villa and were told that we could not get it until the next day. We got to-go drinks at the bar and headed for our Villa. There was beer and soft drinks in the fridge. We did receive the hard stuff the next day and every day after. We stayed in a 3 BR 3.5 bath Villa. From driving around in the golf cart that we were promised and received immedatly upon arrival, I thought that the Villa we had was probably one of the smaller, older Villas. My husband and I loved it. The other two couples thought it was a bit dated. It was plenty big enough for the 3 couples. The air worked great in the bedrooms. No air in the common areas but that was ok as we had the doors to the pool open and there were ceiling fans that kept the air moving. We loved our secluded back yard, pool and veranda. We spent the first few days hanging at Harmony beach. LOVED IT! We got a huge cabana with cusioned chairs, sofa and bed overlooking the ocean. It had a great bar, nice lunch area and good service. On day 3 Harmony Beach was closed for renovations and we were forced to go to Serenity Beach. It was even more beautiful, had even better service and food. Both of these VIP beaches were fabulous! Weather was great, awsome storm one night that we watched from our covered veranda. Many nice restaurants, food was plentiful and varied much from great to so so. Make reservations early as not all restaurants are open every night. Can't wait until it is time to call Reed for our next trip!

Four adults and four children spent one week in a five bedroom villa booked with Reed and Lisa. The accommodations and service were great! Our favorite part of the week was by far the two V.I.P beach areas which require gold wrist bands to enter (which you get booking through Reed and Lisa.) The service and amenities at Harmony Beach and Serenity Beach were great! The kids (ages 13, 12, 11 and 4) all enjoyed the day spent at Ocean World and a lot of the activities offered throughout the resort. Not to mention the convenience of having our own pool! We would definitely recommend and plan on returning in the future. We have rented many villas in the Caribbean but this experience was unique as it allowed us the opportunity to stay in a private villa with a pool but still have all the amenities of an all inclusive resort. We would return and will definitely book with Reed and Lisa; they are professional, prompt and extremely efficient!

Everything was as advertised. The resort was beautiful. The wait staff were very courteous and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast cooked in the villa daily. The VIP treatment was excellent and we were able to enjoy amenities others without this status did not receive. Would recommend & return!

Amazing time, fabulous food, courteous staff, perfect beaches!! We travelled with 5 people total. There is lots of space in the villa so you never feel cramped like a hotel. The private pool is great for hanging out if you want to get away from the crowds. That being said, the VIP beaches are never packed and you can always find a bed/beanbag chair any time of that day. You don't need to get there at 8am to secure a good spot. The food was great. We ate at a different a la carte restaurant every night and each place was terrific. Definitely recommend this location to all travelers.

I can not say enough about how great a trip we had. The villa that we rented from Reed and Lisa was exactly what we had expected and then some. From the arrival at the AP to the trip back. The villa (3 bedroom/3 1/2 bath) with private pool was exceptionally clean and well maintained, including the pool. We received excellent customer service from our early discussions with Reed and Lisa to the service at the resort. Everyone at the resort was extremely pleasant and could not do enough for us - always smiling and offering assistance or guidance. Our Villa was well stocked and we were visited each day by someone from VIP services to ensure that we had everything we needed from juice and water to our favorite alcoholic beverages. Morning breakfast was excellent and our Maid Mariska was fabulous and very pleasant. Pool was cleaned each day by a "pool boy". Dinner reservations were all taken care of on day one by VIP services and meals were very good and service was good as well and exceptional in the Dominican Restaurant. We enjoyed having a golf cart and used it frequently - little small for six people but we certainly managed to fit without too much trouble! The beaches - Serenity and Harmony and VIP World were delightful and there was always a lounge available for relaxing. Wifi worked well at the sports bar, VIP World and the beaches. Service at the beaches and bars was great - always someone there to offer to get you a drink. I would recommend, and have already, this as a vacation spot to friends and family. I am ready to book next years trip and will do so again with Prestige Worldwide Vacations (Reed and Lisa). Thanks Reed and Lisa for introducing us to the lifestyle vacation resort that you "Only Tell to Your Best Friends!" Patti Elich

The villa was probably one of the older ones, but very clean. Staff was excellent. Food was wonderful except for one local fare which was new to facility and probably needed some staffing. The beaches and pools were wonderful. Excellent and safe place for children, as we had 5 on trip from ages 10 to 3.

