When you walk in through the gate of this rustic paradise, you enter a world unto itself. Yet outside the gate you’re in the most sought after neighborhood in the Rocky Mountain West! The rental is attached to our French inspired log home.
We maintain the cabin in accordance with the criteria as set forth by the Partnership for Global Sustainable Tourism. These criteria were designed for larger organizations, so we adapt them to our situation (one of a kind rental) and adhere as closely as we can to these criteria. Questions welcome, or check them out by doing a Google search for Partnership for Global Sustainable Tourism.
One bedroom, huge deck, great gardens (including a small stream and pond). Old world window hardware, claw foot tub, floor-to-ceiling barn sash windows in bathroom. Small rooms, low ceilings, exposed log perlins, plank floors and ceilings, hand scribed chinking. It is rustic and real with artistic touches and is truly unique. The coffee table in the living room is the almost-world-famous 'Jackson Hole Box,' filled with maps, books, brochures, coupons, recommendations, insider tips and more. The plethora of nooks and crannies, and sense of abundance, belie the small carbon footprint of this green building and garden. The garden is completely chemical free, so children and grownups alike can feel great about exploring the nooks and crannies there. Also enjoy the playground and organic vegetable gardens adjacent to the property.
We JUST finished some major improvements including a brand new kitchen, additional cooking equipment, and always professional detail cleaning. Sealy Posturpedic mattress/box spring set, and luxury down bedding with king pillows, plush blankets await you for the most comfortable and luxurious sleep ever!! The place sparkles!!
The house is not in a subdivision, rather it's one of two small lots surrounded by 5+ acre parcels, one of which is an historic ranch, 110 acres on the Snake River. Within 2 miles of our home (you can walk or ride down the newly constructed bike path which connects to Grand Teton National Park and Teton Village) are the following:
*Prime Snake River access point
*Nouveau Italian and Barbecue dining
*Elite Teton Pines Golf and Tennis complex (great little shops,king, post office, gourmet deli, a very decent wine shop, great garden store, etc...)
*Playground/Park
*Old West 'General Store'
*Espresso/Bagel shop on a little creek
*Public Transportation (directly to and from ski area and town, walking distance)

*Dry Cleaning
*Yoga Studio/Health Club
* Fabulous Garden Store
* Post Office/Fed Ex

* Bike/Ski shop with excellent advice on activities in the area
It’s “village” living at its best!
For the right person/people, this rental is extraordinary.
There is an LCD/HDTV with DVD player and cable. We also offer free WIFI.
Children are welcome and it is magic for them. It is a requirement that clients understand the non-standard set up of the house (which is it's charm) and take necessary precautions..
We maintain 10:30 pm - 8:30 am as quiet hours.

My husband and I stayed in Beth and Phil's cabin for our honeymoon. We could not have imagined just how perfect it turned out to be! Secluded yet minutes from everything! Exactly what we wanted! This cabin is perfect in every way, down to the details - and the owners pay attention to every little detail! Thank you so much for making our honeymoon the special trip we wanted it to be. We've been having withdrawals ever since we left! We fell in love with your cabin but especially fell in love with Jackson! It surely is a special place to be! Oh! and your kitchen remodel looks great!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

It has been a little over two weeks since my husband and I stayed at this lovely cabin, and already I am feeling the need to return. This cabin has lots of personality and oozes charm! It is, by far, one of the most unique places we have stayed. The history of the house is quite interesting. We fell in love with the place immediately! Beth and Phil have done an amazing job with the cabin. It is very rustic feeling, but has all the modern comforts you could possibly want. It is beautifully decorated and there are all sorts of nice touches throughout (I especially loved the chocolates on the pillow!). There was also a very nice welcome basket full of goodies on the table when we arrived, which was quite thoughtful and very much appreciated! The location in perfect for visiting the towns of Jackson and Wilson, and for exploring Grand Teton National Park. We were only there for three nights, but would love to come back and stay longer next time! Beth was very helpful in offering advice as I was planning our trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons. We didn't see much of Beth and Phil, but when we did meet them, they were both very friendly and welcoming. It is obvious that they truly love their home. They also respect the privacy of their guests, but are right next door if needed. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful, rustic, charming, enchanting, cozy (so many adjectives to describe this place!), and ideally located place to stay. The scenery and wildlife in this part of our country is like no other. Simply spectacular! Thank you, Beth, Phil, Wilden and Ranier for sharing part of your lovely home with us.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: Wow! Thanks for taking the time to write this lovely review!! It was a PLEASURE having you, please return!!!

