Simply the best accommodations for $1400/ month in the Northern Hemisphere. Tomorrow, we’ll head back to Juneau, where it is still pretty cold, but alas it is time to return to the real world. Terri- it has been our pleasure getting to know this place these past three months, and having looked at a number of places here in Florida to spend next winter’s off- season, we plan on coming right back here. Terri- I have to admit, at first I was a bit put-off by your persistence in pursuing us as rental customers for a carriage house over a garage in some place we had never visited. But being fitness-fanatics, and your assurance that your home was just across from the community fitness center and near a pool made us take a closer look…so after much consideration and research, my friend Julie and I played rock-paper-scissors to see who would get the queen bed, and who would get one of the singles ( I should have stipulated best 2-out-of-3). Julie may have won the bet, but we both won when we discovered this unbelievable house! I think I gained at least 2 pounds during our visit, as all we did all day was wander from restaurant to bar to beach, and back, but yes, we did hit the Fitness center hard at least once a day….LOL…A special compliment to Suzanne over at the Tennis Center, who helped with a few pointers on our game, and she even joined us over at Shades one night for some merriment, but overall you deserve the credit for making this such a wonderful vacation.