First of all, I looked at this place and thought, there's noooo way it's as good as they say it is for this price. Reed was wonderful to talk to and calmed all of our worries and boy were we wrong...this place was everything and more! You may read some things on travel sites and reviews from other renters, but if you go through Reed and Lisa you will NOT be disappointed...the staff treats you like gold, the food is awesome, the drinks are free - flowing, the accomodations are wonderful, and they truly want you to have an amazing time. We spend most of our time on Serenity Beach which is closed off to members only (which is the status you are given if you book with Reed and Lisa) and it was totally amazing. There were maybe 10 other people on that beach and they had so many hammocks and beds to lay on looking out over the ocean it is beautiful. We made some great friends down there and had a ton of fun! It was our honeymoon and my birthday, so on the night of my bday we went out to dinner at one of the VIP restaurants. They came out with an entire cake and sang to me...my husband had no idea it was happening either; earlier that morning someone came around to ask us about our vacation and how it was going, and we just mentioned that I was celebrating my birthday. Come to find out he took care of letting the restaurant know so they had something for me (with icing saying Happy Birthday on it). The welcome party was a blast with all the entertainment and dancing. It is a must, for us anyways, that we stayed in the villas because having our own pool was awesome. The other pools on the premesis close at 7, and majority of the time we wanted a dip after we came back from dinner. We tried the Waterfalls excursion (1/2 day) and it is well worth it if you like adventure. We also did Ocean World and swam with the dolphins and sea lions. If you are looking for a relaxing and fun, laid back vacation...this is it. Go through Reed and Lisa...they hook you up and are the best renters to rent it from. Had a blast, and we definitely want to go back maybe in a couple of years with our friends.

I went to this amazing resort 2 weeks ago. It was absolutely breath taking it was everything I imagined it to be. The service, staff and locals were really nice and accommodating. I'd definitely go back again. Ocean World was also a nice added touch. We got to swim with the dolphins and they also offer snorkeling and a host of other water sports. They also offer a host of water sports at the resort. We did the Big Mable and Parasailing. Others in our party did the banana boat, snorkeling and kayaking. Thursday night show at Ocean World was really nice! The food was good some of the restaurants that I would recommend would be Bellini Chicken Parm and Veggie Pizza was awesome, The hookah lounge called The Spot Was very nice and chic! Jazz the gourmet restaurant served really good filet mignon and Lamb chops! Also serenity beach was relaxing and beautiful. Harmony beach as well they have swinging beds! Overall our villa was spacious, clean and met all of our expectations. We all loved the private pool. It's definitely a resort that is kid friendly and could easily be a family trip.

Just got back from my very first trip to the Dominican Republic and although I have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts in the past, Lifestyle Vacation Resorts was by far the best experience ever! We definately enjoyed our 3 bedroom villa with all the amenities. The weather, beaches, food, liquor and staff were incredible. I definately felt pampered there. The shareholder, Reed, made sure all my needs were met and my concerns answered. I would definately recommend staying here and booking the Reed and Lisa because you will definately get VIP treatment. Booking thru other methods will not give you the same experience, as I have read through others experiences through Trip Advisor. Also, please remember this is a 3rd world country where most people live in poverty so staying at the Lifestyles Resorts is like staying at Four Seasons in the United States. If you come with that mindset and attitude then you will have a great time. Tip: Eat at Azul, Jazz and Simply Gourmet Restaurants!!
Owner response:Thanks for your review! It was nice that you made friends with some owners during your visit and were able to eat at Azul with them, because this is an owner’s only restaurant! We look forward to helping you with your return trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lifestyles and would like to go again. We loved having the swimming pool in the backyard, breakfast cooked daily, the many meal and drink choices, being on the beach and the alcohol delivered to our villas. We really enjoyed our waterfall tour, swimming with the dolphins at Ocean World and the availability of activities. We had a group of 21 and even the complainers couldn't come up with any major issues. Reed and Lisa were great to work with and I highly recommend them without hesitation. They were very attentive, addressed any concerns I had, quick to respond and the pricing was quite reasonable. The pictures were an accurate reflection of the villas and the resort. It was so nice having the gold bracelets as it does make a difference and gives you access to more exclusive areas on the resort. Many thanks to Reed and Lisa for a wonderful vacation!

