  Luv It. It was a romantic weekend away from the kids and it could not have gone better. This historic home is right in Downtown Boulder and we were able to walk to Pearl St. The guest suite; Beautiful , huge, luxurious, clean, very peaceful, private. We loved the fireplace and the bathroom was as good as any I have ever seen. The Schuh family handled everything. The booking was easy and they even accepted our Visa card. How fortunate were we to come to town and stay in one of the nicest homes in Boulder.

  Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

  I hate hotels. They are noisy, scary places with all sorts of crazy fees and taxes. The last hotel I stayed at had a combined "Tax" of 18.69%. With that being said, I love vacation rental homes and this is a good one. This home is fantastic in every way and we had the entire guest suite to ourselves. This is not a shared space like so many other listings. We had a private entrance and private bath and only saw the owners once in passing. Their entire attitude was to enjoy the space and leave it like you found it. What you will find is a totally luxed out guest suite that is part of a $Million dollar + home located right in D/T Boulder. They had bikes for us - a functional kitchen and a fireplace plus a washer/dryer. The place was super clean and beats a hotel any day. Good marks all of the way around. Easy to book !

Especially with kids, vacation rental homes make all of the difference. Having a washer and a dryer is so nice with kids. We don't have a pool, but you will find everything else.

  It was a lovely basement apartment , beautifully decorated, very clean and cozy. The owners are helpful, kind and warm. We had plenty of room for 3 of us. Walking distance to all the wonderful restaurants and shopping. The only downside was the control room for utilities is in the unit so is a bit of background noise at night, but did not keep us awake. I highly recommend this property. The listing was accurate and it exceeded our expectations.

  We had a great time in the Boulder area made even better by being able to stay in a place that felt like home away from home!! We had everything we needed for convenience and comfort and enjoyed being in such a charming neighborhood. We had a dog along and the close-by community park was a bonus. We also enjoyed our privacy while staying on this property. The guest suite is very nice and clean; it was a nice stay for a family of 4!

  This truly is a wonderful place to stay; private guest quarters beautiful furnished and with easy access to all Boulder has to offer. Visiting from San Diego for a long weekend with plans to make for our Daughter's wedding; four of us comfortably relaxed and enjoyed the well thought out accommodation. My future son-in-law cooked us all breakfast before we set off with our little dog walking easily to downtown Boulder. Great restaurants for any meal are all here. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace with a bottle of wine and some cheeses after a busy day wedding planning. Thanks again for a wonderful stay; wish there was availability for us in September when we return for the wedding:(

  We were looking for a quiet location within walking distance of all the fun Boulder activities and we certainly found it here! The apartment is exactly as described/pictured on the website and is indeed lovely and well-equipped. We had a wonderful week -- using our car only a few times. We have never stayed in a VRBO before, but we were very pleased by this first experience. Kelly & Richard were so respectful of our privacy. Thanks for a great time; we hope to return!

  I am a fellow VRBO property owner and found this listing as described on the site. The owner spent about 30 minutes with me showing me how they do it and I was surprised as o how much I was missing. I can see now how they are able to stayed booked most of the time. The unit is super clean and all of the furnishings are really nice. The house really is 2 blocks from Pearl Street and right in one of the best locations in Boulder.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

Many time a listing will say "near, or close to" and in reality the location is a half a mile away, or more. Our guests love to walk for coffee in the morning or not have to use a car for dinner. Also thanks for leaving the guest suite in such amazing condition. For a moment I thought our housekeeper Beddie had already been here !

  My review of this property is excellent. We found it clean, quiet and very comfortable - especially the bed. Richard was great to work with. I could not believe how easy it was to make the reservation and have everything go off without a hitch. We were even able to bring our dog Milo !

  Our stay at this property was a nice experience from the booking all the way through to the final checkout. The property managers are the owners which is very convenient if you have any issues. We needed a lightbulb and a kitchen broom and the response from our text was right away. We were even allowed an early checkin after the housekeeper texted us to let us know we could arrive at 1:30 instead of 4 PM. I think her name was Betty and she had the apartment prepared beautifully. It was obvious that a great amount of care was taken with everything in perfect order. We were always able to park right in front of the home without any hassle. The last hotel we stayed at charged us $18 a night to park our car ! My husband and I have stayed at other properties in Boulder but found this one is our new favorite.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

  I thought really- what can my husband and I add to this guest book that has not already been said. Other than one big ditto. Stayed for a week and everything was better than expected. Great house, great owners, not cheap - but worth it. Especially the bathroom, fireplace and washer - dryer. I have stayed at The Julien and we like this better for the privacy and location. CU and our daughters are right up the street and we would meet them on Pearl for coffee and late dinners. We will be back again.
