Ashbury Street Entrance - San Francisco Vacation Rentals This beautiful 2,000 sq. ft. luxury Edwardian flat has been fully updated with all modern amenities and decorated with a complimentary yet contemporary feel. A grand entry with stained glass and high ceilings opens to double parlors with a working fireplace. There are three bedrooms, each with comfortable queen beds and plush linens. The master bedroom has a private bathroom. The two other bedrooms share one "bath" room and two "water closets." There is also a queen sleeper in one of the front parlors that can be closed to create a fourth private room. The large eat-in kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and an attached laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer. The large dining room has a 2nd working fireplace and is large enough to seat 10+ comfortably. The property is bright, airy and truly a San Francisco gem in the tony Ashbury Heights area where famous celebrities and artists lived while in San Francisco, such as the Greatful Dead, Janis Joplin, Marilyn Monroe & Joe Dimaggio and many others! You won't find another property like it in San Francisco! Three doors down is a boutique corner grocery and wine bistro. Two blocks away is Cole Valley with its small-town feel where you can catch the "N Judah" Muni line into downtown (5 mins) or out to the beach (8 mins). In Cole Valley you'll find the best breakfast in San Francisco at Zazie's, or dine at one of our other fantastic establishments, including EOS, Grandeho Sushi, Boulange de Cole Valley, Bambino's pizza and pasta, Tully's Coffee, Burger Meister, Kezar Bar, Crepes on Cole and much more. Two blocks down Ashbury is the famous corner of Haight and Ashbury Streets and the Lower Haight district with all kinds of sights and sounds!