What can I say?!1 Reed and Lisa were great to work with in planning a vacation, which was a my trip to the Dominican. There were a total of 6 in all, w/ 2 flying on mid-week and Reed, along with Lisa couldn't have been more accomodating!! There were numerous changes in within my party and they were patient and gracious with all of that! The house was gorgeous, as was the resort as a whole. The people working on the resort were also wonderful! From the concierge, to transportation, restaurant staff and in particular our maid, enhanced our vacation. I would recommend Reed & Lisa to anyone, who's thinking about traveling to the Domincan and in particular, Puerto Plata. I'm sure Ieft some people out, but, not pursposefully. Again, thankyou Reed & Lisa!!

My Husband and I brought our three children to the Dominican Republic for vacation during the last week of March. After carefully researching the different options, we decided to rent from Reed and Lisa. We are so glad that we did! After a few hiccups (being placed in a three bedroom when we reserved a four bedroom) everything fell into place. Our four bedroom villa was beautiful, the service was fantastic, and the location could not be better. We loved the exclusive beaches and pools, the restaurants were first rate, and everyone had a smile for us. Of the excursion we took, the highlights were ziplining and snorkeling at Paradise Island. We highly recommend this resort, and we really believe that renting from an owner is the way to go. It was great to be able to reach out to Reed and Lisa to have our issues resolved, their prices were much better than many of the other options we saw, and Reed and Lisa are lovely and responsive people. I would highly recommend them!

Our family is just back from our vacation and would recommend this vacation to others. There was 9 of us and we stayed in a 5 bedroom villa. The villa was perfect! It was exactly what we saw in the pictures. We took full advantage of all of the different pools and beaches liking each one for different reasons. The people at the resort were the friendliest we have ever encountered on a caribbean island (and we've been to many!). We don't have a single complaint and will visit again. I also have to say that working with Reed and Lisa on our vacation plans made this one of the easiest trips I've ever planned. Everything was exactly has they had described - no surprises! I highly recommend planning your vacation with Reed and Lisa!

A group of women friends (and family) took the trip of a lifetime to the Dominican Republic--none of us had been there before. We absolutely loved the villa and the resort itself. It was a beautiful place to get away and relax, enjoy the sound of the ocean and meet people from all over the world. The pools were beautiful, but we spent much of our time around our own private pool. The Lifestyles staff were very friendly and courteous--we felt like royalty. Our villa was very close to the ocean, so we had easy access to the beach bar--with great food! I would advise anyone else going as a large group, to insure that the all-inclusive liquor delivery include more than 8 beers for 7 beer drinkers. Thanks to Madeline, our refrigerator was restocked more regularly. We had a great time and sure hope to go back again sometime.

