This condo is wonderful!! Beautifully decorated and so close to the river and the Old Mill. Loved running on the river trail in the mornings. The home is well appointed with all that you need to cook meals. There is a grill outside by the hot tub. There is even detergent supplied for doing your laundry. We will be back!

We had a great week in Bend at the Old Mill Condo. The location can't be beat - and it's so easy to get up to the mountain from there. The condo was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and well-equipped and stocked. The owner was accessible and helpful if needed (but not hovering). We would definitely recommend this property!!

The condo is awesome. The location is perfect. And the owners were easy to work with, and were very gracious. There were some problems when we showed up, that the owners were not even aware about, but they were extremely quick in getting them cleared up. My wife and I were so impressed with their quick response that we look forward to staying there whenever we can on our trips to Bend. If you are looking for a great place in a great location then this is definitely the place to come!!

WE loved our stay in this beautifully decorated Condo. So well furnished. The hot tub at night drinking wine and looking at the stars was my favorite. Very quiet, loved walking the river trails, and the ease of shopping and restaurants. We walked down to the Mill District every evening. Loved it! We will be back every time we come to Bend!

We experienced several problems during our stay. First, our security checked was cashed despite the contract stipulating it would be either returned or shredded. The renter acknowledged it was a mistake, but still disconcerting. The night before the rental was to start we learned there would be no cable TV or Internet service. We tried to negotiate a solution but the renter stopped communicating with us. We went without these promised amenities. We learned during our first morning that the coffee maker didn't work. We went without this promised amenity. There was only 1 key. We were 5 adults with different daily activities. Having only 1 key was a challenge. Plus, the doors were self locking and we were often concerned about getting locked out. Some of the lamps were missing bulbs, had burned out bulbs, or just didn't work. The unit was comfortable, clean, and in a great location. I would have trouble recommending it.

Owner response:The guest is accurate in stating we deposited his deposit check. We hired a new rental assistant who was not aware of our policy on our nightly rental and when collecting the mail saw a check and deposited it. We are the ones that caught it immediately and called Mr. Kender to inform him of our error and offered to immediately refund the amount. 30 days prior to his stay we still had not heard from him regarding his final payment for his stay. We had changed all of our nightly rental homes from Broadband to Dish network so that everyone could enjoy free Blockbuster. 2 days prior to Mr Kender's stay Dish called and changed the date of our installation by 3 days and we had already cancelled the broadband service. Still having no confirmation from Mr Kender that he was in fact coming to Bend as we had not received final payment I was finally able to reach him by phone and informed him of the Dish change. He was very upset so I offered to do all the legwork to find him an equally beautiful place to stay using our locals discount which would be much cheaper than what he was going to pay. He again declined. Instead he wanted me to greatly discount the unit. Due to the amount of people he was bringing and the nature of his visit we did not wish to do that. We did give him a discount. WE only have one key at the condo so that guests always will leave it in the lock box. Every time we have left more than one key, inevitable it never get's left and ends up going home with someone or one person assumes the other has a key and we get calls in the middle of the night to come and let people that were locked out in. Mr. Kender did not call us and inform us of the coffee maker or another one would have been purchased and brought over immediately. As a matter of fact we didn't know until this review appeared. The light bulbs that were burnt out are the front porch lights, something that our maids never notice because they are there during the day. Upon seeing this review they were changed immediately, none of the house bulbs were out, and we now check regularly. The doors are not self locking.

Christmas in Bend

We just wrapped up a 2 night stay at the Bluffs condo over Christmas Eve and Day. The unit was simply terrific. beautiful and well appointed, excellent location, all instructions clear and all promises met! Just a wonderful experience!

Peak View Condo Amazing

To start, I think calling this rental a condo doesn't do it justice. I felt like I was in my home away from home. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. I thought I would try this option over a hotel while travelling for business and all my expectations were exceeded. Everything was perfect from the garage, to the wifi to the amazing kitchen and living area. I was even a bit concerned that there wouldn't be an ironing board and iron, but it was all there. I've already booked this rental for my next business trip to Bend. If you are considering this option, I say go for it. You won't be dissapointed. I promise!

Our wonderful, long weekend spent at 635 Peak View Drive at The Bluff

I can't even express how impressed and pleased we were with our accomodations at The Bluff! My family of 5 adults stayed at 635 Peak View Drive and it was extremely well maintained and decorated just beautifully, and it was just a few minute walk to the Old Mill District! We were in town for a family wedding and several other family members rented hotel rooms. We ended up entertaining at the condo and everyone had plenty of room to relax and enjoy the condo and hot tub! I can't think of one thing that would have made our stay any better! We brought plenty of food to prepare in the wonderful kitchen and the only thing i would suggest to anyone staying here and planning on entertaining, is to buy extra drinking glasses..... but that's about it! Thank you so much for letting us rent your condo, we plan on returning to Bend and would like to rent from you again! Can't beat it!

We brought 4 east coast friends to experience a weekend in Bend and couldn't have chosen a better rental! This condo is immaculate, beautifully furnished, very comfortable, spacious...and has a great location to top it all off. It came with everything we needed: fully equipped kitchen, games, extra blankets, WiFi, hot tub, and barbecue. Pet friendly, too :-) I'd recommend this property to anyone, and will definitely be back again.

GR8 place 2 Stay

My kids LOVED staying here in 2010 during spring break, it had everything they wanted. They were able to share a room w/the twin beds, plenty of room upstairs to play and best of all the 'HOT TUB' was their favorite. We hope to be coming back in 2011.

Family retreat

We recently rented the condo for a family gathering. It exceeded our expectations by far. Everyone had their own space which is nice when sharing a home. The only drawback to the vacation was there is only twenty four hours in a day to enjoy this beautiful place. The shopping, dining and walking trails from this location can't be beat!
