- BUTTERFLY GARDEN In the Northwest corner of Rosemary Beach at West Kingston Road is an elaborate butterfly garden. This garden was conceived as a display garden that would emphasize the significance of the native landscape. A wooden walkway weaves through colorful plantings that lure butterflies. PARKS Common “green” areas are located throughout Rosemary Beach and provide places for reading, games, picnics and barefoot strolls, as well as outdoor events. These areas beach-side include the Western and Eastern Greens, South Barrett Square and Playground Park. Park-side, there is East Long Green Park (featuring a knot garden) and West Long Green Park (both with tree-lined sidewalks leading cyclists along the 30-A bicycle trail); North Barrett Square; St. Augustine Park (featuring an interactive children's fountain and seating space, this park is the location of many outdoor concerts); Rosemary Beach Butterfly Park and various small pocket parks along the boardwalk w/fountain

Just a short note thanking you for your hospitality during my stay. I was unaware that my husband was going to have to cancel his end of the trip at the last minute, and finding myself all- alone in a strange place at first had me a bit ‘depressed’. You were so sweet to call and check on me. Fortunately, you were able to help with restaurant reservations, sightseeing ideas, and my visit to the Silver Sands Outlet mall was an all day extravaganza! Truly, this was perhaps the best 3 day mini-vacation I have ever- experienced…and make sure to recommend Destin Chophouse as the best restaurant in the area to everyone. Ok, I’m convinced! My husband and I have become Vrbo-addicts! We have always stayed in nice hotels, and this is our first experience in staying at someone else’s vacation rental. I expected "just okay" furniture. "Just Okay" housekeeping and Pictures from the website that just were way off from reality. …NOT!! This cute little carriage home and private pool were just the ticket to what proved to be an unbelievable setting for our 3rd anniversary…even with baby Juanita along for the ride! I absolutely loved the accommodations and the community, and one day we all walked about 3 miles down 30a and just looking at the many fabulous beach homes we cannot wait to return again! When we get back to Dallas, I promise we will call and see how we can book the main house for next year, as I want to bring a couple of my girlfriends and their families along…what a hoot!. It is indeed rare that I take the time to write a letter of recommendation, but in your case it is well deserved. Your carriage house at Rosemary Beach was such a pleasant experience we will recommend it to all our friends and family! When you told me I could get 10% off for ‘booking at once’, I thought maybe this was just another “come-on” for something too- good-to-be-true, but after researching your website and the area, we found your pricing to be outstanding, and the accommodations proved to be very quaint and cozy for our visit! The kids loved the daily choice of the private pool or the beach ( most days that meant ‘both”), and we were most impressed by this wonderful community. Lastly, let us thank you for your patience in handling our payment schedule, as an untimely job loss forced us to break our rental payments into 4 installments. You and your company are fine examples of the kind of personal service still available in this wonderful country.