This price may sound too good to be true, but it is totally legit. The villas are part of a larger all-inclusive resort (you pay that fee for the all-inclusive services on arrival), so there are many beaches, pools, restaurants, and bars to choose from. We never left the resort complex, because our intent was to relax to the max, but there are all sorts of excursions available from the resort excursions office through local vendors. The resort staff was gracious, friendly, and helpful. You will find many listing for properties on this resort, but I would recommend you rent from Reed and Lisa. They were great to deal with, took care of everything, answered all our questions, and were quickly available by email or phone. Everything was exactly as they had described - no surprises. And a big plus is that their level of membership in the ownership of the resort will open doors for you - or more specifically, allow you to use beaches, bars and restaurants that other guests don't have access to. Having the golf cart was a real convenience, although it was also fun to walk around the various neighborhoods of the complex. The grounds are beautifully planted, clean and well maintained. The food was delicious - I'd recommend you be a bit adventurous and, for example, order the Grouper Vera Cruz or the BBQ Pork Ribs instead of the just the tacos at the Mexican Restaurant. You will need to make a dinner reservation for any restaurant except the buffet, so you know your table will be ready when you arrive. The resort is truly gratuity free - no one who helped made us feel at all like they expected a tip. We did tip our wonderful maid (who also cooked us breakfast every morning), and she was absolutely delighted. If you want a place to hang out, be pampered, and not have a single worry for your whole vacation, this is the spot. It would also be a great place for a family reunion - easy to come together, but so many activities to keep everyone happy. This resort felt much less crowded than a cruise ship. We had so much more private space - including our own pool - and every bedroom in the villa is en suite and with a balcony or large windows. So for the price and the offering, I'd say it is a much better deal than a Caribbean cruise. I am recommending this property to friends and family, and specifically Reed & Lisa as the people to rent from.

Just returned from the resort and could not be happier with the accommodations. Went with a large group and stayed in a 4 bedroom villa. Before going, we all thought that the place seemed too good to be true, but when we were greeted at the check-in with cocktails and cigars, we knew we were in the right place. The villa was beautiful, having our own pool was great, and the food and drinks were excellent. It was also so nice to have the VIP bracelets and golf cart. January 2010: My husband and I have been traveling the last week of January for the past 19 years. This was our 2nd trip to the Lifestyle Holiday Vacation Club. Our first experience was in 2009 as guest members under a gold membership. The property and amenities were beyond comparison of any other accommodations we have ever had! After making a conscious decision not to become members, we decided to put the different level of memberships to the test in 2010. We intentionally searched out a Platinum Supreme Member, which in turn lead us to Reed and Lisa. I knew after the first call from Reed that we would not just be a business transaction.I explained that this would be a return trip and what we were looking for. Both Reed and Lisa took every step to ensure us that our expectations as guest under their membership would be met. All the arrangements were handled from their end from the reservation to transportation to and from the airport, and everthing in between. Reed and Lisa were very accessible, and made sure we had a representative name on site as well as their personal phone numbers. The villa fell short of our expectations based on our experience the year before. Our concerns were voiced though the rep as well as Reed and we were moved to a 2 bedroom Presidential Suite . This suite was breath taking from the furnishings to the spectacular views of the water and the beautiful grounds. The staff were a name badge that states"WE WORK FOR YOU". This is an understatement !!! We will return next year, and we will book through Reed and Lisa again. We had a wonderful time.

I would like to start out by saying ive done some pretty extensive traveling, but ive never been as impressed with an "over-all" experience as I was with the trip Reed and Lisa helped me plan. Ive had my fair share of bait-n-switch and other foolishness through the years so im always weary when im booking a new trip, but I have to say Reed and Lisa made my experience just fantastic from hello to goodbye. They helped me plan my trip and select an accomodation type that would best suit my party. Gave me an honest accurant description of the property right down to little personal advice about the area. The Lifestyle property is hands down one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The two bedroom Presidential was absolutely gorgeous. I especialy enjoyed the extra BENEFITS! we recieved by being guest of an Platinum owner. There was a guy with a name plate waiting for us at the airport. We had access to all of the V.I.P. owner areas like the V.I.P. world and V.I.P. beach, ALL the restaurants including the one you have to make reservations at, just to give you a hint into the quality the menus looked like regular menus but when you opened them they had lcd screens inside displaying the menu..WOW! All drinks including top shelf. There was nothing like laying on a super comfortable outdoor bed directly on the beach, fully waited upon. It was just simply excellent. I enjoyed DR and Lifestyle's property so much that I have already booked a second trip. If you where on the fence about rather you can trust Reed and Lisa, and/or the quality of Lifestyles property, I hope I was able to help you make your decession. If you were just browsing through gathering research when you happened upon my comment definatly book mark Prestige Worldwide, take it from someone who doesn't have an horse in the race. Feel free to e-mail me if anyone has any questions or concerns, Reed and Lisa have taken such good care of me and my family that it would be an honor to be able to share that with others. Thank you Reed, Thank you Lisa.

