A great vacation in a great beach house!

We stayed at this beach house in July of 2011 and had a wonderful experience. When planning our vacation, we made the decision between a beach front house or saving a bit of money and staying across the street. We chose very well by renting this house across the street. The house is very nicely and simply decorated, impeccably clean and had all the ammenities that my family needed. It has four bedrooms that are comfortable and spacious, updated bathrooms (so clean!), a great kitchen stocked with all the kitchenware you would need for cooking, nice decks to enjoy the views and an awesome, enclosed outdoor shower (a must for sandy children). The house is in a great location not too far from both Surf City and the town of Topsail Beach. We rented bikes and enjoyed riding almost every day. It is just across the street from the beach and only one block from the sound. There are views of both. It is a very short and easy walk to both locations even for my 2 year old. This area of the beach is quiet and beautiful, but the sound is even more beautiful and has an access ramp that renters can use. The owner was very helpful and good to work with. We had a great week!