We stayed in this cabin from August 27th thru September 3rd 2012. It was a terrific visit, really convenient to Grand Teton. Phil and Beth were available to guide and direct when we needed them, otherwise we were on our own. The cabin is fitted out with wonderful finishes. In addition to the parks we enjoyed the tram ride at the ski mountain, hiking and sightseeing out in the Gros Ventre canyons an Antolope Flats, eating and drinking in Jackson and Wilson, etc. Highly recommended by... What a wonderful place to stay and relax away from the daily grind. Sitting in the middle of all the activities that National Parks have to offer, yet quietly hidden behind a wonderful yard. Beth and Phil have outdone themselves decorating this charming log home inside and out. Coming "home" after a day full of action and relaxing in peace and quiet, what else can you ask for. Thanks to the hosts for a wonderful new VRBO experience.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you so much for the kind words! What a pleasure and an honor to host you for this special occasion.

This place clearly has been a labor of love for Beth and Phil, as they say. Yes it is a tad rustic, yes it is un-modern as they say, but as your stay unwinds you fall in love with the charm and history of the place - the water flowing through the property, the gazebo, the little decorative touches Beth has done both inside and out. If you don't fall in love with this place in a day or two, I don't know what to say. It fit our needs perfectly as a base camp for a very active 7 days and both of them are perfect hosts. They have recently remodeled the kitchen and the Ikea-based remodel not only takes nothing away from the charm this place oozes, but it is highly functional. We loved sitting out on the gazebo at nights and the hammock in the yard is a winner. Beth has done a good job listing the property in all aspects. THANKS for making our activity-based trip so relaxing and charmed!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
Owner response: We could not have asked for more perfect guests! Thank you a million times!!! All the best, Beth

Myself, husband and two children spent 4 nights in this cabin/ log home. Upon arrival, two beers, lemonade, cheese crackers, ginger snaps and ice cream in the freezer awaited us....very nice touch! The home is both rustic and modern at the same time. There is a queen bed in the upstairs loft and a day bed with trundle in the downstairs living space. The bath was upstairs with plenty of towels. The tub was charming however a bit difficult not to spray water on the floor when showering. A lovely gazebo on the deck made a calm setting for a morning cup of coffee while overlooking the gardens. The home is approximately 10 minutes from the main square in Jackson Hole. I would recommend this location and would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
Owner response: What a pleasure to host this family. Thank you so much!!

Beth and Phil have created a fabulous place ....Lovely setting with all sorts of thoughtful touches...Great location, too! They could not have been more giving or receptive! Brand new kitchen and the most comfortable bed ever! A stay here is a combination of being on your own quiet vacation and yet having home and "family" nearby if anything is needed. Loved watching the birds out the windows. Wonderful experience in every way....Many thanks!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

What a special property and owned by special people! I would second all of the things that you read in the previous reviews. We have stayed in several VRBO places in three different countries, and this was one of the two best. So much attention to detail and so many extras like a bookcase with lots of books and cozy throws to wrap up in while you are reading. And even lots of sharp knives in the kitchen. Also, it was so convenient to have WIFI. Be sure to have Beth and Phil tell you about the history of the house. We also recommend asking them where they are performing; you might want to go hear them. Great fun. Although it is just off of the main highway, the cabin is far enough back from the road that there was no problem for us in sleeping at night. The little stream running through the grounds is charming.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, adventure seekers.
Owner response: This review means the world from such inspiring, eloquent, lovely folks. This is why I love VRBO!! Best to the both of you, and THANK YOU! See you soon somewhere down the road!!

My wife, 2 year old son and I stayed here in Sept '11. We had a wonderful time!! The location is phenomenal and only minutes from Jackson and Teton Village and of course the park. Beth (host/owner) lives on site and keeps the unit in impecable condition. She has thought of every last detail and truly cares about making your stay memorable. I have rented from individual VRBO units all over the country and this is my first review to write as it really left an impression on me.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: I am so appreciative to this family for being fabulous guests and also for the spot-on suggestions for an even better experience for vacationers. I love it when guests let me know what they like and what they would like more of. This place means the world to us and our favorite thing is when people really do have a memorable experience, such as what we have had in this magical valley for 30 years. You and your family and friends are welcome back any time, so THANK YOU! Beth

What a great place, can't say enough fabulous things. My husband and I never took a honeymoon and have spent the last 20 years raising our kids. Our youngest is getting married this summer and we thought it was time for a long overdue and much deserved VACATION! Jackson Hole, we'll be back - the people, the weather, the beautiful scenery, the wild life (found in the Tetons as well as the Million Dollar Cowboy LOL) was great fun. So glad we found this little cabin to spend our time in, very homey, convenient to everything with wine, cheese, chocolates and grapes to greet us. Such a special place.....Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: You two were the PERFECT guests, thank you so much...Welcome Back Anytime!!