He did not let me down. They delivered on everything that they promised, respondly promptly to my emails, answered all of my questions, and offered some fantastic advice. At the resort we had a fantastic housekeeper that made perfect over-easy eggs and a wonderful omelette. The VIP beach was great, and the service their was excellent. We ended each day with a nightly dip in the private pool. What a relaxing vacation!

Reed and Lisa were excellent to deal with - accurate and honest in their information and quick to answer any questions we had. Lifestyles Resort is truly breathtaking. The service was outstanding, the food absolutely delicious, the drinks so yummy, and the villa was extraordinary! Having the golfcart made things even more fun too. Everything about our holiday was wonderful, but some of the extra special adventures we had with our two daughters were searching for magnificent sea glass on the beach each day, watching the sea horses gather around the anchor ropes on our snorkeling trip with the PADI crew (see the little booth down by the Tropical pool area), making our very own banana splits on BBQ nite at the CasaBlanca restaurant, and galloping up the lush hills on horseback (see the 'horseman' by the Tropical pool area). We will DEFINITELY book with Reed and Lisa again!

Our villa (#60) exceeded our expectations. The VIP status is a must, also a golf cart. The resort strives for happy vacationers, and does a great job. If relaxing is your goal, this is the place for you. Everything was as promised on the website, or better. From the original e-mail inquiring about the rental, to the check in, to the departure, everything went perfect. I would recommend this rental to everyone. One thing I want to point out though, the bottles of mama juana the sales reps at the villa gave us were confiscated by customs, because we didn't add any alcohol to them. So if you get any mama juana, make sure to have the bartenders add the alcohol or you cannot take them out of the country.

Reed, Just wanted to let you know we just returned from the DR and the resort was everything you said it would be and more. The landscaping surrounding the villas is exceptional. We had a 4 bedroom villa which was outstanding. The maid who cooked us our breakfast every day was a pleasure. The employees really go out of their way to give you whatever you ask for. They even gave us a bottle of Baileys after my wife told them she liked to have that in her morning coffee. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the property aroumd each villa which afforded us all the privacy we could ask for. The restaurants were great especially the Gourmet Restaurant. They even gave us an extra helping of filet mignon with our lobsters! You were a pleasure to deal with and it is refreshing to know that you can still get more than you ask for when dealing with someone over the internet. I have already recommended you to all of our friends and coworkers! I appreciate you being a man of your word. Thank you for everything.

Wow the trip was amazing! The resort is unbelieveable and the staff are so friendly and hospitable. The rooms were beautiful and I am planning on trying to get back in three weeks with the Mrs. Aaron, Williston Park, NY

We stayed in the villa for 5 nts, and it definitely was not long enough. The villa, the chef coming in and cooking breakfast, the private pool right outside the back door all was great. We especially enjoyed the people, who were very friendly and always willing to help you with anything. We will go back!

We just returned after a week's vacation and words cannot describe what a wonderful time we had. The villa we stayed in was fabulous not to mention the service we received from the staff. If you are looking for true paradise, this is the place to be!

Our villa vacation experience in the Dominican Republic was beyond belief! Our villa included a private pool, chef who cooked us breakfast every morning, and access to the most beautiful pool and beaches in the Caribbean. We can’t wait to go back and bring our friends and family with us! - Scott and Marianne Kranker, Los Alamos, NM
