This stunning, colorful, mosaic filled 4 br/4ba home with a separate 1 bedroom guest house, sits right on one of the most glorious white sandy beaches in Puerto Penasco, and is tucked in the quiet, family oriented community of Playa La Jolla. The rental includes the domestic services of Rosa, who is the maid/cook for the property. She comes out to the house daily to make sure that you have everything you need to make your stay truly perfect. She is a wonderful cook, and will delight you with some delicious meals, if you are interested. (Ask for details).
The main house centers around a magnificent octagonal shaped Great Room, topped with a brick dome 'boveda' ceiling. Snuggle up on the huge, down-filled sectional and enjoy the beach views, watch a DVD on the flat screen or connect your laptop to the internet via a local WI-FI connection. Step out of the Great Room and onto the the circular patio which overlooks beach. Here you can enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean, as you watch the waves roll in. This is the perfect place to enjoy a margarita as you take in the dramatic evening sunsets. Free wireless internet! Standard electricity...no more solar or generator! De-salinated, purified water throughout!
Each bedroom has it's own colorful Mexican decor, and is filled with comfy pillow-top beds, lovely linens and best of all, their own bathroom. Two master bedrooms have king size beds and ocean views. The third bedroom has a queen. The 4th bedroom is a bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds(with one lower bed being a full) , and is painted with an underwater theme complete with glow in the dark fish on the walls! Kids just love it! The kitchen is fully equipped, including purified water throughout. Artistic touches adorn all the rooms. A private courtyard connects the main and guest house, and is a relaxing, lush area filled with colorful mosaics, a fireplace and a bubbling fountain. The separate guest house has a full kitchen, living room (with a queen pull-out sofa), a separate bedroom (queen)and it's own bathroom. It is decorated in a fun, colorful Mexican style! It is the perfect haven for grandparents or for families with young babies!
Playa La Jolla has a beautiful community pool overlooking the ocean, as well as a tennis court, for your use. Our quiet, sandy beach is perfect for swimming, fishing, kayaking (available for rent at Ole'), snorkeling, dolphin watching, and of course, long walks and shell collecting. If you walk South, you can go for miles, and if you head North you will come to the tip of the estuary, an ecological sanctuary that fills and empties twice a day with the tides. It is a great bird nesting area, and is home to a local oyster farm, where you can buy the freshest oysters ever! On site property management for your convenience.
Casa de Ole' is a 20 minute drive into the town of Puerto Penasco, where you will find delicious restaurants, fun Mexican markets for shopping, and anything else you may need. It is scenic 4 hour drive from both Tucson and Phoenix (with 3 hours of that driving being in AZ. It is the perfect house for family or friend reunions! Don't miss Casa de Ole'! I booked this property to surprise my parents, brother and I to celebrate my parents25th anniversary - I could not have been more pleased with my choice! The property was beautiful and incredibly close to the ocean. My dad and brother enjoyed the use of the kayaks and my mother and I loved reading on the patio in the most comfortable chairs! We all enjoyed having Rosa there to cook delicious meals! Could not have found a more beautiful location to help my parents celebrate this occasion!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My girl friends and I rented this house because we wanted a relaxing, peaceful place to get away for the weekend. This house was everything we wanted and more---it is right on the water and the view of the ocean is amazing. The cook Rosa is so sweet and makes the best food. It was wonderful having her there! The house iteslf is terrific. It is adorned with beautiful mosaics and bright fun colors. The house has its own de-salinization system so we didn't have to worry about water either. I would definitely recommend this house--my girlfriends and I had a terrific time.Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Five friends and I stayed at Casa de Ole and had a fabulous time celebrating our 30th birthdays. The beach is literally your backyard, and the house is adorable. The mosaics had a personal touch, as does names for the different bedrooms. Rosa, the cook, was so pleasant and accommodating and the food was to delicious. We're already planning on going back to celebrate our 40ths!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This was hands-down one of the BEST rental experiences of my life. The house was not only less than 50 feet from the ocean (tides varying), but it also came with the sweetest, most amazing cook named Rosa who took care of us, picked up after us, and was generally amazing. The house has absolutely every amenity and is absolutely lovely. I have already recommended Casa de Ole to my friends and family that are planning to go to Mexico in May. Thank you so much Casa de Ole for a wonderful time with friends and a relaxing vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
